Aquamarine N Powder

This was love at first smell. It's easily a 10/10 for me, and I give very few fragrances such a high rating. The first thing that hits your nose is the powder, then comes everything else. While it's not listed, I definitely smell cistus in the opening. The sandalwood note is a slightly sweet one. There's soft lavender is there just around the edges. However, it's not really what I'd consider a floral perfume. I also don't smell the passionfruit. It leans faintly sweet but only with a small kiss of sugar. There's also an ambery quality to it. It lasts forever, and a chalky iris note doesn't show up until long past the 12-hour mark. I can as easily imagine this scent on a grandma as as I can on a teen. It's simultaneouly comforting and innocent. Strangely enough I could also imagine it on a stripper, so maybe it's not so innocent after all. It's a unisex fragrance, but I think it leans more female. One interesting thing about this fragrance is that it's all-enveloping. If you get in an enclosed space like a car wearing it, everyone can actually taste it. It lasts all day and then some. Even after I shampooed my hair, I can still smell it there the next day. I wish EBK (Essence Beyond Known) wasn't so elusive. Their website simply points to their social media accounts, and it looks like the only places to buy their fragrances are off ebay or as decants. Supposedly, they once had a sampler available for purchase via Instagram, and you can order fragrances via Instagram messages. I feel like I need to try more of what they have to offer.

To say it's similar to Alexandria II is ok. I mean it's not exactly a copy of Alex II but it does remind me of it. A different take on Alexandria II probably fits better. It's not redundant to have both. This is a high quality fragrance and it smells really amazing. As for EBK Paris, after trying all of their offerings I can say there's nothing bad comes from this brand. Everything is just stunning. Worth exploring.

I love this fragrance and this house; most of their fragrances in my collection are bangers. This is a subtle, classy, and elegant powdery fragrance with a bit of oud in the background. Someone described it appropriately as a blend of Xerjof Alexandria II and Rosendo Mateu No 5. I own both of those fragrances, and I agree with the comparison.

This is a lot like Alexandria II, but is has way better performance. I get soo many compliments when I wear this. Like people literally chase me down to ask me what I am wearing. I have found their customer service great and they respond very quickly.

Powdery, lavendery, with a touch of wood, not too loud or offensive. Quite sophisticated and long lasting. I adore EBK fragrances.

Powdery purple floral. I like the floral notes but scent has an unlisted ambroxan undernote I don’t like. If I had to wear ambroxan, I cld possibly tolerate it here. Relegating this scent to the ‘Reference’ section of my collection to see if layering will make this a keeper...

This is a musky, powdery clean scent. I mainly pick up the notes of iris, lavander, powder and sandal wood. This is a long lasting and very projecting fragrance. Unisex leaning feminine.

I’m failing to see which aspect of this scent could be considered ‘aquamarine’, for this is little more than a reductive copy of an already unpleasant perfume. It transports me back to the nightmare which was blind-buying Xerjoff’s Alexandria II, a perfume I was not kind about in my review. The utterly unrelenting and borderline nauseating contrast between humid, burning plastic and a suffocating rubbery powderiness is hard to tolerate. It is so undeniably similar to Alexandria II, but leans into that panic-inducing clinical plastic smell even further. I find it vulgar and irritating, and unpleasantly trapping to wear. If you’re going to completely copy an existing perfume, at least choose a good one.

Sinto a cremosidade do Maracujá com o Sândalo e o toque especial que a Lavanda dá para a fragrância, deixando o perfume cremoso e viciante. Se passar na mão, vai querer ficar cheirando o dia todo ! Recebi muitos elogios no meu trabalho, todos gostaram demais ! Importante ressaltar a ótima fixação na minha pele e uma projeção de moderada a alta nas duas primeiras horas.
