Le Parfum Bridal

My first bridal perfume was Angel, back in 1996, and, will this perfume be my second bridal perfum? Well, 1st a handsome man has to enter my life, meanwhile, l will have used every tiny drops of this perfume, l think, even thoug l have big bottle, 3 FL.OZ/90ml. This perfume is easy to grab, it's clean and warm with lots of Amber coming first, and than some flowers says hello back in the bushes, but, they all blushes and fades away in a blink of a second, and that's all about it, hmm... It smells lovely, but dont last, it's gone before you get the ring on your finger, so, l will enjoy overspraying myself with this beauty, while l'm waiting for my husband no 2 to arrive, and than l will decide witch perfume to use at my last wedding, l hope, and, happy Easter to all of you beautiful perfume lovers out there, we have room for more perfumes, and l wish for more love and peace for everybody in this wondeful world!

This is absolutely gorgeous. Deep, feminine, floral, it's perfect for a grown woman getting married or just one who wants to lean into her sensuality. I don't think it's suited for cookie-cutter white weddings in North America or Western Europe. But if you have a more textured, sensual wedding - Middle Eastern, South Asian; the kind with marigold and jasmine and warm florals - it fits perfectly. The amber & powderiness wraps you in a sexy, warm hug, and it stays on my skin forever. It's the perfect scent for a warm summer night, and would wear well in the day as we move into fall and winter. Bonus: when my husband smells it he can't keep his hands off me..so it would be great on that honeymoon, and every night after!

One more unique goodie. Powdery in the opening (ca 15-20 min) and light oriental in the drydown. Powdery as lipstick, oriental as vanilla amber. Somewhere in between there is this transition from white to yellow to orange. Thinking about colours. From clean white to warm and further deeper darker orange/light brown. Musk becomes silent and then vanilla-amber takes over with some orange background. Light benzoin is there too. It is also a bit sweeter at "the end". This is beautiful light oriental scent. Feminine, clean, modern and kinda low-key. Bottle design is indeed bridal and 30ml is very cute and goes in the purse.

I think this might be an acquired taste... but I love this! It reminds me of the discontinued Powdered Veil from Miller Harris even though the notes aren’t the same. And maybe a bit of a glossier you vibe in the opening - it does share some similar notes after checking. It’s powdery , creamy (but not in a laconic way) and gets a bit waxy in the dry down as people mention . a very cosy and comforting fragrance. Not sure if I would consider it a wedding day choice but I do enjoy it. Bottle and packaging is nice and good atomiser. I think the projection is quite small - more of a skin scent you wear for yourself.

Le Parfum Bridal by Elie Saab is a little dream in a bottle. Not entirely sure if it lives up to the full “bridal” promise, but there is an undeniable dreamy quality to it. It opens soft and warm, like a creamy nude lipstick ... delicate yet undeniably confident. Amber takes the spotlight, gracefully embracing the smooth, non-screechy florals in a golden, glowing hug. Understated yet unforgettable, this scent feels like an intimate comforting embrace, one you never want to let go of. This is very a soft ethereal scent on my skin, lightly sweet and powdery. It smells like a powdery candy with sweeteners, very pleasant vanilla scent and I almost get some caramel although it's not listed. I don't get any bridal vibe, to me this is a very inofensive every day scent, suitable for any occasion, office friendly. I saw comparisons with Narciso Rodriguez here and I totally agree, something along those lines. It's a very unique scent and I am happy to have it in my collection.

This is nostalgic to me, it’s a powdery scent not in a bad way but gentle fresh powder kind of way, not at all like le parfum og, the og is strong and head turning. This one is pure...it reminds me of both Guerlain Meteorites and mostly Kenzo Amour. ☺️

This is so powdery and beautiful. Big love. I appreciate the simplicity, as a bride should be.

