Lettre de Pushkar

I have a sample of this perfume. It lasts between 8 or 9 hours but it will still leave us a layer flush with the skin of aroma. Medium-high intensity of perfume for the first hour and then remains in a medium hue. It is a perfume in which the main character is vanilla, in which it is a little risque in tone, but a vanilla that comes in a tone with slight oriental traces, precisely thanks to spices, woods that have at the beginning almost seems a vanilla. flushed, as if it had a small trace of liquor, it is vanilla which becomes intoxicating because that first or that first moment of sniffing it, feeling it, fills your nose and you say 'wow ... impressive, in a matter of course that you like vanilla but it is not a cloying vanilla because from the beginning that tinted tone that I am telling you makes it very like a shot of vanilla liqueur, just like that, little by little you can feel like that character of nutmeg, cinnamon or when time goes by you will feel how this vanilla becomes a little less sweet and those spices begin to give it body, also the woody notes are important in this perfume but they come as an accompanying part. Always adding vanilla and little by little we can feel like this vanilla, as if it were very natural before making dessert, we find it almost like vanilla when it is still in the pod, in the last traces of this perfume as I tell you they go turning into a slightly woody amber, with traces of vanilla and that is the aroma that will remain perfuming our skin even longer after we can say that the perfume has finished, it will remain like that trace on the skin of that aroma, it becomes extremely delicious, a part of a vanilla, with a very special character. Unisex? perfectly, its spicy vanilla can be liked by everyone. Particular? basically you have to take into account the shades of vanilla and spices to know if this perfume is for you or not.

A sweet, almost gourmand, rose that kind of reminds me of an indian dessert. The sweetness is not too much. Honestly, I have so many rose fragrances. After, I got Rose de Pushkar, I was curious about Lettre de Pushkar, so I blind brought it after seeing the notes and some reviews online. They are not similar. Both Rose de Pushkar and Lettre de Pushkar are my favourite rose perfumes. I also wanted to mention that I have Thameen Peregrina and that is really harsh on my skin. I feel like the saffron note in that smells sharp. I also dislike the musk that comes out towards the end. I personally find Lettre de Pushkar way better blended and really smooth. None of the notes are jarring. The saffron just blends in and the overall effect is a pleasant dessert like feeling. Just a really nice experience wearing it. :) Price wise, this is a bit on the expensive side for me, but I don't regret buying it. Edit: I can smell the perfume after shower and moisturising, so great lasting power.

opens with a VERY strong, VERY jammy rose, almost sickeningly so. literally, like if someone was cooking rose jam in the room - i actually strongly dislike the scent of cooking jam, so this is not pleasant to me. this falls away after about an hour to give a gorgeous mixture of rose and warm spices. there's no sharp spice component to this at all, it's very warm and enveloping, which i enjoy a lot. it's very very luxurious, especially for the first few hours - it feels like it would be fitting for a princess or a woman adorned in colourful fabrics and gold jewellery. after a few hours it becomes more comforting and warming. definitely a perfume with a strong character of its own, i'm not sure i personally live up to it but it smells absolutely incredible lasts about 6-8 hours on skin before the rose completely falls off and you're left with some lingering spices. lasts longer on clothes

This might just be the most beautiful amber-sweet rose I’ve encountered. There’s a lot of rubbery saffron in the background, adding a leathery nuance to the whole scent. The vanilla, creamy sandalwood, and spicy nutmeg create an exquisite harmony—truly gorgeous. Although it leans more toward an amber perfume than a rose, the rose is still present, giving body and texture to the entire fragrance. This is what I wished all those intensely sweet rose perfumes (looking at you, Oud Satin Mood) would be—absolutely wonderful. I even detect a hint of oud in the background, though it’s not entirely clear. Sonia Constant did a marvelous job with this creation. It feels like an "upscaled designer" fragrance, reminiscent of Maison Francis Kurkdjian, but Sonia elevated it to something that feels truly luxurious. It’s like soft velvet brushing against your skin. I love it.

