Fabulous WATERY Summer Scent. (yes yes yes smellme (above) it IS fabulous, especially for hot summer, and fabulous for a designer scent. - it is my opinion. If you have something more to add then add it, rather than target me and diminish my opinion) OK moving on - sorry this is long. - hate the long reviews too - oops but not to worry - this is NOT one of those ridiculous quasi lucid dream state, fantasia review ramblings. I have Le Parfum, Eau de Toilette, L'eau Couture and now Le Parfum Resort Collection. While not listed - Yes, this scent truly does have the Elie Saab "DNA." There is a shared very sweet orange blossom/jasmine from Le Parfum, and the vanilla/almondy base from L'eau Couture that is in this limited edition - Le Parfum Resort Collection, combined with new notes. The frangipani makes a VERY lovely addition in this scent, along with the yummy fruity note (fig). The frangipani is not heady, nor spicy and has a muted presence, but its nice. As for the fig - I won't say its overtly FIG, but it is fruity. At times you can definitely smell fig, but mostly, not so much. It is more just fruity, almost like passion fruit. Orange blossom and jasmine are the core of this scent and quite strong. The Amber is quite noticeable, sweetens and gives the scent some warmth. The cedar is barely noticeable, smells like it is a cedar/watery aromachemical typically used - but it is not isoEsuper. I think taking the Elie Saab DNA base of orange blossom/jasmine and throwing in just a bit of that vanilla/orange/almond of L'eau Couture, then adding the frangipani and fig was BRILLIANT. The notes are GREAT together. Truly fabulous for a designer flanker. It is summery, bright, floral, fruity, clean, warm, yummy, sweet. Perfect all around scent for daytime or night, work or play. Side by side with Le Parfum there is quite a difference. For one, NO patchouli, which is very prominent in the Le Parfum. This one, Resort Collection, as mentioned, retains the orange blossom/jasmine combo only. It is most similar to L'eau Couture (and you can smell a bit of the L'eauCouture in this scent) however on the other arm side by side comparison of L'eau Couture and Resort Collection, the frangipani and fig - orange blossom/jasmine really stand out and you can smell the differences. Resort Collection is lighter, yet a bit more complex than the L'eau Couture. I think side by side there are differences which make the Resort Collection one to have. I think if you have Le Parfum or the Intense version or the EDT, Resort Collection is definitely one to grab. It is lovely. If you already own L'eau Couture, I can see why some might not feel that Resort Collection is different enough to justify purchasing. If you are deciding between L'eau Couture and Resort Collection. Get the Resort Collection it is fabulous and a limited edition. Or maybe you are like me, love frangipani and fig, will think there are enough differences between them to have them all! Plus the blue bottle is really cool! :) Update - perform much like the Le Parfum Eau de Toilette. Great summer scent, does nicely in heat.

this is a great, modern take on classic fruity-floral-sweet-fresh! very impressive! just bought it yesterday. the beginning didnt impress me, though. too sweet from the fig, but later on ist getting more floral and fresh/woody. the dry down is a completely different scent - BLUE fresh, like aquatic (maybe the combo cedar+orange leaf), so ist a real chameleon1 very changeble, it Keep suprise you every moment new, thats waht I really like about perfumes, not linear at all, and very modern, u can literally smell, this is something new, which I appreciate. very elegant and classy but carefree at the same time, not stiff.not boring but not provokant either. never too sweet, never too fruity ar too anything, intense but not overpowering, not soft but not heavy either. just a masterpiece. the bottle is beautiful, too, I think most of all ES perfumes, because of the deep electric blue Color. love!

I'm quite surprised that I enjoy this one, as it certainly doesn't fit my usual taste. However, Elie Saab seems to do that to me. First and foremost this is a sweet and fruity, but not in an unsophisticated way. If you were the type to wear floral-fruity body splashes in your youth, consider this the adult version. While it doesn't smell similar to anything I own, I find that it's a very safe scent. It is floral and fruity, just not with your typical fruits and flowers. So, you still get the same effect of sweet, carefree joy but without smelling like everyone else. I think this would make an excellent gift and works well in most seasons. (I have not yet tried it in winter.) It is fairly linear, but not to a fault. Just a pleasant and happy aura to carry with you.

The name Resort couldn't be more suitable! I haven't been on holiday for six years now, and after wearing it for 2 hours, all I keep thinking is how this so very much reminds me of holidays by the Aegean sea! You know the smell of our skin, when we've been sunbathing and swimming all day, sweating and renewing the suntan lotion, and then walking back to our hotel and we smell... well, beachy, not clean, but summery?? This is what this perfume smells like, and it goes on like that for hours!