Clean & powdery Musk, creamy gardenia and a soft amber. I can also detect cedar in the mix too, and rose, although neither are listed in the notes. There is a very light touch of orange blossom & a whisper of vanilla, which reveal themselves as the scent warms on the skin. I get no neroli, ylang or benzoin. It's interesting that they chose to name this one Bridal. The entire Elie Saab Le Parfum line have often been commented on as being bridal scents. I don't get that feeling fom this one though.This is unlike any other Elie Saab creation. They usually like to announce themselves and stay with you for hours. Here we have a shy, pretty and polite fragrance, with moderate longevity, that will only be noticed by those who come close to you. Light, clean and airy, it's unlikely to offend anyone. It reminds me of Narciso by Narciso Rodriguez.

I LOVEEE THIS PERFUME it smells elegant and special My aunt, which has an incredibly elegant taste, tried it out, and she made the best reaction ever. She loved it! It has one problem, which is that it barely stays or shows on you. Although people around me loved it when trying it on, but i never got complemented on it because it sadly doesn't last long AT ALL. It's so sad that such a gorgeous perfume can't be smelled when put on, i don't know how to explain it in another way. but what i think is special about this fragrance is that it has such a nice harmony with the body, the scent goes so well with the body odor.

This does not smell like anything Elie Saab released before, which was quite surprising. This has a very distinct iris note😍 and yes it smells like makeup! It is light, not heavy at all, and the performance is not too strong, it sets close to the skin. Would I use it? Yes! But for the days when I want to wear something I enjoy without necessarily being noticed or if I want a perfume to wear to sleep. Would I repurchase? Although I adore this perfume, I don’t think I’ll repurchase it solely because of poor performance, it doesn’t last unfortunately 🥺

I adore this perfume. The lower rating makes me wonder if I have bad taste, haha. I feel like this perfume is higher on the musk than is listed, or maybe that's just what it does on me. I feel like this scent is very very clean, very powdery, and has a beautiful warmth to it. It's relatively unique and very special, nothing like any other scents I own. I'm just confused by the name as it doesn't exactly give wedding vibes to me but that may also be personal. Lovely addition to my collection and definitely a perfume I reach for often.

I gifted it to my mom and grandma. It is a risky gift if you don't know the person but it reminds me of what they usually like. They really liked it! I tried it as well and it is so powdery and iris-y it is almost not lipstick but a full on compact powder kit or slightly scented baby powder. It is very comforting, however I wish I smelled a bit of something else in it rather than just compact powder. Personally if I had it I would just wear it to bed.

The opening is a bit too loud for me, but the dry-down is magnificent. It reminds me of the Narciso Rodriguez DNA, but more interesting. It's not musky-musky but it's certainly a sophisticated, amped-up skin-scent with a nice kick to it. Absolutely a bridal scent! The bottle is beautiful and would look fabulous in bridal photos.

Yes, very Middle-eastern as mentioned by another reviewer and also very nice and pleasant, well rounded middle-eastern floriental. But tbh, when I picked up the bottle from the shelf I was expecting a unique edge to it and its the opposite of unique. It smells like any other Arabian Floriental. 🤷♀️

I have tested it in a perfume store, This perfume is citrusy in the top notes then moves to white flory scent, both of top notes and middle notes were not remain for along time, but in the dry down I get waxy animalistic scent of strong mixure of Amber and Benzoin, the other ingrediants were dissappeared fast with no any hint of fragrance even while the background, so that's why you feel that there is something missing in the pyramid needs to be more enforced more with white flowers and vanilla. In my opinion, I didn't find it very attractive or suitable any bride at all, I think there are many options in the market suitable the bride of her wedding day more than this perfume; like "Good Girl Blush Carolina Herrera", "My Way Giorgio Armani", "Olympéa Rabanne" and "Love Story Chloé". This fragrance suitable to wear it in all seasons, It lasts 12 hours on the leather and more than one day on clothes. لقد جربته في متجر للعطور، هذا العطر حمضي في النوتات العليا ثم ينتقل إلى رائحة زهور بيضاء، كلا النوتات العليا والنوتات الوسطى لم تدوم لفترة طويلة، ولكن في قاعدة العطر لقد حصلت على رائحة حيوانية شمعية مكونة من مزيج قوي من العنبر والبنزوين، اختفت المكونات الأخرى بسرعة دون أي أثر ولو بسيط في قاعدة العطر حتى في الخلفية، لذلك تشعر أن هناك شيئًا مفقودًا في الهرم يحتاج إلى تعزيز أكثر من مكونات الزهور البيضاء والفانيليا. في رأيي، لم أجده جذابًا جدًا أو مناسبًا لأي عروس على الإطلاق، أعتقد أن هناك العديد من الخيارات في السوق تناسب العروس ليوم زفافها أكثر من هذا العطر؛ مثل "جود جيرل بلش من كارولينا هيريرا، "ماي واي من جورجيو أرماني"، "أوليمبيا" و "لف ستوري من كلوي". هذا العطر مناسب لارتدائه في جميع الفصول، يدوم 12 ساعة على الجلد وأكثر من يوم على الملابس.

