Love & White Diamonds

*UPDATE* 5/1/18 I was able to get the holiday gift set from an online retailer for $39. Its still new so that was the best deal I was going to find in order to have all the ET perfumes. Now that I own and have worn this a few times I figure I should update my review as I have a better understanding of what was a confusing scent when I first tested it in the store. The initial blast is pretty stringent. Its all greens and bitter citrus. I guess its the petitgrain and neroli slapping you in the face! Once that dies down in about 3 minutes you get the floral and the sweetness of the gardenia on the cedar/sandalwood base. I really like it! I think its very refreshing. I thought this would be a good summer scent, but I don't think its going to hold up to the heat and humidity of Florida. Ill use the lotion and spray a bit on my clothing if I want to wear it in the summer heat. I don't think this will bloom as well in the cold, so it will probably be best worn in the spring. I do really enjoy the fragrance, and I think its unique and you wont smell like everyone else while wearing this. I wouldn't recommend a blind buy. The opening to me was off putting initially, but now that I know the fragrance I really like it. The bottle is gorgeous! looks so pretty with all my other White Diamonds bottles. I'd say this is a safe bet for anyone who likes green fragrances, citrus, florals and a cedar base. On me the cedar doesn't overtake the fragrance and adds to the depth. *Original Post* I did a trial spray of this on my forearm today while shopping in the mall. I didn't know what to think at first. I felt like I was smelling a sweet flower, almost a honeysuckle all the while also getting a grapefruit tang and white pepper tickle to my nose. I wasn't sure how I felt about it. As I shopped about the day I kept checking back, in the middle for me I was getting a clean white floral, but with a zest. Now that I am at home I'm getting more of the musk/wood with a zesty floral on top. This one defiantly morphs like all ET fragrances do, creating a personality and mood. I had my 17 year old Daughter smell it and she likes it. She didn't think it smelled "old lady". I think you have to give this one a chance and a few wears before you can totally make up your mind if you felt turned off at the initial spray. I defiantly like it. I think its energizing and peppy, but with some sass.

Love & White Diamonds: I always try to give an honest & genuine review of all the Perfumes I have in my vast collection that I wear!! & Wow isn't this also such a real beauty that I was glad to include into my Elizabeth Taylor Perfume Collection!! At First spray I get the most lovely smell of pure fresh Neroli,followed by soft Mandarin Orange & Petie Grain,like a subtle sweetness being carried on a warm summer's evening when your abroad on holiday!! Then enters the most amazing Turkish Rose, with more Tuberose for more added depth!! This is then followed by fresh Gardinia which really seem's to bind this beautiful fragrance together with the added freshness & creamyness of this perfume is just absolutely gorgeous!! Like a warm cozy familiar hug from your loved one or someone very special in your life! The base of this Perfume is deffo Woody with notes of Cedar & Sandalwood followed closely with Musk!! This Perfume wear's exceptional well on my skin in fact a good 10-11 hour's & I just absolutely love the tenderness & calmness it brings with it!! I actually wore this last night going to bed after my shower,& my Husband actually remarked that I smelt absolutely wonderful!! (Not to night Sid) lol'lol'lol & I can honestly say he's really fussy about my Perfume choices etc!! So that's good that he seem's to notice & like it on me!! & I could actually smell it just as strong when I rose to get up!! Again the bottle is absolutely gorgeous & very expensive looking!! Peach coloured glass with beautiful Rose Gold accents add to the pure luxury of the Elizabeth Taylor Perfume Brand!! Again I think that Miss Taylor would be absolutely delighted about the way this perfume has turned out,& remember that Apricot & Peach seemed to play a big part in her Perfume Line!! So the bottle being this colour deffo would surely be a winner for her!! Yet again when I wear this Perfume out I never fail to get lovely compliments & asked what Perfume I'm actually wearing today!! In My Opinion "Love & White Diamonds" is perfectly suited till warmer sunny weather,or a warm Summer night when away on holiday!! Although I will try it also when Autumn/Winter arrive upon us!! This Perfume seems to absolutely blossom to it's max in these kind of scenarios!! (Clammy Heat) Yet again another winner from the House Of Elizabeth Taylor!! & Elizabeth Arden really have done her proud!!

