The top has this citrus-ish scent, but it disappears in a matter of minutes and you're left with pure, calming, pretty lavender that greets you as fast as it vanishes. Okay, it's pretty and afforadable but also the fastest vanishing fragrance I have ever come across! It's not easy to find pure lavender (mostly lavender & vanilla or lavender & cirtus), and I was so happy to find this, yet I foud nothing because it doesn't even last long enough for me to walk out the door. Pretty much air in a bottle. Why? :(

You just can't get a more pure and natural lavender. This is similar to the scent of lavender water, but it's not watery or weak in any way. It's a high-quality lavender soliflore--a classic for any fine lady--or man perhaps!

Like all of Elizabeth W's perfumes, this one is a soliflore. That being said, it's a beautiful, clean, fresh, true-to-life one. For a simple and lasting lavender perfume, this is a great choice!

Lavender, pure and simple. This is a true herb-y lavender that you would be used to from essential oils and dried lavender flowers. It does not resemble the fake lavender breeze scent that may come out of a purple spray can. Unfortunately this doesn't go well with my body chemistry so it smells like BO on me if I wear it during the day.

Bought this as a blind buy. It reminds me of Lavendar oil being massaged into your body at a spa. Extremely relaxing, lavendar, herbal scent with a wood base, its a very fresh scent. Reminds me of sitting on the patio deck on a spring day. I very much enjoy it.