I own a bottle of this in a nice turquoise color but now I see the new bottles in all perfume shop are electric blue - did the smell change too or just the bottle color? does anybody know? since this doesnt make any sense to repackage something this new, which is barely on the market???

I just purchased this today from my store (Lord & Taylor). It is simply beautiful!!! I like how the fig and orange blossom seem to dominate in this! I have the original parfum as well as the L'eau Couture which I like, but this is in my opinion, the best Elie Saab fragrance yet!

my second review I keep falling hard for this perfume. I love it because it is fresh fruity calm straightforward not noisy perfume maybe you underestimate it because it is simple but hey it is a big trick who said great perfume should be complex it is genius that apparent ease

Hmmm there's something sour in this. It has all the holiday goings on type smells that reviewers like, and the tropical notes, but among the sweet and tropical scents there's a sour nip in the back, the mid and dry down are better

Man I love this perfume. I use this very sparingly because I know I can never replace it. So sad it was discontinued. Such a great spring-summer scent.

My bottle has matured but still smells lovely. That has made thos not go sour and weird. Hot summer, gorgeous sillage

I have been plotting and watching eBay for over a year, in hopes of getting this discontinued creation in my collection. It’s a blind buy, a calculated risk I was willing to take. I was sure I was going to love it — and I do. I’ve had my bottle for more than a week, have worn Le Parfum Resort Collection three times. Starts off with a strong fig note that dissipates after 30 minutes. Tropical florals, citrus and wood come out in the drydown, with less emphasis on fig. I’m not a big fruity floral fan, so this arrangement makes me happy. I’m also elated as orange blossom is subtle. My husband doesn’t like orange blossom, and when I asked him to sniff Le Parfum Resort Collection, he did not guess orange blossom. It’s a cool Fall day, and I’m getting a couple of hours of very light projection, while staying close. I don’t have another summer fruity floral in my collection like this, though I am a big fig fan (all parts of the fruit and tree). Glad I scored a big bottle so I can spray liberally. Love the bottle, and this fragrance is a solid like. Edit Feb 2021: even though I like this scent, I’ve decided to let it go to make room for scents I love ( letting go of the “likes”)

Resort collection tried to set itself apart from other Le Parfum flankers while keeping the main theme going. I have to say that it partially succeeded! It is in fact different. It is sweeter, fruitier and has that aquatic vibe. However, it fell in the mainstream trap! This is my least favorite Le Parfum. Not saying that it's bad. Not at all it's very pleasant, just mainstream! First blast is technically pure orange blossom. Then some fig, some frangipani appears. Just a light touch. The orange blossom will always be the dominant note. Finally it dries own into a soft sort of a fig dessert. It's good... Just not as elegant or sophisticated as the others are. Maybe that was the point of the designer. Which in return makes you feel that his creation is a bit overpriced. Performance wise, it's decent. All in all, a good perfume for some younger ladies trying to find an appropriate Elie Saab perfume. Just not so much for those who love the EDP or even the EDT. Both of them!

I find the Resort version lighter and softer than the rest of the ES line. It's also a bit different - while with the rest of them you can immediately recognise that it's Elie Saab, it's not quite the case with this one. If I hadn't seen the bottle and just sniffed the juice perhaps I'm not sure if I would have guessed that it was an ES (but perhaps it's just me), but once you know that's what it is, you start finding the similarities. The fragrance is really quite light and summery, fruity-floral, I'm getting a little fig but not that much. If you're looking for a comparison, it's probably closest to ES L'Eau Couture. It is nice, but I prefer the other ES scents (I love the bottle though!). It is however a good option for those who like the rest of the line but find them too strong or overwhelming. Longevity on my skin is moderate - about 4-5 hours.

Oh, this is gorgeous. I acquired Elie Saab Resort Collection 2015 a few months ago when the temperature was about 60F. I was not very impressed. There was a sharpness to this perfume that made it feel harsh and cold. I put it aside until today. The temperature was 92F today. This is the correct temperature for this blue bottle. The perfume was sweet orange, round, smooth and floral. The dense sweetness from the orange and fig added to something slightly sharp (I think petitgrain) made this perfume a perfect hot weather "resort" fragrance. I understand this now and I am really enjoying it. For better performance, I layer the resort collection over the original Le Parfum EDP.