This was actually an impulse buy at a department store on my way out I quickly Google the notes. I was trying to find a nice affordable orange blossom perfume. One that wasn't solely just orange, citrus over the top fruit only. One that was only floral I couldn't smell the orange. Or one that was so blended with so many ingredients it didn't smell like anything else but a non descriptive perfume smell. Or one that smells only like generic not specific citrus. Or one that smells like a tanning lotion. Or one that's just way to masculine. The handful I liked, the orange blossom smell wore off so fast. Anyway you get the idea. The only two orange blossoms I liked were JM. and d'Essences Neroli Yves Rocher. Since I don't typically wear orange blossom perfume but a few times during the warmest weather. (In New England that's maybe 5 times for me). Besides, what I like last summer and this summer. I may not like next summer. So on this one, I really don't want to break the bank. I don't remember much of Elizabeth Taylor's perfumes except for Gardenias which smells like Gardenias and is linear. Is that they were very perfumey type. Strong, headache induces. I personally thought White diamond was awful. Synthetic and tacky. But not for everyone. Because on some women it smelled great. But, I like this one. It does REMIND me of d'Essences Neroli Yves Rocher. Not a dupe or anything. But does remind me of it. The first blast is a bit rough. But it settles down nicely. It's pretty strong and has longevity. It definitely worth the price tag. It doesn't smell like an orange blossom per sè. But it smells like oranges with their green leaves and some flowers. Imagine waking up and having your breakfast on the bedroom balcony over the garden. It's fresh oranges just sliced open. There's a lovely bouquet of white flowers next to the plate. The wind blows, you can smell the oranges, the bouquet and the green leaves of the garden and a little bit of the fine wood the balcony is built. With just enough air to breathe. As the sun shines on your face. That's what this smells like to me.

This is like Sparkling White Diamonds with more warmth, and just add citrus. It's fresh and crisp, in a departure from the recent, more seductive WD Night flanker. Add a little cedar base for a modern, woodsy feel, and exotic Turkish rose for a distinctively formal heart. This was a blind buy for me; $19.99 at the local TJ Maxx outlet. I couldn't open it to test beforehand, and it's not an available tester at any of the other major retailers. But I almost turned as big a cartwheel upon first spray as I did with Violet Eyes. Love & White Diamonds is akin to a luxurious, sparkling mimosa--zesty, refreshing and, quite versatile in wearability. Well worth every cent of the surprisingly affordable sales price, and easier on the nose than some of these reviews argue. Longevity on clothing is roughly 4-6 hours of reliable projection, while on the skin, it's 2-4 hours of loud, sweeping projection, and then basically a neroli/sandalwood skin-scent that radiates less than arm's length beyond 3 1/2 to 4 hours. I'm hooked, though, and when you smell the drydown transformation over the course of the first hour, you'll truly understand the beauty and worldly sophistication of Love & White Diamonds.

I can’t comment on half those notes because IDK what half of them smell like. I do know that White Shoulders is my mom’s signature scent and - as soon as I sprayed this on my skin - as the notes warmed and bloomed, it immediately brought me to White Shoulders. What a beautiful blend. Ever watch, “From Here to Eternity”? When the moon is out in certain scenes and you see the silhouettes of the clouds and you just know there’s a warm breeze over the ocean waves? As soon as I smelled this, my mind went straight to that feeling you get when you watch those moments: relaxed, content, happy, peaceful. I just love Gardenia and I know it’s playing a major role. And all those other notes I know little-to-nothing about are dancing in sweet harmony to create a perfect feminine frag.

Love love love & white diamonds! It’s one of my best motherly scent, I mean, the pretty lovely smelling so good mum, who puts a a little bit of powder, a little bit of lipstick (because she loves to smile) and then the rosy clean wonderful and easy parfume, ready for a a busy day. Maman, you’re smelling nice ! I hope so my love, it wouldn’t be funny a smelly mum, huh? It opens fresh bubbly, clean as an orange blossom shower gel, then a powdery rose rounded by a simple white flowers bouquet. The cedar gives a discreet base. And that’s it. No puzzle. Absolute ease, good feel, good vibe. Good life. A big big plus, hubs loves it too. You’re just smelling so nice. I hope so my love,...

