Aurora

As Trajan was optimus princep, Electimuss is OPTIMUS! Aurora is complex enough to have me continually checking what note I can pick up on throughout the day. It is smooth and lightly floral with a musky and woody tone. Exquisite. I wore it during a tourist trip to St. Louis. I wore it to work (go light on the sprays). I wore it to dinner with a suit and to breakfast on a boat in trunks. Then, I gave a sample to my daughters and they are in love with the Goddess Aurora also. My brother grabbed some and won't talk of any other fragrance now.

The oud presents a formidable challenge in the opening, but the mid to dry notes evoke a distinct similarity to Xerjoff's "More Than Words."

This smells exactly like all of the Montale fragrances containing oud and rose. It’s definitely got that Montale vibe about it, anyone who’s tried Montale will understand. It’s soft, powdery and femme leaning but pleasant enough. This doesn’t smell like an Electimuss frag to me. 6/10

I like it as a jammy rose oud fragrance by itself. Unfortunately it's too feminine for my taste. Value is good.

Dry and powerful saffron with lots of oud. It’s kind of Oriental classic: rich, spicy and very dark rose. But here the rose note is somewhat overpowered by spices and oud wood. I think it gives a touch of sweetness and powderiness, but for me it’s still more about very dry oud. Follow me on IG: scent.guide

Pretty underwhelming. I'm no expert, but this doesn't smell like real oud. It smells like cheap synthetic oud that I can find in a cheapie I have and paid like 18 euros. This feels synthetic and it's not very pleasing. It's the only one from the whole kit I have that I really didn't like.

This fragrance contains Hexyl Cinnamal. Animal studies have demonstrated that Hexyl Cinnamal is an endocrine disruptor--do better, Electimuss. Choosing to smell sexy shouldn't be a hazardous decision.

Another typical rose-oud blend. Evident saffron. Harsh. 🤢

Honestly, this house has been truly consistant in having hits with me overall but I have to admit that this isn't the best oud that I've spent time with from this house, or others for that matter. I guess it just seems to be lacking something for me overall. I think it comes across as flat in a way that all the notes stay at the same volume and blend together into this one note. It's like a stagnant and still pool of this very synthetic and medicinal type of musky oud in general. If I try concoct a bigger picture then this pool is surrounded by a bank of dusty dry spices with a stunted struggling rose growing along the edges occasionally. Oddly I also get this nutty green note I this one, which is kind of like an unripe, milky hazlenut case that's been crushed. Bizarre.

Aurora is sweet and feminine it also has kind of a house hold cheap cleaner type of smell initially. After 2.5 hour dry down it gets a little better with a powdery floral and clean smell; still solidly feminine but a lot better in the dry down and like all the Electimuss fragrances I have tried it is on the weak and close side of things. I like my fragrance to be bold... regal and brutal; making this house not at all my forte.

A diffuse skeleton of a rose-oud-saffron fragrance. It's sweet with a light dusting of spices, has a fair bit of funk to it, and an airy rose tinting the scent. The sourness of the oud gives it an offputting floor cleaner undertone, as if entering a recently mopped room. Moderate projection fades over 3-4hr, longevity 12hr+.

Smells like Aquanet hairspray. I’m not a fan.

Violent rose-saffron bomb that fries out my nostrils. It's one of the first and few fragrances I've truly hated. Xerjoff MTW comparisons are apt, and it makes sense I can't stand that fragrance either.

Having smelt this 'oud' before in MANY niche brand offerings, it did disappoint somewhat. It it heavily affected by the synth-musk and spice (clove-cinnamon-cardamom-saffron), and whilst it doesn't smell bad at all, it doesn't smell like anything I haven't already tried. Various elements of this scent are present elsewhere, and even though I do like this scent, for me, if I've experienced it before somewhere else, it is a little disappointing. It's a no for me, but I imagine others will really like it...

Summer banger. Beautiful saffron. NOT a rose-oud in the fashion many people know. Oud is barely existent with the rose--white musk---ambergris dancing along with the Saffron. Unisex perhaps leaning feminine. If the man is wearing Roja Elysium, the lady is wearing Aurora. Spring through summer ONLY. Performs best in temps above 65 degree F. As per usual, Electimuss and their high quality fragrances, NEVER disappoint.

Nope not for me. The skanky Oud they use ruins it for me. I’ve had some of THE best Oud rose perfumes and this house makes the worst. But I am crazy about Amber Aquilaria and a few others. Just not this one . It’s awful. Couldn’t scrub it off fast enough. I bought 10ml decants of most of the fragrances in this house. This one I’m throwing out.

I don’t like this one, the oud used is cheap and I have smelt it in many fake oud designers. Glad I only bought an 8ml decant. I’m gonna add it to a swap bundle. Maybe someone else will love it.