I LOVE this one. Lettre de Pushkar is one of those fragrances that smell nothing like the listed notes. The first thing I pick up on is a slightly tangy fruitiness backed with a subtle dusting of oud. I do not get much rose in this at all. I think the rose notes have been blended perfectly to smell fruity and delectable. There is a certain tartness that endures throughout the wear and the overall effect is something reminiscent of pomegranates! Sweet, tangy, delectable pomegranate. Like the juice, this perfume smells ruby red (if that makes sense). I think this fragrance is in a league of its own and incredibly underrated. Why is no one talking about her? She's a beauty. If had to compare this, it's a bit like Delina Exclusif but with fruity notes instead of rose. Hopefully that helps.

Wow! Lettre de Pushkar is stunning! It’s incredibly airy, luminous, and cocooning. It creates a sublime scent bubble that feels intimate yet radiant, like beauty suspended gently around you. It boosts off the skin in such a magical way. I’m not a huge fan of rose-forward fragrances but this one is simply heavenly. The metallic note works beautifully too, lending a modern, sophisticated edge to this oh-so gorgeous fragrance. A++++ P.s. I sometimes have issues with saffron - it can really spoil a perfume for me, but i don’t experience that with this one.

This is a very nice resinous inoffensive and pleasant rose oud. As a guy I have to admit it leans feminine, but I enjoy it too much to really care. A lot of people don't really pick up oud, but I find it prominent especially in the drydown. It's not an animalic dirty oud tho, very clean and woody. It has a nice warm spice to it that also makes it more interesting than your typical rose ouds. I bought a full bottle of this and poeme de sagano, I seem to really enjoy Sonia Constant's work, as over half of my collection is now from her creations.

I genuinely don’t understand why Lettre de Pushkar isn’t talked about more. It definitely transforms depending on the temperature. In colder weather, it turns into a balsamic vanilla + rose water. But in the heat flips the entire profile. It blooms into a glowing and slightly syrupy, vanilla + orange blossom. Performance is impressive. It lingers on skin for hours and clings to clothing for days. This is the kind of fragrance that quietly becomes a signature.

I get the hype, this is good! It’s feminine, but I don’t really care, I’d still wear it regardless. It’s spicy, floral and sweet, I don’t really get much wood from this, and I prefer this to Oud Satin Mood. It reminds me of Givenchy’s Irresistible Nude Velvet, though they’re not the same. I used to hate fragrances with rose, but I guess I’m in my floral era now. Scent: 9.5/10 Projection: 8.5/10 Longevity: 8/10

Omg after long time i have smelld something which is very smooth and verry well blended, supperb work done by perfumer ,transition between notes is such a smooth and i can detect almost every notes in it wow this is one of few which i have came accros that is blended to perfection, also one of few that i liked which jermy fragrance recommend and this is one of them definitely trying more from this brand.

Fresh rosy honeycomb, the kind that flows, dark‐golden and gleaming, onto toast or into a cup of tea. Mmmmm! Update: This has become one of my favourite scents this winter. It may come across as too sweet or apple‐dessert‐like to others, but for me the opening is pure bliss. I just can’t stop smelling it. The drydown is the only stage I’m a little less fond of compared to the stunning opening.

This is definitely one of my favorite perfumes! It was at the top of my wishlist for months. I kept getting samples from Scent Bar, and I finally decided to make the purchase. The notes in Pushkar blend together beautifully, and it lasts a long time on my skin— even longer on my clothes. Love Sonia Constant. Ella K is quickly becoming my favorite fragrance house!

It’s a very eastern scent in the best way- extremely well blended spieces with a touch of rose and lots of amber. A must have for colder mounths! I’m boring most of the overhyped niches-this is a fresh and new direction for me! I wanted to buy a Xerjoff Bouquet Ideale bit this is much more better for my taste.