It is very nice but I expected more from Elie. It is definitely a middle eastern perfume, it’s something we wear in Saudi, emirates & Bahrain, it definitely has the expensive Arab girl edge but I just expected more from a wedding & anniversary fragrance. I use many Elie Saab and from what I tried this would rank a little lower. It’s not strong at all, it disappears way too quick for a perfume like this. I have this on a side & alien goddess florale in another side & I definitely like goddess florale more scent wise & performance wise. Still, I like them both. I think I’d wear Elie Saab in the morning, for work or brunch & goddess florale anytime but especially a sexy night out.

What happened here? I go from “like” to “ok” I don’t know to like it or hate that it doesn’t smell how I thought based on the notes used the notes in a completely different way that the usual styles. In theory, this would’ve been one of my go to, based on notes. But almost 2 years and everytime I try to wear it, I hate how it smells. Not because the perfume is bad, but because I don’t smell the lively notes here. They mixed everything in a way that is annoying. Elie Saab was a safe buy for most, because of this, I’m not scared if my next buy smells like it...

I had a hand lotion of this which I liked. Today I put it on and it smelled of That Chemical. Not as strongly as in other things that have that chemical in them, but it was definitely there. A modern "superamber." Amber is one of my favorite notes and now half the things I have that are amber are ruined for me because I suddenly became able to detect and detest That Chemical.

Powdery scent that is a bit makeupy and waxy. To me as a lebanese, its not how I imagine an Elie Saab bride to smell like to be honest. I imagine her more refined, more elegant and more rich smelling. I can see it on a well dressed middle aged lady in day time but not a bride. Not a bad scent, but I wanted more from Elie.

the first thing it reminded me of is lipstick, the sort of makeup you would smell on your mum or aunt as you grew up. it doesn’t feel quite bridal, but to me it fits in with the elie saab collection. smells of an older women, bit nostalgic. white and le essentiel is still tops for me.

got a chance to test this and to me and a friend this smelled like dior homme! crazy

At first spray it seemed very innocent to me with its little smell of white flowers, but quite quickly these were joined by ylang-ylang and especially amber, very intense. It could have been nice but unfortunately it became quite animalistic (in my opinion something is missing in the pyramid) and reminded me a little of the end of Jicky without the disadvantages of the beginning (very amber smell with this "animality" which persists and definitely doesn't want to leave). So Bridal, yes, but rather Wedding Night... I'm somewhere in between, while not entirely disagreeable, I don't find it very attractive either. Definitely test before buying because animal odors can be hard to tolerate for some (including me). I don't know, but I imagine a wedding fragrance differently. Despite the fact that it is very distinctive, it is very heavy on wood for my taste. Unfortunately, I couldn't smell practically anything there other than the wood, which was gaining in intensity and which was slightly tinged with amber and I didn't even smell a hint of flowers. A heavy perfume for a wedding. Maybe it would take longer to try, but still, on my wedding day, I would like to feel beautiful and not wooden.. :)

This may require more tests and to let the bottle age a bit, but first sniffs are giving me Bacarrat Rouge vibes. Not sure how i feel about it. I'm not getting any sweet or powdery anything yet.

