Sunflowers Summer Air

A seriously big thunerstorm is coming my way, this summer has been odd, it's saturday evening and I'm trying to calm down my frightness, hopefully a glas of dry whitevine can help me, and repeat on Agnetha Feltskogs (ABBA) "The Heat is On" .... the heat is on .... and, I pour myself with this lovely perfume!! Sunflower is one of my absolute favorite perfumes, that summer when it came to Norway, was absolutely fantastic, and I still wear my white dress witch I bought that year... This Summer Air I bought two years ago because of the osmanthus note, I love osmanthus, and, even thoug you dont love osmanthus as much as I do, you too will love this soft, clean, fresh, and flowery perfume =))

Seriously gorgeous. One of those few and far in between fragrances with not so great performance but that can be forgiven just out of sheer beauty. VERY bitter, GREEN mandarin peel + sweet, lightly peachy osmanthus. That's it. And it's genius. "Summer air" is an apt description. The mandarin is so green and essential-oily that it's almost STINKY, in the same sense that patchouli can be "stinky", sliiiightly cannabinoid. I felt it a little challenging when I first wore it, to be honest, but I quickly got into it. it's opulent in a sense. One of the harder to find sunflower flankers. Unisex-ish, if you believe in that stuff.

A very pretty fragrance for spring/summer/fall. It has that cheerful and uplifting Sunflower DNA, but the wood, musk, and amber notes give it some depth. It reminds me of a good friend, who is usually upbeat and basically a happy person, but isn't a one-dimensional Pollyanna. So... nicely balanced, very wearable, and the price is right to grab it and add it to your collection. Just for fun, and because I had a hunch it would work well, I layered it with Halston Woman. The sunflower plays well with the marigold in Halston and since they both share amber, the double dose amps up the richness and warmth.

This one is a lovely surprise for me; I was searching for something similar for a long time and I’m so glad that now I’ve find it; it's reminding me of sun (obviously!) of summer days and just gives a nice feeling of happiness and joy that instantly makes me smile. In a way smells like Sun from Oriflame - an old fragrance now discontinued that I use to love a lot in the ’90.

It smells cheap - but not really in an unpleasant way. One could never smell this and think 'I'd pay $400' but one could certainly think 'I'd buy this for a lovely, warm evening and not have to think too much'. Fruity, a bit shampoo-like... breezy! For fans of Escada and some of the Calvin Klein fragrances.

Quite nice and pretty. If Sunflowers was a laundry detergent, this is what it would smell like. The Sunflowers dna is there, but in a "clean" way. Very ozonic,then then Sunflowers hits you. Great day to day spring scent, especially considering the price ($10au for 100ml!)

I find this fresh but dated. Sunflowers hasn’t aged as well as Green Tea imo.

Love the ozonic notes added to Morning Gardens' freshness. Both have the sunflower flesh sharp note which makes it irresistible for me as it brings memories of eating crispy seeds. The scent, not great on its own, had something intriguing, accompanying simple afternoon snack of oily, sweet treat. A mix of scents that stayed in my memory long enough to be recovered with a spray. I'd say a very clever way of using it in a perfume - it brings together the citrusy and airy notes with wooden, bitter drydown. Bought it as summer scent, but it works great in spring or autumn. Love the dynamics on my skin, when it starts fresh and sharp, then settles down to a moderate clean breeze. Even if I stop smelling them get, I get compliments from other people. And I can get some of it on shawls after quite some time. Longevity much shorter than Morning Gardens. Love the fresh twist.

It reminded me of summer 1997 when i bought sun and moon perfumes from oriflame. I see a big resemblance in notes and the scents. However I prefer sun and moon a lot more. This one is a bit more ozonic and still smells great.
