Rose de Pushkar

This is an exotic rose centric fragrance with a sharp and spicy edge, to be worn when one wants to feel sensual, sexy, or simply pretty... With a little extra something. The rose itself is so stunning here, absolutely stunning! lush and deep, very much a realistic and high quality ingredient, which perfectly captures the citrus, fruity and floral green quality of an actual rose. The pepper and oud used really bring out the deepest parts of the rose scent profile, elevating it beyond what is often smelled in such types of scents. There is patchouli in this, of course. Patchouli being such a common pairing with rose in perfumery, since it plays so well together. However, this is not a rose-patchouli fragrance. Not at all. Instead, 'Rose de Pushkar' is more a rose-oud and spice type scent. Unisex, but leaning somewhat masculine even (despite the more feminine colour of the liquid and bottle design overall). I think the addition of the spices used in this one really give it a unique quality, the saffron makes it almost a little leather and rubber, bringing a little more out of the ouds rosey and leather leanings. Meanwhile, the Amber and tonka base sweeten and soften the sharper edges. This one is a real treasure and I'm glad I bought it on a blind buy, as it's become one of my favourite rose forward perfumes in my collection now.

Rose de Pushkar is a forward rose litchi scent with spicy, ambery, oudy and patchouli touches. It’s layered and complex and smells expensive. I love that Sonia added frankincense and tonka beans to the composition because it makes the whole scent feeling a bit sweet, warm and soft. It’s really pretty. Also, this is a sexy rose, the type I would wear if I was going out on a date. The bottle is small and cute, with a golden cap. The design of the packaging screams luxury to me . The bottle contains a very dark rose liquid that it will stain clothes for sure! I love the scent but for the price, 240€ per 50 ml, it’s a pass for me. I have similar fragrances to Rose de Pushkar already in my collection, so I’m good. First one that popped into my mind would be Scherzo by Miller Harris. Not the biggest lover of rose in fragrances anyway and this would not bring anything new and really exciting to me.

This fragrance instantly transports me to my grandma’s garden, surrounded by trees and blooming rose bushes. It’s a true woody paradise infused with the elegance of roses. Without a doubt, this is the best rose perfume I’ve ever owned! Something truly special and deeply personal to me.

This perfume is Kayali Sweet Diamonds and Pink Pepper older sister. Not for the faint of hearts. It’s strong but very elegant. Ideal for winter and for late dinners or weddings. Valentine’s Day scent for sure. Smells like expensive dark red roses bouquet

Lovely spicy scent for colder months. Ella K fragrances are nothing less but outstanding quality. First impressions are very positive. I like the rose and saffron with the strong peppery opening. Must-try for those who like heavier warm scents.