Beautiful perfume from Sonia Constant ! Super elegant, bit feminine but incredibly sexy. The rose is not too dominent like in Rose de Pushkar , it's more an ambery vanillic on my skin. Decent performance. Suitable for each season but perfect for a date night near a fireplace !

This is the first time I’ve ever smelled an Ella K Perfume and I’m in love with Lettre de Pushkar. It is so addicting with gorgeous rose and saffron combined together. I will definitely add this to my collection if a find a perfect discount price on it.

I’m usually not a big fan of spicy fragrances, but this one is absolutely beautiful. It’s elegant, incredibly well-balanced and high quality. Simply a masterpiece

Gorgeous scent!!! Delicious!! The dry down is very reminiscent of Donna Karan’s Cashmere and Palo Santo, but a bit sweeter, a bit less woody. Love it!!!

One of the most underrated fragrance its so beautiful and well balanced nutmage and safron are so beautifully done with Vanilla touch wow wow wow 10/10

Outstanding within the genre. Gorgeous. Perfectly blended. Great projection and longevity.

Reminds me of some of the big Florientals from the 80s, but much gentler. Opens up with almost a gourmand rose, with vanilla and cinnamon coming in strong. Verges on being too sweet, almost cloying, but doesn’t cross that line and backs down from it fast as after an hour the amber starts to overpower the gourmand elements and it becomes more of a an ambery rose type of thing. Doesn’t smell particularly different or unique but is well blended. The wood comes through in the dry down, and at this stage it becomes more unisex although I do find it initially leans quite feminine. This is more from the sweetness than any overt florality. It has strong longevity lasting 8 hours and good sillage, people will smell this on you. To me this is definitely a fall and winter fragrance. Overall I think it’s a well done fragrance but it doesn’t really give me that “wow “ factor. Edit- I rated this as just ok when I first tested it but I came back to it months later and my perception has changed. At that time I was looking at both rose and amber fragrances and this didn’t really stand out to me in either category. But that’s because it is so well blended, it’s it’s own thing. This is smooth, warm, sophisticated, pretty and easy to wear in cold weather. As noted before it has enormous longevity.

Ella K does not disappoint yet again. Gorgeous sweetened, resinous, amber-y rose. The sweetness is not sugary, syrupy or cloying in any way. Seems slightly fruity. Vanilla is not dusty or candy-like in here. It has volume and somehow smells rounded. I wish this had a bit more strength as I had to spray quite a few times to even catch some wisps from my hand. If you are wondering, it doesn't smell heavy, so could be an option for those who usually find other rose-amber-vanilla combinations somehow too much.

I was on the fence about it at first. Not a safe blind buy. But it is growing one me for sure. I think it is beautiful. Strong but light and airy at the same time. This is for special occasion. I feel attractive, sexy and strong wearing this scent. It takes some time getting used to it, so I wonder how would it be for someone who is not so much into fragrances. Overall strong like. From this rose-oud combination I like this better than Scherzo by Miller Harris.

Very sweet Oriental scent with bright saffron and amber. But really beautiful and balanced. Rose is soft and pretty here, almost gourmand (think rose jam). Fruit jam and rose through and through with light spice and vanilla. Very pretty and modern rose jam . Nothing beats Peregrina for me though lol 2 hours in, and the saffron becomes rubbery ...

Opens up as sweet sweet ripe juicy apricots, drydown is spicy woody rose as in Etat Libre D'orange Spice Must Flow plus light fruitiness :)

Cherry_darling is right. I sensed a bit of tea, and I came to this page to see who else does it. In a way, it does smell like streets of India, and from all cities I’d pick Chandigarh, because it has larger streets, full of roses. It is as if I walk along the city center, and from an Indian tea shop it smells of a chai latte and rose tea. Two hours later, the chai latte becomes a fruity tea, a bit tangy. It is calm, delicate, yet persistent and definitive - nothing intoxicating, as they say in the presentation above. It stays the same for 20 hours, and keeps going, delicate and fruity ambery sandal sawdust. It doesn’t shout. It is bland and unassuming. Safe for office, safe all year round. Maybe not so much on a scorching summer’s day, though.

