After Game

It smells like Dior Homme Cologne from opening to drydown. I've tried numerous Dior Homme Cologne alternatives like Mercedes-Benz Cologne, Jimmy Choo Man Ice, Zara Vibrant Leather Cologne, Chanel Allure Homme Sport Cologne, etc. But, El Ganso After Game is very special for me as I think it smells super close to Dior Homme Cologne (and with its own twist of being just slightly more earthy and woody, barely noticeable though) and best of all, I think it has the best performance to price ratio out of those other choices. The performance is also quite good for a freshie, and that's why I'm keeping it instead of those other alternatives. It will be an excellent choice for a very hot day or just if you want to wear something refreshing or uplifting. Not sure if it's similar elsewhere, but it's priced very well here. Not to mention that the quality is very high, especially for a cheapie. Got this one for around $12 (a 125 mL bottle with around 85 mL left), which made it a steal. But, for its full bottle price of around $30, I'd also still get this one because it's really that good.

What a lovely fragrance! Fresh green, uplifting and on same time it has a coziness because of tea and vetiver. What I get at the Opening is citrus and of course a very cozy charming tea note with a hint of earthy vetiver. Actually the tea is there till the dry down and I love it. So after a while the ginger will be more noticeable with a fresh balanced spicy note. And it's all smell so natural and well blended and balanced. Longevity and projection is acceptable IMO. I enjoy it, hope you'll enjoy it too.

Very nice, balanced "smells good" fragrance for men. Perfect for teen boys, just balanced just right, good longevity, not too citrusy, not too woody, a just right, light and fresh fragrance for men. Including the very young. Smells very natural, all natural, and that is a huge plus for me. One of those just "smells so good" fragrances which are hard to classify.

Rica fragancia para el día a día,según mi percepción abre muy citrica, predominando el Limon o Jengibre, pero rápidamente empieza a evolucionar y sus notas se empiezan a mezclar , en mi piel el secado se asemeja mucho a Starwalker de Montblanc pero con más fijación y con esa nota citrica y menta presente ,pero acompañando de forma muy prudente.

I don’t usually gravitate toward citrusy fragrances, but this is really good. Reminds me of my childhood somehow. Love this!

the perfect cologne. and lasts much longer than the dior one. 9/10

To my nose this is extremely green the citrus lightens up the heavy of the green notes. To me it's a bit astringent and sour. For the price it's a good grab and spray.

Gone in minutes. 10 sprays, doesn’t matter. Faint skin scent after an hour. Also it reminds me more of a scent I’d spray a room with to freshen the air, not my body. Girlfriend was extremely underwhelmed by it to boot. You can pass on this one.

I think "reminds me of" section is very much justified to a degree, except Agua Fresca Citrus Cedro (which I've been testing next to After Game) for a week now. Agua Fresa Citrus Cedro is really quite different than any of the reminds me of voted fragrances IMO. After Game indeed will remind you of DHC and sort, but as a unique point it opens with a sharp anise-basil and the green tea notes. Otherwise opening is full of lemon, lime, ginger and perhaps coriander. Vetiver to my nose is very muted, instead I can pick a heavy dose of white musks, namely Habanolide, that gives an overall hot iron on fresh laundry sensation and Iso E Super. This is an instant like for citrus heads out there. Very good value for money too.

Great stuff. It is similar to dior cologne in the dry down, but the opening is a little more green. Actually the opening reminds me of Vintage Green from banana republic, but the dry down is the same musk as dior. The whole el ganso line is totally worth a pick up, especially if you find them around 30 bucks.

It's a neat green, fresh, ginger spicy, a lil hint of tea leaves fragrance that's pretty good for the price offered at 40 USD for 100 ml. Having said that, poor projection and longevity. Great wooden cap on a clean and solid transparent bottle

Very beautiful citrusy aromatic scent. It's very citrusy and very green, that's how I like my citruses. Longevity is decenct but sillage is not so great. For the price it's an absolute banger. 8/10

I knew I smelled this somewhere befor-then it hit me. Smells like Versace eau Fraiche.