Review in french. Une pure merveille. Un parfum sous estimé. Frais et unique. La rose se marie au néroli à merveille. Il se pose comme un voile de douceur sur votre peau. C'est un parfum doudou "cocon".. le genre de parfum que l'on peut porter pour une promenade en forêt au printemps ou avant de se coucher une nuit d'hiver . Un parfum apaisant. Il y a quelque chose dans ce parfum qui fait penser à l'enfance aussi. C'est un parfum réconfortant. La tenue est sobre mais le jus est exceptionnel. Il fait un peu penser à Jaipur Bracelet de Boucheron avec un peu plus de Pep's. Une version plus niche. Une réussite pour la gamme Elizabeth Taylor.

I brought this fragrance over the summer '22 and didn't really see the beauty of it. I began using it as a room freshener until it had a few sprays left. This morning I decided I was going to use the last of it. I paired it with Bodycology lotion and mist "Peony Blush". Boy o' boy do I feel bad about using L&WD up like that. She was cute today, but I don't think I'd repurchase. I'm getting fresh orange, white flowers, a sprinkle of powder, musk, and a lil cedar. Edit: I repurchased it, but this time in a full bottle. Love & White Diamonds is beautiful ya'll! I'm wearing it right now and I feel so good about myself.

I must concur with Drugstore Classics. Smelled a tester of this at Macy's (of all places). They did not have any available for sale though. There is that White Diamonds smell in the background, but mostly a neroli and suntan oil blend. It's unique and not just a riff on prevailing scents of the day (although neroli is popular). Really like this. It has a metallic smell in the drydown which I enjoy. Some metallic smells are comforting, and this is one of them. Also I like the peach color because it fooled me...I expected this to be peachy like some celebrity scents, but lo, I was wrong.

This was a happy surprise for me! I got it for cheap on poshmark, not really expecting to love it. I was just hoping it would be a like. But it's wonderful! Lots of neroli, which I love. Don't really get the suntan lotion scent part everyone is discussing. Definitely white floral though. But I tend to like white florals. Now I'm super curious about other Elizabeth Taylor frags, of which I've never really given a fair try. (I was a little girl when they were at their most popular.) But this is definitely a very modern scent, not dated smelling in the least. What a win!

I had to change my “like,” into a “love.” My word this is amazing stuff. I was so glad, when I was finally able to buy this in my country, because I have an Elizabeth Taylor-parfume collection. This really does make me think of love and summer...summerlove <3 I recive a lot of compliments when I ́m wearing this parfume. The longevity is about 8 hours and the sillage moderate on my skin, and of course it last longer on my close

What a beautiful and sweet perfume. Much nicer than the original. I can detect coconut in it but it doesn't show in the notes list. I also get orange blossom more than neroli but that isn't listed either. Must just be my chemical composition ;) It is floral and pleasant, I've had compliments for it, certainly no-one has complained when I wear it and at $23 Australian dollars, its a steal.

This is lovely! I think it's most closely related to violet eyes, but with a citrus-woody musk scent. It put me in mind of a cross between violet eyes and Chanel chance eau vive. Very angelic Good projection, longevity is slightly disappointing for an Elizabeth Taylor fragrance, but acceptable nonetheless I'm sure she would approve :)

I love the smell but it wears to light. I’m sad I wish it was more intense!!

If you have worn Light Blue and found that it was too bold and wears too heavy for you - then try this perfume. This doesn't have the aldehydes that are happening in the original White Diamonds and Sparkling White Diamonds - this wears much closer to the skin. This is light, clean, pleasant - may be a great perfume to wear out of the shower before going to bed at night for sweet dreams. This is not so much a perfume that shows any hint of passion or allure, this is sweet and pleasant. If you have worn other Elizabeth Taylor perfumes - this would be like a light sunshine-y warm version of Sparkling White Diamonds - warmed by adding Citrus, a more natural woodsy - Cedar in the base for a modern, woodsy feel - with exotic Turkish Rose. This is less potent and strong than Sparkling White Diamonds because it doesn't have the aldehydes of Sparking White Diamonds. This is a pleasant aroma, a light sunshiny yellow - like the day break version of sunshine. Nothing here that would offend anyone. This may have been a precursor for the Light Blue fragrance line by Dolce and Gabanna. It is much more shy than the Light Blue line, but you can tell that they both have a similar concept. Light Blue is the bolder, more potent version. And Love & White Diamonds is like the softer, less brash (not that Light Blue is too brash, but this is just so much more "quiet") - more romantic version of Light Blue. This is the perfect light perfume - if you work in an office where the policy is to wear a lighter fragrance... or if you have been told to cool it, and not wear such a heavy perfume because someone is sensitive to fragrance in your environment. The silage and projection is minimal -- slightly too light for me, although this could be a fragrance to wear if you are highly sensitive to perfumes, but still want to wear something that is pleasant. I "like" this perfume - but if I were to wear this, I would be respraying this every hour or two, just where it would have more projection and silage. This could easily be used as a room or car spray. Something to refresh the area, without it being so bold that it dominates the area. This is not bold enough for bathroom spray, but may be something to just give a hint of fragrance in other rooms of the house. Pleasant, simple, light sunshine, ageless and timeless - a spring/summer classic

