Dear Bourgognais...why would you post a comment as such, without ever testing the scent and make a reference to cheese...although credits for the originality ;-) Beaufort by Eauk is a great niche fragrance that sells a story of the trailblazers of old and referred to the measurement scale for wind. The ingredients are composed by selecting those spices and herbs that the Dutch brought back centuries ago to the Netherlands. This background thought gives Eauk Beaufort a distinctive signature that is both bold and elegant without shouting to much. The fragrance is suitable for any occasion. Summer, Winter, Autumn and spring, although it is more of an evening fragrance.

EAUK barreur aka beaufort. i have the label beaufort. it is much more stylishly vibrant than i had expected. instead of old time dutch merchant from indonesia, it is contemporary dutch: rem koolhaas not rembrandt. cool smoothness of bright, non-demanding, spices. the presentation box (seems real wood)conveys the mood with simple gold sans serif letters and an orange bed for the clear glass cylinder and its plastic "wood" top. the box proclaims there are "tickling spices" carried back "floating in the fabric." indeed, the spices tickle, a fragrance playfully composed of spice and flowers. but definitely not powerful. heading toward the sparse bedroom of wild sex after a few too many at a trendy club. fleeting, intense, the hormonal rush of youthful gods and goddesses from madison avenue paradise. maybe even a latte in the morning. the sun will be shiny new. the beaufort will be casually sprayed, and it will smooth any rough edges. a sweet kiss au revoir ma belle/mon beau. this is the contempo male, man "on the move"-- a bit full of himself and plans of conquering the world. cocky.

Airy, classy lightly spiced floral scent. Unisex. I smell saffron, iris, lavender, and a little bit of pepper and leather. Well blended, smooth, light, elegant. Good for day or night, year round.

True to it's name, Eauk Beaufort is a bold and elegant scent. For those who dare, the mix of saffron and lavander creates a spicy and powerful fragrance.