It smells nothing like the notes because the perfumer desperately wanted the fragrance(s) to fit the oriental theme. This is a mass-appealing designer fragrance, wearing niche garment — designer-ish scent adapted to become a niche. And that designer scent is...*drum roll*... JPG La Belle (co-created by the same perfumer, launched a year later). Well, it even projects similarly to La Belle and shares airy and volatile qualities in common (definitely IsoE). The texture is more like pepper and nutmeg without a nutty aspect because that sweet DNA takes over it. Don’t get much of saffron or amber. Opens with syrupy ripe pear mixed with fizzy red fruits, vanilla bomb, jammy rose, a tinge of designer tuberose (like in L’Interdit), spices mentioned, and westernised synthetic oud accord, which dissipates later. Drydown is when it takes off the garment, left with La Belle without that vetiver oomph and aquatic quality. Not even close to Peregrina or Scherzo... And >£200 is too expensive for what it is.

This is a difficult one for me. The rubbery, leathery saffron accord and strong nutmeg overwhelm everything else upon spraying. The rubberiness reminds me of everything I dislike about BR540. It's really hard to discern the floral notes, though it could just be the way it sits on my skin. As it settles I do get a hint of jammy rose but my nose struggles to find it, as it's drowning is a sea of rubber, oud, and cypriol. Such a shame because I expected to like this from the notes.

I bought a sample of this, but all in all it's a bit too sincere for me I'm afraid. It's not too bad, but there is someting biting, ungentle somewhere in there. It's not playful, too much like cologne. Is this leather, tobacco?

Rose jam which turns plasticky. The woods are nowhere to be seen, this scent is literally like a plastic rose-scented sheath over slightly melted candy. Overpowering and lacking nuance. Lasts 8-10 hours.

Another one of those harsh rose ouds that I can not wear but insist on trying... Lasting power is great, 10h.

It's not a blind-buy safe fragrance, despite being raved by so many influencers. For those who do not get along with oud, please test it first. It is that typical rose-oud combo, but done in a refined, clever and romantic way. The opening is dominated by the juicy jammy rose, with a resinous touch. A picture of fully bloomed red/pink roses immediately popped in my head. The smell is so rich and intoxicating! The juiciness is not tart like, but more like fresh petals that are full of liquid. The oud is at the background, providing the depth. I'd like to get a bottle if this part plays the main role. However, as the scent develops, it gets dryer and dustier. The rose is moving towards the backseat, while the oud is getting prominent, which usually leaves a dusty smell on my skin, which I'm not fond of. It's not the animalic type of oud, but it's always there if you are sensitive to its presence like I am. I really want to love this beautiful creation, including the simplicity of the bottle and the irresistible juice colour, but the oud unfortunately didn't work out for me. It gets compared to Scherzo, maybe. I've only smelt it once and was not impressed at all, but I really love the first half stage of Lettre de Pushkar. I genuinely appreciate the artwork of this beauty. I do own a few rose & oud scents, but I only love Oud Satin Mood from the start to finish. Nevertheless, I still think Lettre de Pushkar worth the hype:)

This smells like when an enigmatic arabic lady in a burqa passes you by at Harrods, just her piercing, deep eyes peeking out at the perfume ailse, where a million scents are floating around, but you still smell her perfume. Definitely oud in there, not listed in the pyramid but listed on the notes. It's a deep, rich, musky, oudy, oriental, exiotic rosey smell that leaves an impact and makes you seek out what she's wearing. I definitely need one of these types of scents, they leave an impact. Feminine but striking and intoxicating scent. I smell some tea notes in there..very high quality, I do know there are a few of these types of scents though, I shall have to investigate and sample them all! With regards to oud bouquet comparison: OB is pretty medicinal compared to this. There the oud and saffron really give it a bitter feel, this is smooth and sweet, feminine and floral all the way. The oud is low key but present.