I just recently ordered this and I am testing it for the very first time Now I am actually wearing it and I find it really quite ethereal. It is a beautiful fragrance, but somehow it escapes me. On first spray I get quite a sharp orange neroli citrus scent, but that soon disipates and settles once again on that fresh zingy orangey lemon scent. In fact it is not too disimiliar to a liquid soap I have in my bathroom from Yves Rocher 'olive and Petitgrain'. So the petitgrain, orange flower and neroli are definitely there, but what has happened to the flowers? There is no tuberose (my favourite) no gardenia and no jasmine to my nose. At least not yet. I can feel it starting to settle now. ONly about 20 mins in. I think the gardenia is trying to peek through a bit now, but still no tuberose :(. I do get a lot of musk, and it is a little powdery. It is a very clean laundry perfume. I do like it, but I am somewhat disappointed because I expected more power from an ET fragrance. I was hoping for more of the White Diamonds slap in the face I guess, but it's definitely not that. I believe this is one to revisit on another day. I will edit my review accordingly. It is rather lovely though now that it has gone into the next phase. I will be back! Edit: Now in the drydown and I just realised this reminds me of Estee Lauder Pure White Linen. Beautiful!

I tested this today in Kohls and was most pleasantly surprised! Definitely you will get the European suntan lotion associations, on dry down. Though the coconut note is missing to me, replaced by a quiet musk base. My first and most delighted impression was unsweetened NEROLI and Petigrain! The fresh green and bright variety - nothing candied or orange aid about it. Bright! Then it becomes soft and a tad musky (in a dry, modern way) and a trifle sweet, the green edges rounded off and comfortable. I know other flowers are listed, but to me this is mainly Neroli after the greenish Petigrain subsides. Charming. I can't vouch for sillage and longevity, having only applied one tiny spray, but so far it would seem to be moderate on first application and light throughout the middle and base notes. Not the power house that many vintage Elizabeth Taylors were, but then what is? Most citrus or neroli soliflores are light in essence, their nature by chemical structure. Honestly, the most promising release from the E.T. house in some while. Count me pleased - smells both expensive and very natural. Let us applaud this newest Diamonds release and hope for more of the same quality in future!

I think a tad over hyped but nevertheless, a VERY pretty perfume. I smell all the white flowers at the forefront staight out of the sprayer. Then I smell the mandarin orange and the musk. Pretty straight forward. I find this semi unique yet simple. It's pretty. I smell more of a straight forward white floral perfume with this as opposed to "Sunscreen" vibe like everyone keeps referencing. Anyway, it's very pretty. Easily worth the $20 price tag. It's about time we get a "modern" Elizabeth Taylor perfume. I'm one of those people that hates referencing old age with perfumery but sometimes it's just so blatant in your thoughts and opinion that it's inevitable. And a LOT of ELizabeth Taylor perfumes just smell so....old. SO outdated. I think most of them do actually with the exception of the beautiful "Violet Eyes." This is my super modern Elizabeth Taylor perfume and I'm really happy with it. Deff best suited for spring. Longevity - 5-6 hours. Projection - About 3 feet. Overall Rating - 8/10. Big thumbs up on this creation and to the perfumer(s). I voted above with a "like" but it's a strong like. Especially with the right weather for it.

