Sci Fi

I was looking for a vanilla-based perfume that wasn't too sweet for spring/summer. Most vanillas are heavy, making them harder to wear in the warmer weather. I picked this up and wow, it is perfect for what I was looking for. The green tea and bitter orange really tames down the vanilla. It gives it a nice freshness that isn't aquatic, and doesn't smell like laundry detergent (both of which I do not like). It's more like a brightness with the citrus and green tea. All the notes are really well blended and though it has a freshness, you can still smell the vanilla. On my skin, the bitter orange and vanilla really stand out, and I get a creamsicle vibe. I absolutely love the smell and taste of creamsicles, so I definitely don't mind. But again, it's not sickly sweet at all. It has just the right balance of freshness and sweetness. Perfect for the daytime - it's not loud or offensive. It has a nice scent bubble that wraps itself around you. I would wear it in the spring and summer evenings too if it was hot enough. I really don't see it as a fall or winter scent at all, unless maybe it was layered with a stronger vanilla like Kayali Vanilla 28. I can't speak to longevity yet, as I only just got it, but I can update my review when I have a good sense of it.

It may not sound special based on the notes, but to me this is a uniquely beautiful take on a tea scent (although the name Sci Fi and the blue color of the juice don't necessarily fit- why couldn't they have made this green?!) I'm surprised to read that there are people who don't smell green tea, because for me it's almost as prominent as the bitter orange. On paper it is kind of creamcicle-y, but on my skin the tea really sings, along with juicy orange and a little bergamot. The underlying sweet vanilla base rounds out the bitter notes nicely, but isn't warm or boozy at all- it's more of a subtle cold, ice cream-y vanilla that stays in the background. I think people who don't usually like vanilla-based fragrances might still really like this one. Although SciFi is light and fresh, I get surprisingly decent longevity. If you've ever tried Good Earth's Matcha, Sencha, and Orange Green Tea (this is a boxed tea, not a frag, haha) it reminds me a bit of that. It's also a little like the sensation of walking into an air conditioned bubble tea shop on a hot summer day.

This fragrance to me has such a rainy weekend morning vibe - it’s fresh, but warm, but not in the same way as a cookie. Despite having both orange and vanilla notes, it doesn’t smell like a creamsicle. That would be too obvious, right? Instead, you get more of the orange rind, combined with the green tea to create something kind of bitter. The vanilla first serves as a supporting note to give some depth to those fresh, bitter elements; but when those start to evaporate, the roles switch - the vanilla is at the front, with the leftover bitterness from the citrus and tea supporting it, keeping the vanilla from getting too syrupy sweet. I love how this develops on my skin, because it takes me on such a journey, but I just wish it lasted longer. If I can get it on my sleeves or the collar of my shirt, it lasts a while longer. I like to wear it all year round, but it’s especially refreshing in the summer. It’s a more casual, daytime fragrance, perfect for work (as well as a rainy weekend morning, as stated above!) so in my opinion, it’s a great signature fragrance.

I love this. On my skin, it’s sweet, creamy, and extremely orangey. Orange can come off a bit like cleaning products or essential oil but here it’s more like the smell of peeling fresh mandarin or clementine oranges. I can also detect a crisp, refreshing green tea note and a base of cashmere which happens to be my favorite synthetic “cozy” note as well as an almost lactonic vanilla. The result is really unique and absolutely fantastic on hot days. I hesitate to compare it to creamsicle, it’s smoother and more glamorous thanks to the tea and freesia. The magnetic cap bottle is fabulous and probably one of my favorite atomizers I’ve ever used. I appreciate this brand for the longevity of their scents as well—just like Bee and Fable, this has amazing lasting power. The projection is modest at arms length, leaving a subtle trail, but this stuff stayed with me for 8+ hours including a bike ride on a 94 degree day. It’s an easy favorite and it would probably work well in any season but it’s especially perfect for summer.

This scent is unexpected, refreshing, and really versatile. I am a lover of warm spicy scents and vanilla, and usually cannot find a fresh spicy that works for me. This makes finding unisex summer & spring fragrances quite difficult. Enter Sci-Fi by Ellis Brooklyn. The vanilla and bitter citrus notes hit you hard right away, followed by a swift undercurrent of fresh pine and greenery, then a tiny wisp of honeyed sweetness coming from the freesia flower. The green tea note helps resolve everything, with its bitter grassy note that plays well with the warm creaminess of the vanilla and mellows thanks to the lemon and orange. Altogether, this fragrance gives the impression of drinking a frothy, cool matcha latte with a wedge of lemon generously squeezed into it, while sitting outside in a dense pine forest in the early spring. I love this scent and will return to it often during the warmer months.