True summery vibe. It reminds me of holidays in warm countries, sweet sun and ocean light breeze. Surely this scent has a proper name! And the bottle is beautiful, but I might be slightly charmed by my favorite blue color. Update: Fresh, soft sweet, adorable! Update2: It's not only this charming blue color that I love. After one more test, I have no doubts that I adore this sweet fig scent! It is sooooo good! It feels like a body warmed by sun. Update3: Actually, I prefer this scent in a bit cooler temperature, because in heat it is quite intense. Update4: Sweet fig actually matches every season. In autumn I like it more than I did in summer!

I'm comparing 2015 and 2017 versions simultaneously, with both on my arms. The only difference between the two is the initial 30 minutes or so, the dry down is virtually identical. 2015 Resort is much more citrusy, more "beachy", bright, upbeat and more youthful. Quite clean and fresh. It's a bit lighter, seems 2017 has some kind of amber or musky note that permeates throughout where 2015 is relying on citrus to do the same. Overall it's really lovely, and although I preferred 2017 my husband preferred 2015. I think ultimately both end up going to the same place on the skin and they both make fantastic summer fragrances. 7/10

This perfume is beautiful upon first spray. However the deep fruity fig lightens very quickly into a light fresh soapy floral. Maybe a tiny hint of the original Le Parfum orange blossom in the background, but a very different fragrance. This perfume is a lovely fresh and classy fragrance, but not special like the original. It doesn't last long, but it is an EDT, so that is to be expected. I wish this was an EDP with a deeper longer lasting fig note, but the bottle is gorgeous, so I will keep this in my collection.

Summer fragance with orange blossom dominating the composition. It really reminds l' eau couture but without the almonds and the sweetness. Do I love it of would I buy it again? No. It is a generic scent as Olympia PR where a wow factor does not exist or does exist for a short time. I understand the link to womanity mugler. I can smell an almost rotten orange hier as in too ripe orange. I have washed my arms four times and the fragance is still present. So longevity and sillage are quite good.

I am wearing this for the first time after recently blind buying it. I really like it. On my skin there's nothing citrus-y; just a nice, friendly white floral, with some semi-soapy tendencies. Office friendly, decent longevity and quite playful. I wonder how it will perform in the cold weather season. The bottle is beautiful. I am expecting the ES Le Parfum too and getting excited about it.

A very safe and soft option for a lazy, hot weekend. Not impressive, but neither bad. It starts powerfully, with a strong note of fig, but after 10 minutes becomes so weak that almost dissapears. It remains only on the clothes, where you can feel an intense jasmine and maybe the frangiapani. I like it because it's delicate and feminine, but the longevity is very disappointing...

This is a nice fragrance, but nothing unique about it. A "smelled this before" fragrance. It starts with a very dominant fig note and some exciting summer energy that soon fade into a rather generic floral. Similar to Couture but less interesting. I'm afraid that at least for me, staying in this "resort" is not going to be my dream vacation, although I can enjoy it.

An interesting smelling perfume! It's not similar to the other perfumes from that line. I think it's supposed to be a light version of Le Parfum. I like the original Le Parfum the most, so I consider this one as totally different perfume. It's a spicy white floral. Fig note is intense, seems even like fig leaf. Likeable, but not a must have!

I can detect an almond note in the dry down, similar to the green bottle. The Elie Saab dna with its orange flowers is still there but it opens up more bright citrusy and a bit fruity. I was surprised how much I liked it. Quite fresh but not to fresh, would be nice as a spring scent. I can't detect any fig or frangipani on my skin.

Got this last week and it was love at first sniff. Transports me to walking along the Adriatic coast with the subtle aroma of fig and citrus trees wafting around me. Sillage is soft and longevity is average. Lovely summer addition to the line.

It smells beachy, sunny and it's absolutely gorgeous! It reminds me of something but I can't remember of what. I prefer this one than Le Parfum, it's much more versatile.

Fruity tropical. Not screechy but far from sophisticated

This fragrance is not as good as their original Elie Saab perfume. There is something too pungent and sour about this that can come off as offensive to others.

Le Parfum Resort Collection has very little in common with the original Le Parfum. Orange blossom barely features in this flanker, tending to be more on the fruity and fresh side of things. The strongest notes to my nose include a soft, green fig note and a zesty citrus peel accord which tends to dominate throughout much of the opening and the drydown. It's obvious from the very first spritz that this fragrance is intended to be worn during Summer or in a tropical, humid climate. It's like a less sweet Escada release in lots of ways. The orange blossom note is very minor in relation to the rest of the composition. Frangipani appears to be the standout floral in this flanker adding a creamy, somewhat tropical feel. A smooth amber accord in the base adds an interesting warmth that I actually enjoy. I find that the amber blends beautifully with all the fruitiness that this fragrance conveys. Le Parfum Resort Collection in all honesty is not something that I would ever personally wear. It is however a very pleasant fig scent, much softer than the likes of Philosykos by Diptyque. The longevity is surprisingly good as is the sillage. I still prefer the original Le Parfum as I am an avid fan of orange blossom, but if such scents aren't your thing you may be perfectly content with its flanker Le Parfum Resort Collection.

