Acqua di Positano

Citron's fresh juice bursts with fresh leaves, Feel the soft orange petals and remind you of a holiday in the drowsy Positano. The sound of the sea that I feel from time to time makes it a more perfect memory. The most attractive part of Aqua di Positano is the orange blush and hedion and salt notes of the heart note. I think it's because it's the best way to draw the 'leass' that you can feel in Positano. None of the notes interfere with the drowsiness. A balance of passing lemon pulp and proper salt. The very soft white floral scent remains on the skin until the end without any change.

Love this salty, citrus fresh beach scent. It’s an easy reach for sunny days.

This starts off with the exact same lemon bavarois tartelette as Hermès Jour pour femme. This sticks around for a long time on my skin. After about 2 hours, it gently travels to the seaside for your perfect after dessert walk on the beach. I think it's very beautiful, even though it's kind of sweet in the opening.

Fantastic citrus fruit opening but then it goes so very sour, into rhubarb territory.

I was really excited to try this latest release from Eau d'Italie. I enjoy a lot of what this house offers, and love their signature scent. Acqua di Positano, however, was a miss for me. It opens with citrus, orange blossom, and lots of salt and driftwood. The driftwood makes it smell a bit stale to me. As it develops the citrus dies down and it becomes a bit more floral, but I still get a ton of saltwater and driftwood, which didn't work for me. It's also a bit synthetic smelling, without going in the calone direction (thankfully). I'm glad I tried this one, but it's a pass.