I love this. I’m shocked iris isn’t in the notes, it smells like iris, musk, and amber. Waxy, powdery, clean musky, and warm. It smells like a soft cozy sweater. Gentle like a sheer veil. Womanly, light purple or cream colored. I guess when others smells lipstick, I smell iris, a beautiful waxy scent. I grew up around irises every summer, I’m fond of them. EDIT: So, this can wear differently depending on things, I’m not sure what things, maybe the weather, maybe if it’s applied on freshly showered skin, verses bedtime skin, verses fabric, what you’ve eaten recently, what lotion you’ve applied or if you have other perfume on under, I really don’t know exactly. The difference is it can get a little “skanky” a little animalic, but in a good way imo, not too dirty. There is a balance of clean and animalic when it turns this way, in my opinion. I still love it, but it can be a bit of a shape shifter, you have to test it out for yourself.

So, the people saying this is too harsh, strong, or loud might want to adjust the amount they are applying. Even light fragrances can have a bite to them if too much is applied. I generally try one spray on clean, moisturized skin at a pulse point. Depending on the fragrance, it may need anywhere from a few minutes to an hour to mix with your body chemistry. Perfume oils, attars, and extracts need more time to evolve due to the low evaporation rate from having more essence and little to no alcohol. For me, it usually takes around 20 minutes for EDP and longer for attars and extracts depending on weather. If too much is applied, a fragrance can become not only harsh but nauseatingly strong to the person wearing it and even more so to others. I am seeing reviews where people are saying they are using only 8 sprays, as if that is a small amount. 😖

Got it as a recomandation. Well, not sure this reminds me of anything bridal, or if, this is definitely an oriental bride, heavy clothing, loads of gold and intricate embroideries. This association vanilla gardenia / Ylang-Ylang is for me a little special. Not a blind buy for sure. A bride in her 40s? Yes. Heavy, voloptuous, oppulent, long lasting, a combination of sweet and flowery goodness which stays and stays for good measure. Sure thing a bride who knows what she wants and how to get it! I keep breaking my head trying to think what does this remind me of? It has a uniqueness and still, there is something.... Lalique'ish, maybe, le Parfume? Not sure, but on the same line. An absolutely lovely companion for cooler weather on my skin. Am glad I did not buy it in summer, not sure how would I have felt about it.

This leans woody-floral with an ambery warmth in the background. I kept waiting for the iris and that cosmetic, powdery creaminess many people mention, but it never really showed up on my skin. There’s nothing particularly off-putting here- no note feels loud or overwhelming, but at the same time, nothing truly stands out either. While it’s pleasant and easy to wear, I’m not convinced of it as a wedding fragrance. Performance was also underwhelming, with modest projection and longevity that faded sooner than expected.

An introduction is rather masculine, like a soft touch from a bridegroom on his wedding day. Later, white flowers appear, like the bride's wedding bouquet, and warm amber. It's not a typical bridal perfume as the name suggests. But it can be really gorgeous on an autumn bride.

This was my wedding day scent. I will forever love it and hope it is never discontinued without me buying enough bottles to last me the rest of my existence. Sadly the longevity is not the best.

This is waxy/lipsticky!!!! Am I completely wrong, or is that so???? Sticky, pasty yellow flowers too...and a subtle powdery floral undertone... like light taffeta on a bride!

The whole Le Parfum line is wonderful! This looks interesting without honey, but with amber, vanilla and benzoin instead. Might be autumnal/wintery version of the fragrance.

after I saw some reviews saying that it smells like lipstick,I can tell that this perfume smells like mac's fleshpot, which I can't stop smelling while I'm using it!

Surprised by the notes listed, to me this smells lipsticky, powdery, like something out of the Dior Homme line, or Juliette's Lipstick Fever.

I love love love all these bridal releases! I hope they continue and make a matching men’s cologne that compliments the perfume

Got this at marshalls. And this has scratched my iris itch. I was about to buy le labo iris. For $60!!