This perfume has a completely different take on fig than what I'm used to. When I first tested it I was hoping to smell a sweeter version of Un Jardin En Mediterranee or a subtle Womanity, and was confused by the lack of figs. It's there, but it's stripped down to a sweet base. It's minor compared to the most dominant frangipani and orange blossom notes. Those two overpower everything else in the opening. As it dries down, the sweetness subsides and gives place to the deeper notes in here, but it keeps its light, summery feel. With a bit more fig it could be a unique addition to the summer fragrances available, but there's just too many floral-fruity perfumes out there to dominate the market. Although, if I had to choose between this one or Marc Jacobs, Armani, D&G, or name your brand, I'd definitely go with Le Parfum Resort. It's not unique, but it's different from the majority. I don't expect huge sillage from a light perfume, but I do expect it to last for more than an hour or two.

This fragrance is full of surprises. It opens with sweet and fruity burst, but that is just for short. Then comes the fig that stays dominant for 1-2 hours. It is rounded with the white flowers and subtle orange in the background. Here I though: Indeed, one lovely, elegant summer fragrance. Reminds me a lot of (its copy, I guess) Avon Rare Sapphires. Nothing special or outstanding, just nice mid-class perfume. It doesn't smell expensive, other ES are much more classy. But then subtle oranges become more and more dominant, weird, sharp, sour and bitter. Someone said "like rotten oranges". I understand the combination, this note adds contradiction and edgy vibe to otherwise sweet and cozy bouquet. The fig disappears, white flowers also, and rotten orange becomes new perfume that doesn't remind me of summer or Mediterranean coast. But I like it because is daring and new. It is like having 3 perfumes in one.

I got this last night after testing like a gazillion other fragrances as I had a long break not sniffing anything at all due to my horrible allergies. First of all, the bottle is a wonderful piece of art, very heavy on my hand when I hold it & the azure blue color of it screams a vacation spent on beaches. As other mentioned nothing is ground breaking as this fragrance smells like so many on the market & it smells like something escada would produce, even my mother agread on that. The frangipani is the first thing that hit you but other than that it smells like a mix of tropical drinks & dancers adorned in frangipani necklaces dancing on the beach, in a nutshell ... it smells like a lux party on the beach.

I am normally not really into florals but I fell in love with this. I tried it when it first came out and by the time I got to buying it, they literally had ONE bottle left in Nordstrom's and that was it. They didn't even have a tester so I had to go on my memory of this scent. I am not disappointed. This is sweet floral with slightly tropical feel. I don't really get fig-its full of jasmine and frangipani and that's what this fragrance is all about. I think it's full bodied but not over the top. It only came in one size so it will last me for quite a while. Now one fragrance, I should have also gotten and didn't was L'eau Couture perfume which was also limited edition. Now THAT one was white flower bomb!

May 2017: the more I wear this gorgeous scent, the more I love it. It is one of my favorites summer scents. Being EDT, it is unfortunately short lived. But it is such a pleasure to reapply. I will certainly look for another bottle ... if I can find it. And afford it. Oh, what a beauty! I bough this scent unsmelled due to the unanimous good reviews. Well, people were not exaggerating. This is a wonderful scent. I get mostly fig and my beloved frangipani. And then the white flowers start to peep through. This is fresh, but not the boring same old same old summer scent. Now would someone explain to me WHY companies make their best creations "limited editions"?

Well.. About a year ago I blind bought the red bottle Elie Saab Resort Collection 2017. I absolutelly love it! So fresh and with the smell of wild strawberries. I bought it based on the reviews from this site. Since then I have been searching for the blue bottle Resort Collection. I suddenly found it secondhand a week ago. I was so exited and couldnt wait to receive this blue diamond. Alas.. I am a bit dissapointed! No fruitiness in this one. It actually had a schreecy smell in the opening. After a few minutes it came to my mind that it reminded me of a 90’s scent. But which? To me it smells like Nothing by Gosh. A fav of mine when I was thirteen years old.

