GREAT cheapie! This perfume is gorgeous. It's warm, amber-y and resinous with sparkly fruity overtones. It's not dense, heavy or nauseating, which is such a feat considering the notes. Untold absolu has a slight vintage and mature vibe that gives a feel of luxury. It has a classy feel to it. Easy to wear and easy to love. *chefs kiss* I'm thrilled that this was re-released! I even love the minimalistic design of the new bottle. I don't have the old bottle to compare, but it smells the same or very similar from what I remember.

Is it me or is it the vanilla in this one makes it chocolatey??? I get a spiced, hot chocolate note in this one. But it's not gourmand. Thank goodness! It's more of an idea of hot cocoa, than the actual drink. It's definitely a fall/winter fragrance, coz it's cozy and warm. I'm sucker for a good ginger note, but I honestly cannot detect any in this. I still enjoy this, but I can't see this as a signature scent or for daily wear. This is more like a snuggling movie night scent.

I am a big time fan of Fifth Avenue and Red Door. Blind bought this going only by reviews of the earlier original and my love for the above mentioned fragrances. Untold, however, is nondescript. There's nothing here. Very weak and faint.