Love & White Diamonds is a very unique fragrance. This was a very affordable, successful blind-buy for me. Longevity on this fragrance is 7+ hours and the sillage is definitely beastly. Elizabeth Taylor's Love & White Diamonds is a powerhouse! Neroli, mandarin orange, and other white flowers lead the charge to a musky, woody dry down. The notes are blended perfectly to create a fragrance that is highly unusual, and everything but "regular!" To my nose, the original DNA of White Diamonds is most certainly present, but almost subtle. Love & White Diamonds has a mature scent, yet not old lady-ish or dated. It is a very pleasant break from today's gourmands. This is for the woman who rests in her femininity, doesn't mind getting all glammed up, meets deadlines, and is responsible. If a woman is in search for a "signature scent" Love and White Diamonds is an excellent option. In my opinion, Love and White Diamonds will complement a woman at any age. This is not a crowd pleaser! Actually because of the complexity of this fragrance, this is a very unsafe blind buy.

This is wonderful! It brings to mind a blend of Pure Poison and TF eau de soleil blanc. This is the summer frag I have been searching for and it's just wow. I love orange blossom and neroli combos with orange notes so I'm not surprised I love this. I tend to have good luck with white florals sticking around for hours and my skin tends to almost obnoxiously hurl the projection and sillage so I'm actually not worried about the performance in that regard. That said, these are first impressions and will follow up with performance. Absolutely agree HeavyBeatsUK--very sunscreen like, and the musk is clean. The gardenia isn't so prominent but gives a sweet-cream background with the sandalwood; which is nice because gardenia has the tendency to nauseate me. Supremely successful blind buy. Update: So...um...I got six hours before re-applying. I stand by the comparison I made before and this lasts longer than EdSB. SO good!

I have all of ET's frags, so wanted to add this to my collection. I spritzed a tester on in the store years ago when it first came out, and wasn't initially impressed enough to purchase it (it was much more expensive back then). But I decided to retry it and I'm enjoying it more and more by the day. It's starts off as a citrusy, soapy white floral - I don't get tuberose or gardenia so much as jasmine and orange blossom, and a touch of green, fresh rose. It stays pretty linear for a while, but then the cedar and musk gradually develop, which warms and sweetens the mix. It's working wonderfully in this late August mugginess we've been experiencing lately. And it's lasting forever on my skin. I can still smell it on my wrist (albeit faintly) 10+ hours later...and my arm got soaking wet earlier today. So I'm impressed. It's light and inoffensive, but also has some presence. I'm glad I bought it.

Elizabeth Taylor fragrances are some of the LAST of the real perfumes- and what I mean by that is that they have longevity and you experience a full fragrance from top middle to bottom notes- they dance around your aura for many hours and they last all day strongly. So many fragrances these days sing a sing then quit and you get a dry down within an hour and by hour two it’s gone. All these last and do what perfume is supposed to do. I love this one during fall. Simple fresh quietly sexy gorgeous girl fragrance. Very peachy and sparkly with that glamorous oomph that perfumes are supposed to have.

It's a quality fragrance, one that's somehow at odds with the playful, somewhat youthful packaging. This fragrance is quite sophisticated and classy, definitely a reminder of a time gone by. For me, the neroli is the dominant note, and it lasts, the musk and Jasmine notes also linger on. It's very well blended. I adore tuberose, but couldn't really detect any here. Longevity is very good, sillage is moderate, it's an uplifting, almost sunny fragrance. A hint of the original, but nothing more, it's a very worthy flanker.

summer test, humid, skin test. you have to get over the opening, that first minute. this is a gentle but strong fuzzy woody fresh, with plant stems and citrus pith. the notes mentioned are not the clear sort nor are they a direct realistic example of the notes. fresh, woody (not real wood) gentle, green stems, ozonic, it lasts very well fresh yet not angular, a touch dry so there could be ... not sure, soemthing around the edges, a little metallic too.

Wow, it's surprising to see a new release 'by' Elizabeth Taylor... given the obvious. It does look like a lovely fragrance but putting her name to it, even though she had nothing to do with it's creation seems like a bit of a cash grab by Elizabeth Arden. Unless Elizabeth Taylor came up with the concept for the fragrance before she died. Or a relative trying to honour her memory or something. Lol, I'm being cynical I know. Never-mind me..

Horrible opening I think, metallic, sharp, synthetic... It softens into quite a nice gentle citrus floral, warms up, has some depth, yeH narcotic, its not as fresh or potent as the one in the black bottle. The florals aren't floral, they are supporting notes. Yep good, summer test by the way which seems to suit this better

Second test, summer humid, two sprays inner elbow Initial: quiet compared to white diamonds night, very different. This is light all over but lasts well, it’s cool, metallic, zingy with citrus smells, soft but bright. Later: bright, cool, softly zingy - citrus/woods? Fresh, though not the green sort.

