Soprano Fury

I’ve had Dumont Soprano Fury for about two months now, and with consistent wear it’s really settled into its own. This is a fragrance that makes its statement early, but does it in a way that stays smooth and approachable. The opening leans clearly toward mandarin and caramel sweetness rather than aromatic freshness. It comes across bold and noticeable right away, but it never feels heavy, sticky, or overdone. There’s a lightness to the sweetness that keeps it airy and easy to wear, even with a few extra sprays. As it moves into the mid, the aromatic freshness starts to rise and add contrast. The sweetness doesn’t disappear, it’s simply lifted and refined. That balance is where this fragrance shines. It keeps its sweet core intact while gaining a cleaner, fresher feel that prevents it from becoming flat or overly sweet. In the dry down, everything settles into a warm, lightly woody base with that sweet tone still present but more subdued and smooth. Performance has been consistent throughout my time with it. Projection is solid for the first couple of hours, noticeable without being loud, and longevity comfortably lasts most of the day before it wears closer to the skin. Overall, Soprano Fury feels youthful, confident, and very wearable. The transition from a mandarin and caramel driven opening into a fresher aromatic mid, all while maintaining a smooth sweetness, makes it stand out. For the price, it overdelivers and has easily earned a regular spot in my rotation.

I'm the one that added Armaf Checkmate King, Scandal Absolu, and Odyssey Mandarin Sky underneath the "This perfume reminds me of" section. I left off Mandarin Sky Elixir because Soprano Fury has the caramel note that isn't really in Mandarin Sky Elixir. I'm a HUGE fan of this DNA. Checkmate King and Odyssey Mandarin Sky Elixir are my go to fragrances. I got this in and man, this is absolutely phenomenal. I will be buying another bottle or two. It's strong right out the box, but let it maturate for at least a month and it turns into something crazy. Every time I spray it, I cough or sneeze. Monster performance. I smell it on me all day long. Projects strong for the first 3-4hrs. Longevity is at least 10hrs, however, I smell it on my clothes well into the next day. Every time I've worn it, I've received some sorta compliment or acknowledgement. And yes, it does smell like One Million Lucky as well. It's like a combination of JPG Scandal and One Million Lucky. It's really sweet, but it's not youthful or anything like that. It's a nice Fall scent.

Toooooo sweet and loud. Also very feminine leaning. I wouldn't want to wear this as a man and I would even find it overbearing on a woman. Headache inducing. There's no subtlety or nuance to the fragrance at all. Just cloying sweetness from the opening to the dry down. I gave it away

I like this one a lot probably my 3rd favorite from this line and I have them all. Ice and Elite are my favorite with fury 3rd and pure 4th.