LOVE this fragrance. She's elegant and luxurious, sapiently crafted, high end. Incredibly unapologetic, bold, feminine, sensual and full of character. It's a magic warm potion that intrigues you and enchants you. I do not love Rose predominant fragrances at all usually, but this one, it's a proper magic spell. Saffron intervenes in the conversation but balanced and as an undertone, earthy , leathery, slightly sweetened and honeyed. It's feminine, sensual, firey with a sweetness than engorges you. Definitely a signature scent for bold, strong women. There is nothing timid here. As a movie it would be " Only Lovers Left Alive" the story of two Vampires that keep reincarnating in different lives as eternal lovers. This Fragrance is a wild night of passion, or the love of a lifetime that finds you again and again in different lifetimes in the future indeed. Impossible to forget..

This is not far from "MÉLODIE D'ALTAI" but extra nutmeg, extra saffron, and extra Roses. The extra is the sour note that presents India as the creator wrote: "A languorous ode to desire. The power of the dreamlike, heady fragrances of India. All the riches of spices, saffron, nutmeg, cinnamon and all the generosity of precious woods, vetiver, patchouli and Oud set a luxuriant armful of flamboyant roses alight. Shrouded in voluptuousness, the senses are aroused in this amber vanilla fire." I do see what the creator want us to see and I believe it's quite amusing and slightly erotic. Also I can see the similarity with "Mohur" by Neela Vermeire with that sour almond amber roses. Interesting.

Wow! this is beautiful. This is a spiced, jammy, earthy and sexy rose, sweetened with some sugar, spices and Vanilla. This is like Lancome Oud Bouquet and Roses Berberanza sanitized and perfectioned...without any offensive dirty oud notes. This is a wonderful, super intense spicy rose that is perfectly enjoyable without annoying oudy, moldy notes. If this have Oud it has to be a very tiny amount and not the barnyard skanky type that I hate so much... The drydown has a sweeter demeanor, and reminds me a bit of Hibiscus Mahajad.

Testing this one on paper. It is a jammy, super sweet rose. It reminds me of the kind of exoticism found in YSL's Opium and Opium Pour Homme, in that it is spiced and also very sweet. However, I don't get the dry, saffron, oud-inflected Middle Eastern vibe I expected of a contemporary perfume with these notes. Instead, I get more of a Christmas, mulled wine effect. In the opening, I detect a strong raspberry/fruity note as well. Smells high quality, but not really a scent profile I enjoy.

Oh another stunner from this house. Actually, i could buy any fragrance blindly from ELLA K. This one is a west-meets east wamr spicy syrupy rose with an ambery base. Its a thick sweet fruity syrupy rose with a contrast from a dry spicy nutmeg and cinnamon. Its a sensual and inviting rose that you would fall in love with if you love syrupy sweet rose but woody and warm spicy at the same time that has a slight DNA of turkish delight. A MUST HAVE!!! Its on my wish list.....

Why isn’t patchouli listed in the notes? The gorgeous patch in the drydown is the dominant note along with vanilla and amber. So lovely! I get the folks who reference Peregrina because it’s a similar slightly powdery airy rose, but the rose in Lettre is much smoother (while it dominates in Peregrina and was too much for me)

Warm, comforting and a little spicy. Definitely unisex if anything leans a little on the masculine side imo. To my nose this is a spicy rose. I don't pick up the orange blossom at all. The saffron, nutmeg rose and musk are the dominant notes to me. Well blended. Very suitable for autumn/ winter

This is a strong, smooth jammy rose oud fragrance. It's bolder than Thameen Peregrina, less headache-inducing than Miller Harris Scherzo, but it is not as sweet and gorgeous as Oud Satin Mood or L'Extase Rose Absolue. When it comes to this family of fragrance, L'Extase Rose Absolue wins for me.

Balsamic, warm fragrance. Very similar to Memo Lalibela (which I love) but there's something synthetic about its sweetness. 4/5

A very niche amber rose but Saffron as always ruins it for me:(