This was a steady favourite of mine for a long time. It doesn't last very well on skin but lasts days when sprayed on clothes. Has a bright and pithy citrus opener, with those notes of green tea emerging after a short while. The vanilla is a gentle after-thought, a bit like peeling an orange with a vanilla hand-cream on. It's peppery, bright, inoffensive but not in a boring way, more in the fact of its simple composition that doesn't have any frills. Some think that the name and blue colour don't suit the scent itself, but I think there is something sharp-edged and avant-garde to this. It reminds me of some sort of blue abstract painting, of art galleries, winged liner, collared shirts. Probably not a safe blind buy but very enamouring to those who like fresh and clean scents.

Another gem by Jerome Epinette. I love the way he treats vanilla! I got the Ellis Brooklyn Library sample set and this was the only one I REALLY LOVED! At first I was put off by the top notes because i'm not a big citrus fan. But luckily it didn't take long until it transformed into a sweet, cozy scent. The bergamot lingers just enough to remind me of a creamy earl grey tea or an Italian biscotti with the hint of orange zest. Unfortunately, it doesn't last terribly long and it's not very potent. I over-sprayed this quite a bit, expecting my husband to choke when we got in the car together. But he didn't smell anything until he put his nose right on my skin. If the cost came down a bit, it would be worth it.

This has to be the most realistic orange smell from a fragrance I’ve ever smelt. You know when you peel an orange and you get that bitter scent? That is EXACTLY what this smells like! It is absolutely beautiful. Now, i blind / impulse bought this because the name “Sci Fi” intrigued me. Do i get “Sci Fi” vibes from this? Absolutely not. I think the name is misleading. I am disappointed in that aspect but what im not disappointed in is the fragrance itself. The tea note kicks in shortly after the orange peel and it lingers. If you’re into citrus fragrances — this is a 10/10. You can’t go wrong with this at all. Non offensive, citrusy and somewhat fresh.

(Re-review) I received a 5ml of this from scent split today, and as I remember when i first smelt this, it is lemon icing on sugar cookies with tea. I love it, reminds me of baking with my grandma. This is definitely a perfect spring scent, its bright and sweet and not offensive, although it’s a skin scent so it doesn’t have the best longevity or silage unless you pair it with a body oil/moisturizer. The dry down gives a clean cashmere, almost like fresh laundry. This doesn’t give anything sci-fi. If you’d like to have a lemony icing, not artificial cakey tea scent in the spring, grab this!!!

I adore this combination of notes. The first spray is a bright sweet orange then settles into a calming green tea with a little bit of sweetness. The vanilla is pretty quiet to my nose. It almost gives hand soap or body wash but even if it did I still love the fragrance and it reminds me of something from my youth I can’t quite put my finger on. It’s summery and carefree. Complaints are that it has weak longevity (no surprise since most of Ellis scents do that) and no, the name doesn’t match the scent.

I am also obsessed. I was looking for a more interesting green tea scent, and this is perfect. It's very safe and wearable for work, but it's also quite different and unusual. The vanilla doesn't stand out that much for me, the green tea is really what I smell all day, maybe sweetened slightly by the vanilla, but it is not a sweet fragrance by any means. The staying power is amazing. I applied it this morning at 8 and I can still smell it pretty strongly now at 4pm.

I truly truly love this fragrance, it's the perfect citrus tea with a splash of milk coming from the vanilla. Almost gives creamsicle vibes. With that said, the longevity is garbage and the main reason why I never got a full size. I'm not saying an hour to two hours longevity, I'm saying 15-20 minutes. That's how bad it is. It's unfortunate because I love this smell, but would never spend that much for something that lasts little to no time.

I love this! The citrus and vanilla work in perfect harmony here and are well balanced against each other. I never thought I’d love this combination so much, but I do. I don’t smell the tea note like other people do. To me, this smells like lemon shortbread cake. I wish the longevity was a little better — citrus just doesn’t like to stick around very long. Otherwise, I think this is a unique fragrance that I’m eager to add to my collection.

I bought a sampler of Ellis Brooklyn fragrances looking to switch things up, and this was my favorite of the line. I LOVE this fragrance, honestly. It starts out so fresh with the freesia and the green tea, and then warms as the vanilla comes through. It's sweet, but not middle-school-Body-Fantasies-body-spray sweet. It seems like a really good springtime fragrance, and I could smell it from the afternoon when I put it on to late evening.