Tried this Resort edition at the airport yesterday. I was very intrigued by some reviewers saying it smellled beachy, and I am on the elusive search of my olfactory summer beachy replica. This perfume unfortunately was once again not it at all, not even remotely. It is lovely and summery, a bit plain and forgettable, safe for hot days that hopefully will arrive reliably in the UK at some point before September. Interestingly towards the drydown it went through a phase where it was similar to Jadore, might have been the jasmine coming to the forefront. Was on my want list but had to remove. The search for the beach scent continues...

I agree with genny17 on this one. After reading reviews, I was expecting a big explosion of fig. Instead, I can barely smell it. I have to completely disagree that this smells anything like brown sugar and fig, so I would encourage people to try this before purchasing. On me, this is a lighter version of Le Parfum. Perhaps closer to the edt? The fig and frangipani are practically non-existent on me. Instead; the orange blossom comes through loud and clear (like the others), and this version seems too perfumey. It's not terrible, but not really different/unique. I much prefer the original.

A daily casual scent, not only suitable for the summer, but for all seasons. Nothing fancy, nothing sexy, and nothing offensive. An ordinary whitefloral-woody. It was a blind buy, and TBH, I expected something groundbreaking from this elegant brand, but this perfume--although being part of a resort collection, wasn't fashionable enough, nor relaxing, nor aromatherapic, nor nice-memory-companion while at a resort. I couldn't understand the linkage with resorts. It's okay, but sadly, forgettable.

Sugary, windy, creamy floral. It is lightweight. Fig is seamlessly blended with frangipani. The scent does not resemble its parts but creates a new quality out of them. It is a skinscent, and barely detectable yet pretty. It is completely different to Elie Saab Le Parfum. It reminds me of Aqua di Gioia, and actually of Gucci Premiere. The strength is like Omnia Paraiba, sheer. It is different to its coral cousin, which is much stronger, closer to the classic and less summer appropriate.

This one is a totaly different spin on the Elie saab perfumes . Its all about the tropical feal IMO . the tiare and fig is realy prominent and tropical , feals like a sunny spot at the see , you can smell the sunscreen of others fresh air and a twist from your fruity drink. Not bad , but not unik and special like i fealt the others where . The bottle is beautiful though and is almost worth to buy just to look at it and dream about the oceans :) but no this one is not for me

I tried this new one 2 times on paper and skin and so far I feel disappointed because it smells so generic and similar to so many other light scent around. Light in notes, but coated with sugar. Fig, frangipani, almond? Where? It smells pleasant but very faint from a close distance. Reading some reviews here describing every note I feel partially anosmic, which I'm usually not! Not offensive but not the flamboyant florals EdP or EdT. Closer to L'Eau Couture.

ضعیفترین کار این برند !!! کارهای قبلی بسیار قوی و سنگین بودن اما انتظار اینچنین رایحه سبک سر و جلفی رو نداشتم از این برند یه رایحه شکری که تو عطرای ارزون قیمت دم دستی موجوده و البته جیغ میزنه خودشو مثل یک کودک لوس به نظرم فقط به کار دخترای تینیجر مدرسه ای میاد البته با این قیمت اصولا اونها هم تهیه نمیکنند تنها نقطه مثبت نت انتهایی عطره که کمی بالغ و خامه ای هست که فکر کنم از شکوفه بادام باشه. در کل تو کارای الی صعب انتخاب آخرم خواهد بود.

I find it in the line of the other Elie Saab, it is a white bright floral, with a hint of citrus, very springlike...I was hoping the fig would come out more, I can hardly detect it...and no frangipani either.. This is basically an orange blossom/Jasmine combination.lively, nice, but nothing new... I kind of expected something more unique... I sent it back, this isn't anything special in my opinion.

Oh,my, I got so excited about this one!!!! And so disappointed when i smelled it! Where is the frangipani?! The fig?!? The other good stuff supposed to make you smell like a beach (or should I say resort) goddess?!? For me, it's an extremely watered down version of Le Parfum Edt in a pretty blue bottle:( if you have no expectations as I did, you'd actually might like it.

I use this perfume for fall. It reminds me of the relaxing time in the resort. It smell like sweet coconut cream and vanilla in very sexy way although coconut not in the notes list The smell of Frangipani also very beatiful and remind of the summer time in tropical country with full of sunshine.

What wrong with my nose!!?? All I smell is coconut like l am wearing Escada perfume or just putted on Victoria Secret body lotion.For this ES I would love it but I can find a cheaper version to buy and save my money for original Le Parfum.

Just a quick note - Boots has this on offer for £31.50 for a 50ml. I've been looking fora it locally, and finally found some. Lucky! Well, I'll add my review very shortly. Have too many samples on at the moment to do it justice.
