Fior Fiore

I love the genre of clean and fresh smelling fragrances. From the start, this fragrance smells like it fits the category of resort casual. It smells casual but not go shopping at Walmart in pajamas at 1:30am casual. The combination of the lily of valley and Jasmine smells sweet and fresh. This is a type of fragrance that would be used to scent soap or lotion. So it reminds me of soap and lotion, but it never reaches soapy or lotiony toiletry item status. I love lotion smells and was disappointed that it doesn’t smell like a lotion even though the jasmine is a little creamy. The sillage is really pretty. It smells of sweet Jasmine and lily of the valley that is almost creamy. I can easily smell it projecting from my skin and other give compliments when I’ve worn it. They say it smells different when asking them to smell it up close and I agree. It only smells soft like the initial projection when it’s a few hours into the dry down. I think an addition of a soapy quality or lotion like quality would make this smell more ageless. It’s pretty and simple. I find that it is not too sharp in cold and dry weather unlike Amouage Ashore, Dior Pure Poison and Kai Kai. I also find this fragrance similar to Byredo La Tulip. I can’t wait to try it out in the heat. I think it will really shine then.

This is so pretty, cool, clean, and fresh. It’s not minty but it’s giving a refreshing spearmint gum feeling. The jasmine keeps the Lilly of the valley from being too screechy or soapy. This is like a cool fresh breeze on a summer day. The musk is of the clean white tee shirt genre. This is floral without that hairspray quality or the pollen-y quality or that indolic thing. I get the picture of a chic woman in white walking around the Amalfi Coast for some reason. It also sends me back to my childhood to my first perfume at the age of 5. My parents took me to a department store where I picked out a perfume bottle in the shape of a cat with a pretty Lilly of the valley fragrance inside. This is the grown up version of that childhood scent memory. So, of course I would like this.

This is such a lovely fragrance! It's cool, green, fresh... with a somewhat spearmint-y note. It's super inoffensive and is perfect for a hot day. I live in a tropical climate country and the heat's already cranking up these days, but this still smells beautiful on me (especially on my shirt) even after I walked far out under the hot sun. :)

Sometimes simple really is best. Lily of the valley and jasmine. It really shows off the lily of the valley. Great for layering. Soapy and clean.

Fior Fiore is another step in my probably-never-ending quest for the perfect floral. The topnote is a bright but comforting lily of the valley which recedes into a heady jasmine. There is sweetness, but tempered with depth. Regrettably, this doesn't seem to have much staying power and was gone within six hours. What it most reminds me of is expensive soap. No bad thing, but not what I look for in a perfume. Joli? Oui. Transports de joie? Non.

This is an extremely airy jasmine, the sort that some equate with a nail polish note. It’s not sweet and it is extremely hot weather friendly. If there is a musk note it’s the invisible skin sort and isn’t heavy; I don’t perceive it much if at all. I do find this fragrance slightly strange and not particularly beautiful, but I still like to wear it. It layers well and I appreciate how light it wears.

This is mainly a lily-of-the-valley scent, with jasmine sambac as backup. The jasmine sambac creates a sort of skin smell, and the lily-of-the-valley is floating on top of that. It's gentle, it doesn't project much and it is soft. The lily-of-the-valley is clean, the jasmine is a bit dirty, so it's an interesting combination. This only lasted around four hours on me.

Pretty clean comforting white floral

To my nose this is sort of nondescript and generic. It's pretty, but it reminds me of the perfume samples they used to put in magazines that sort of all smell similar. I don't get much muskiness from Fior Fiore; it's mainly a fresh and agreeable floral.

This is such a lovely fragrance. A couple years ago I tried TF's jasmine rouge, and it made me think that jasmine just wasn't my thing. Enter Fiore Fiore. I really like it. I think the addition of the Ambrette really just smooths everything out. It doesn't have the sharp "after-smell" I get from a lot of floral fragrances either. So, after "not being a fan of Jasmine" I ended up getting this one.

Is a scent if you just came out the shower and used a delicuous soap.