Cold neroli-heavy tea scent, very much like a pink ice princess. Jasmine is soft and very clean, and the orange is a bit bitter too. Perfect in the spring and summer, you'd feel fresh and clean. Colder months would make this smell like an analgesic, off-putting.

Very neroli-forward, as others noted. Lightly sweet, lots of citrus up top & musky dry-down. Very ladylike and pretty. Neroli can be hit or miss for me and can unfortunately also be headache inducing. This is not one of those, happily! Fresh fresh fresh.

Today, I made a day out of fragrance sniffing to celebrate my first day out since our mask mandate was lifted (again). Kohl's had a tester out, and since there was a free White Diamonds mini included with your purchase, I had to give it a try. I don't have any personal experience with Elizabeth Taylor scents even though I am old enough to remember when they were new. In my mind's eye, they were all too mature for me and beast mode strong, but now that I am "old" and have been revisiting scents from my youth, especially the potent ones, the pretty packaging and free extra bottle beckoned. My first sniff resulted in a first spritz, and I was immediately transported back in time to being in our living room when my mother was spraying Lemon Pledge all over our furniture. This was a good memory. Mom is long gone, I can't remember the last time I smelled Lemon Pledge, and I found the scent delightful. I played with a bunch of other scents, tried to find the spot on my wrist where I sprayed this to smell it again, and it was GONE. I blamed the Angel I sprayed on my hand for overpowering it because surely an Elizabeth Taylor fragrance would not pull a vanishing act. I sprayed it again on my jacket and really enjoyed the the nostalgic Lemon Pledge smell again. Next, I went to admire a few purses, and less than twenty minutes later, the scent was completely gone again. Obviously, I did not purchase it. It did, however, make the fleeting top citrus note in my Chanel no. 5 L'eau seem long lasting in comparison, and it also encouraged me do some dusting when I got home. :) I don't currently have any Lemon Pledge in my house, but you can bet I will be putting it on my grocery list. While I truly enjoyed the first few minutes of this fragrance, I just can't recommend it.

I blind bought this one, because it was like, five bucks on sale, and I really love Sparkling White Diamonds. I was hoping, of course, that they smelled similar, or at least I'd luck out and really like this but alas, no. I do like all the notes on paper, but put together like this, it boils down to "okay." Meh, in other words.

I tested this today. So far, I haave had it in for a few hours. I like it but I don’t llove it. I adore the OG White Diamonds, and most of the flankers. Love & White Diamonds is a musky, citrus based fragrance, as others have said. I’m not getting very many white flowers. It’s actually a little screechy to me, even in the drydown. I think it could be something I would like if the citrus was a little smoother and the florals a little more prominent, but that’s just a personal preference. It is a well-done perfume, with quality composition, it’s just not my style. Definitely worth a test, though.

I acquired this newest ET fragrance through a friend from UK, it's only 19GBP over there, I could have waited at least a year until it's sold here (Hungary). Packaging is very nice, pinkish frosty bottle with the usual letter desing, rose gold cap, vey ladylike. Upon first spray I can detect a strong neroli blast with some citrus. This phase is fresh but a little bit harsh to my nose somewhat sour, a tiny bit disturbing. The neroli accord settles down in about 15 minutes but stays present throughout the day in the background. Then the white flowers unveil their beauty and this phase reminds me a bit of Bluemarine Innamorata perfume. Slightly sweet, fresh mediterrenian bouquet, very feminine, well balanced, never overpowering. Although it's not a strong perfume, stays all day long on my skin with moderate sillage. I personally don't really smell the drydown, those notes somehow are together with the flowers in the middle. I'm really happy that this completes my ET collection, this is really a type of scent that the collection misses although, in my opinion not really a refined composition, I could have imagined something more bold, more flowery or something with a twist from the Arden house. It seems to me that the latest three scents (Lustre, Night and Love) tend to stay the "safe" side, don't get me wrong, they are great but I miss the greatness, deepness and complexity of their predesessors. Nevertheless Love and White Diamonds is subtle, feminine, fresh flowery choice for Elizabeth perfume lovers. You probably won't be dissapointed, perfect for spring and summer. :-)

