Apple Love

I love apple notes in perfume so I was very excited when I first received a sample of this perfume to try. That was about a year ago when I was really getting into perfumes. At first I just smelled a generic perfume sort of smell with this one I couldn't really pick out apple specifically, but I liked it anyway. As I have continued on my perfume journey I have noticed my nose has gotten better at analyzing scents and being able to pick out specific notes. With Apple Love I can detect the apple now but I also get a pleasing whiffs of peach with a beautiful and soft sugary/sweet background that I adore. I think the peach is really the star in this one for me, it works so well with the apple and sweetness. It feels sexy, playful and elevated. I think this is a comforting and bright perfume that can work for any time of year or setting. The downside with the perfume is that the longevity and silage aren't great. That's something I know and expect with Ellis Brooklyn, given that they are a vegan brand. I have been playing around with layering this perfume and love mixing it with eclaire/bianco latte. The creamy lactonic notes really amplify the fruit notes and boost the longevity and silage. ~Chef's kiss~

Apple Love is a bright and juicy red apple and peach scent with a sugared vanilla base. My bottle went from a soft fruity scent to a strong sparkling apple peach with sugared woods in a year. This perfume is a bright freshie that is cooling and effervescent. Perfect for Fall or Spring everyday wear. It has a slight shampoo vibe that makes it feel very refreshing and clean to wear straight out the shower. But this is no body mist, it’s very much a perfume smell and quality. This is hands down my favorite Apple perfume compared to Kayali Eden Apple (too berry), Phlur’s Mrs Smith (too jolly rancher like, but a close like), and DKNY Be Delicious (too white floral). I’m sensitive to musk and florals and I can spray this down and not get a headache or get overwhelmed. This fragrance is very well blended and stands out in a sea of floral apple scents.

Currently one of my absolute favorites. It smells so so so similar to "Forever Red" by B&BW. I don't necessarily get a lot of apple, just a sweet almost jammy like fruity fragrance. I would definetly say it is more peachy than apple. There is a slight woodiness to it which makes it so the sweetness isn't cloying. I've heard people comparing it to a fall candle- and they are kind of right. But honestly I don't mind that, I like those candles anyway lol. For a full size being $110, I think the longevity could be WAYYY better. Doesn't last long on skin, lasts longer on clothes but really after 2ish hours it's gone on me. Completely random, but this scent also reminds me of a red gummy bear. Imagine a crisp fall day. You go apple picking with your best friend, get home & grab some cozy blankets to get warm. That is the vibe of this fragrance.

This is the guy you meet who hits all the marks on the first couple dates...and then he reveals something you have to cut it off. Thats this scent. I love this scent. Its apple but not too sweet. It has a complex depth that matures it away from a lot of candy apple sweet scents like from DKNY or Kayali. But then it vanishes...the sillage is gone in minutes, and you're only left with an intimate skin scent, nobody is going to smell it unless they have their nose directly on you. And of course its jaw droppingly overpriced for something that lasts only mere minutes. The disappointment is real. However, like the Cranberries song, I linger, and layer this is with Philosophy's Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere to make it more unisex, hoping one day someone will notice this scent on me from 1 ft away and say "you smell nice".

Completely agree with K. Sweetleaf here. The first 5 minutes takes me back to middle school where all the it-girls wore bath and body works Country Apply body splash. Nice brief trip down memory lane. Then about 30 minutes in, one can tell this is no longer a middle school girls' body splash, as it gets some warm and minimally vanilla/musk complexity as it wafts up to the nose from the wrists. Very nice and fruity, a realistic juicy red apple. I don't think I would have been drawn to this one while shopping and browsing. However, when playing with a 5mL sample in a Sephora set, I'm surprised by how much I like this one in the dry-down. She's really pretty, y'all! Not too sweet and not too strong, would be a decent work-scent when you need a bright little pick-me-up in the afternoon.
