Nitro White

This is probably the best blind buy I have ever gotten. I had not smelled any of the nitro line before and had heard how hyped red was but it seemed like every reviewer was a bit pleasantly surprised by this one and decided to get it. I will say my personal preference leans more towards unisex scents that lean slightly masculine than all out masculine scents. This to me starts with a beautiful sweet irisy with a blend of vanilla and amber with the slight scent of a milky honey and slight leathers. The honey aspect isnt so much straight honey from a jar but more so how honey smells when you put it in a baked goods recipe and you just get that little bit of sweetness from it. Its similar with the leathers in that is a very creamy leather scent if that makes sense. It has a warmth and cozyness to it that is absolutely charming and it does it without relying on the kind of spicy notes that many fragrances rely on to achieve the same effect. Its definitely more of a fall winter maybe spring time scent that you could easily get away with day or night and more of a summer nighttime fragrence. To me its not so much a traditional date night scent but more of one that you wear when instead of going out you decide to have a nice dinner at home and cuddle up under a blanket and watch a film type of smell. I wouldn't wear it to an office or anything like that but its still fairly versatile for the type of fragrance it is. My sister was actually almost upset at how good it smelled because I was the one wearing it. She literally said that "This is probably the best cologne she has ever smelled" and was absolutely astounded when I told her the price. Its long lasting and quiet powerful. I do think that this is a slightly younger smelling fragrance nut not in a bad way. I think most people could get away wearing it no matter the age it just has a youthful essence to it where Nitro Green for example is on the other end of the spectrum where again anyone could probably get away with it but it has a bit more of a mature classy element. If you like Rabanne colognes you will probably like this one as well. I would say if you're under 40 its a safe blind buy, if you're a little older than that I still think you could definitely rock this but be aware of the settings for it.

This fragrance just arrived in the mail, and after an... eventful unboxing: (collar came off, fragrance was freezing cold, nitro ornament was all out of whack), the bottle is now holding together very well and doesn't feel necessarily cheap in the hands. In the opening I picked up the florals right away, coming together into a pleasant dryer sheet type of powdery smell. This is accompanied by a beautiful crystalized honey/honeycomb note that even inexperienced noses like my own are able to pick up on. The fragrance has a friendly and slightly comforting feel to it, and becomes more handsome as it dries down when the patchouli and muskiness come out of their shell. I would say this scent does not scream youthful, being considerably more mature than Hawas Ice for comparison, but I don't own a bottle of Nitro Red to compare to. Zero alcohol smell in the opening. In my case, I don't feel the need to let this macerate but I'm sure it will only get better with time. I have a small yet strange collection of mainly Arabian fragrances and I would have to say this is my favorite so far. Overall 8.4/10, for the price, 9.1/10 (I paid $26).

#844 in my "Tour de Fragrance" WOW! Right off the bat, ignore the "reminds me of" section. I have more than half the listed scents and they aren't even close. This is pretty much a bargain priced similar, not a dupe, of Tiziana Terenzi's "Siene". https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Tiziana-Terenzi/Siene-55002.html Siene is actually a reasonably priced scent, at least on Jomashop where you can get it for $89. It's surprising that a really terrible Tiziana Terenzi scent like Kirke gets so much attention when Siene is such an outstanding fragrance (Laudano Nero is also quite good). I like Siene better than this for it's incense and sandalwood notes, but only a tad, and though I wouldn't consider this Dumont fragrance a clone, it's so very, very similar! And since you can get it for $32-34 you absolutely should! It leans green, which I love, more masculine than unisex, and its long lasting and strong projecting for hours. I think it's a great business scent, but I'd also say date wear. Very versatile and lots of character. I'd happily wear it every day. Absolutely safe blind buy.

Straight out of box this is VERY sweet and kind of super generic and honestly kind of unpleasant to me, its very musky/powdery vanilla and honey, however it did improve a bit just after 2 days of maturation and it definitely needs more. Longevity seems ok so far but nothing crazy. Update: after 8 days it has definitely improved quite a bit, now i can finally pick up on the iris and i like the scent quite a bit more. I still find it very powdery and sweet but objectively its a good fragrance. Longevity is still just ok with about 6 hours on my skin. Update 2: after around 3 weeks it has changed some more especially in the drydown, becoming more powdery vanilla heavy, very comforting and beautiful scent and the more i wear the more i like it. The opening is still somewhat meh but that drydown is justt too gooood. Performance has also increased to around 8 hours with very good projection for the first 2 hours. Changed my rating from OK to LOVE.

Very nice. A really well done honey/vanilla is what comes thru to me at the front. Given that I pickup these warm notes so strongly, I don't see this as a spring scent like many others do. It seems pretty straightforward winter/fall dominant. This might be my favorite of the Dumont Nitro lineup which I really enjoy already. Performance is very strong too. I sprayed a tissue paper since its summer where I live. This was 3 days ago and its still kicking with silage when i waft the paper around. 9/10... I really like this one. EDIT: We now know what this is a clone of thanks to @Spoonsoflurry ; Bois d'Argent by Dior. Much better performing than the original tho. EDIT2: I started not giving a s**t and wearing this in the spring/summer from time to time, it still works great for these months. Doesn't bother my nose in the heat. Quickly becoming one of my favorite fragrances. I have no doubt i'll finish this bottle within 6 months.