I have to start off by saying that I have every Elizabeth Taylor perfume including White Diamonds 15th Anniversary that came out 11 years out. Love & White Diamonds isn't my favorite perfume of the Elizabeth Taylor brand, and I know she would be proud of this perfume. I will say this is the best floral perfume, I have ever owned, and I have way more perfume than I should. Trust me if you like floral perfumes, but don't want something " too heavy " than Love & White Diamonds is for you. I love this perfume so much that I bought another bottle. I once used a whole 100ml of perfume before in just a month, because I sprayed it everywhere, and Love & White Diamonds to me personally is that kind of perfume. It's the perfect floral bouquet, beach gardenia, not too over powering perfect for spring, and summer. The sprayer on this perfume is like a mist. I highly recommend this perfume. I have to add my favorite three perfumes by her are, Forever Elizabeth, Violet Eyes, and White Diamonds Night, number four is Love & White Diamonds. I will update my review on longevity when I have wore this perfume enough. The silage is great around arms length.

I never knew about this until I saw it in a Shoppers Drug Mart (Canada) today. Very curious, I immediately sprayed a quick two sprays on my wrist and immediately did not like it, thinking this is weird. Putting it out of my mind. However, driving home, I got whiffs of something pleasantly orange and musky, powdery even, i realized it was the ET that I had tested half an hour ago. Still two hours later it's going strong, after doing dishes and washing my handds. This stuff is tenacious, and on me, not much is. I'm going to test this again a few more times. If I still like it and it lasts like this, i just might pick this up. Still looking for White Diamonds Night. Supposedly that came out last year also but I still haven't seen it yet. Edit - had the chance to try the WDN - my verdict is Nope! Very bitter and weak! Still planning to get L&WD though. Apparently Shopper's will let me use their 20 percent every Thursday for over 55 discount for this (for all their fragrances!) so it'll be a bit more affordable. I haven't seen it in any other store yet.

At the beginning of my fragrance journey in 2013 - Yves Rocher Neroli was one of my early purchases. I liked it enough- then moved on. It was a "candied Neroli" but light and fleeting . (NEST makes a Neroli "soul & body" spray that is similar - Neroli hard candy!) Somehow; Love & White Diamonds never turned up on "the goop racks" ; Marshalls / T.J. Maxx -- back then. I pretty much tried every single Elizabeth Taylor fragrance at that point. So I did a "blind buy" (online) with this and so far I like it a lot and MORESO than the Yves Rocher . It's a bit more zesty and the longevity is better (but by no means - STRONG). I'm gonna let the bottle "sit" and see if any of the other white flowers come thru. I have a feeling that they MAY have used REAL neroli in this as my small 30 ML. bottle was about the price of most of the others in the line @ 3.4OZ . Neroli is expensive. This is very sweet and pretty ; great for summer and good as a "first gift" to a young lady as her "first real perfume" . Office friendly / Job Interview friendly .

I really like the original White Diamonds, but it can be tricky and difficult to wear , so i was so excited when i saw this . Bought it immediately and unsniffed. Huge mistake. When people say a fragrance can be nauseating or make them sick, or that it Can be migraine inducing, i Always thought to my self that they were being to dramatic and delicate and sensitive . Well long story short: today i learned that a fragrance CAN make your stomach turn and give you an instant migraine ! From this ! It might be great for others, but on my the neroli and petitgrain overdose in its beginning almost killed me. Tried to be patient , but had to scrub it off after 10 minutes. After a scrub, i Can still smell and almost taste it ! So at least a positive thing that it project Well and has great lasting power . Bottle is so pretty . But the scent it self: no way, not for me. Hope it can make others happy :)

Surprisingly peppery and powdery at the beginning and this never fades fully, giving off wafts of “motel lobby.” Then various orange notes start to come through and it gets nicer at this stage. I love petitgrain and it’s given a place of prominence here that I appreciate. Soon it smells like the kind of bar of soap my grandma would have by her sink. I was always tempted to think of those soaps as an old-fashioned, no-nonsense cleaning product but, then again, they were perfumed and likely with ingredients of some quality. This perfume is challenging for me to wear but also comforting and nostalgic, evocative of things that are pleasant, unflashy, and real.

I recently ordered this untested, as I was curious and it wasn't expensive. I probably like the pretty bottle more than anything else about it. Although it isn't something I wear a lot, I've always been fine with the original White Diamonds. It is long lasting, smells more expensive than it is, and gets me compliments. This newest White Diamonds offering is disappointing. It smells a combination of cheap and harsh when first sprayed, and once it settles down, it doesn't last long at all. Not one compliment while wearing it, and people are ALWAYS saying I smell good. But then I usually wear Estee Lauder fragrances or something of that quality.

This is very pretty! I blind bought at Burlington, got out to my car, opened and sprayed ( I know, I’m a lunatic!) and said ew, ew, ew! Got out of the car and by the time I stood outside it had changed so quickly into this sweet orangey tuberose goodness! It was a breezy day that day and the scent swirled around me and it was heaven! I wish it lasted longer but I don’t mind respraying at all. I have no clue why that first spray grossed out, but so glad it didn’t last. I’ve never tried the original, but very curious now to try more ET fragrances.

Not a huge fan of Elizabeth Taylor but the bottle attracted me...real pretty, frosty pink bottle..the scent is a bright floral, with punch, this has character and I was pleasantly surprised..I have no idea what the other White Diamonds smell like, but this one is well done...feminine, grown up..I detect the mandarin, the gardenia, a hint of neroli..I tried it real fast, so this is a first impression..but I must say I like it,.not opposed to get a bottle...once smaller sizes get available..this is floral, in a fresh bold way..

I get neroli, lots and lots of it. The rest of the notes pale in comparison. If you love neroli, this is for you. I’m just happy my bottle is 1oz and not bigger. I don’t hate it but certainly will have to layer it with something. Edit: I am liking this perfume when I’m mixing it in a refillable bottle with other perfumes! It adds a fresh clean touch to other perfumes. It also takes away the “suffocating sweetness” from some perfumes and I find that very useful so I’ll probably repurchase it.

I have never worn this line because, lovely as some of them are, they are too retro on me for my lifestyle. This one is no exception. The opening is fresh, grapefuity and light white flowers. So far so good. However, within 20 minutes it morphed into a very heavy tuberrose, musk drydown and stayed there. On me, one spray provided projection and longevity. Cloying rather than interesting. If I' m going for a somewhat retro white flowers explerience I will stick to Alfred Sung. Much classier!

Pretty--pretty--pretty--fresh--clean--young--a bit beachy--and DAMN it reminds me of something I love--and looking at the "reminds me of's"--it's the Jessica MClintock Brilliance!! I have a lot of Ms Taylor's scents and like them a lot--burned through a bottle of Violet Eyes in a flash--(D&G LB flanker for sure!!) And I see the same thing happening here. Wonderful neroli on top and hidden tuberose in the heart--cedar freshness on the base--best summer scent find so far this year!!

Stumbled across this at my local pharmacy today and gave it a little spritz. I wasn't overly impressed at first but then after a few minutes it settled down and I couldn't stop sniffing the back of my hand! I couldn't put my finger on it immediately, but it reminded me so much of something else. I think that something else is L'occitane Cherry Blossom. I would say this is smoother though.

I wonder if this has been reformulated because it is nowhere nearly as long lasting as it was when I tested it about two years ago. I just bought this last week and I have to spray profusely and often just to keep smelling it. Kind of disappointing. I like it but I probably would not have bought it if I'd known it was now quite weak in the sillage and lonegevity department.

This is very pretty! I agree completely with the people that get classy sunscreen vibes; like the kind you would use while at an exclusive beach resort in the Mediterranean (I can dream!!). It’s summery and sunscreeny with zero coconut. I see the comparison to Bobbi Brown Beach, and I also think it’s in a similar vein as D&G Light Blue Sun. This exceeded my expectations.

I agree this is a cool, almost metallic citrusy floral. When I get whiffs from the air around myself I get that ultra-fresh feeling but when smelling really close to my skin (wrsit) I get the hidden warmth and tropical features of this perfume. It's not loud, but not really a skin scent either, but very longlasting, you will probably smell this all day.

God, the opening of Love & White Diamonds is pungent! An overdose of petitgrain, neroli and mandarin rind with a very tart astringent quality that is almost insufferable. If you give it time to settle, however, you are left with a very pretty jasmine & orange blossom combo... I just don't know if it's worth enduring that opening for.