I really liked this sniffing from the atomizer. On my skin it’s kind of amazing! At first... smells like a creamsicle, with just a squeeze of bergamot. But then the bitter part of the bitter orange note takes over with the bergamot. The vanilla is barely there. I will revisit this in warm/hot weather. Smells good and just different enough from other citrus-centric fragrances. I’d like a travel size at least.

a wonderful citrus tea with a sweet twist. there's something unique about this - maybe it is the way it mixes with my skin chemistry. The vibe of this for me is girl in a band who reads books at the bar. continues to be one of my favorites, even as years pass. unfortunately, this is not a scent formulated for longevity, I get a couple hours out of it, maybe a tad longer on clothes.

This is my favourite that I've tried from the Ellis Brooklyn fragrances. Although I feel it's a bit misbranded, like I don't see what is otherwordly about this, I do love the bottle and scent. It's really bright, sweet and fresh, and it's perfect for a light fragrance that can be worn in summer or at work. It's not heavily vanilla at all, it smells mostly clean and sweet to me.

I didn’t think I would like this one but I really do. The citrus and tea together really go nicely and make for a citrus fresh vibe that’s right up my alley:) loving this brand so far, I’ve got several of the 10ml travel sprays and love almost all of them so far!! This is fairly unisex and I would say good for all weather but beat for warmer temperatures!

This starts out smelling like berries and citrus on me, the scent reminds me of blackberries. It fades rather quickly to a lovely unsweetened vanilla and tea scent that sticks around for a long time as a skin scent. For me, the dry down gives academia and intimate evenings with friends vibes. It's my favorite Ellis Brooklyn scent so far.

Smells very similar to LV symphony to me. There are some differences, but it’s very bright, fresh sweet and clean! Sometimes I forget how good this is! Then I spray it and fall in love again! Sci fi is fitting in my opinion bc it’s sweet, yet clean. Heavy and soft at the same time, much like symphony.

I really love this one and just ordered it from sephora after getting the Ellis Brooklyn chronicles set. I layer this with myth which I also got. It is quite unique and I don't really think it smells like anything I have smelled before!! Nice warm fragrance suitable for day or night

I wound up loving this! It reminds me of a citrus scented laundry detergent with a hint of powdery musk thrown in. Longevity and sillage- wise, it does equally well in warm and cool weather. I wouldn’t mind getting a bottle of this down the line to add to my dumb grabs wardrobe.

This was a blind buy. At first I thought it was a boring scent, but after a wear or two, I realized just how unique this scent was! Don't write it off right away. It is pretty mild, but I wouldn't say that it's weak or short-lived. It's fresh, fun, and cozy all at the same time.

This is really beautiful. Creamy citric vanilla and sort of sunscreeny vibes in the dry down for me. Something makes it stand out from other creamy citruses and that might be the green tea note. On me it does last but it’s a close to the skin scent.

I love this fragrance! To me, it smells like clean laundry with vanilla and musk touches! It’s a fantastic perfume for those of you who want to smell fresh, clean, and unique. I feel like it’s definitely appropriate to wear all year long. 🩷💯

Dreamy scent, dries down cleanly. The orange and cashmere scents are the most apparent, everything else is extremely subtle. Wish the longevity was a bit better but otherwise a great option to freshen up with.

What an amazing scent! I didn’t think it would be so powdery (I LOVE powdery scents). It’s alluring and mesmerizing! Very well blended. Such a shame it only stays on the skin for a couple of hours at most 🥺

i LOVE this scent but for some reason it completely dissolved on my skin and disappears within an hour. it’s a tragedy. fascinating citrus/tea/vanilla combo that’s right up my alley if it stayed at all :(

A TJ Maxx buy and I am glad to have picked it up. Citrus and tea dominate the fragrance and are wonderful notes for summer and spring. Will I repurchase probably not but I will enjoy it while I have it.

This is what I thought and hoped CK IN2U for Her from Calvin Klein would have been like, but Sci Fi i so much better. Sweet creamy orange, really lovely. Just wish it would last longer.

Fun, flirty, Fruity Pebbles! That's the best description. The orange, bergamot, and vanilla play off each other so well. I seriously smell mouthwatering with this on!

Tested a Sample of this. Wow...this is beautiful. Taking "Ghost in the Shell" off my list....and putting this in its place for Spring-2025!!!

I received this sample along with others from Ellis Brooklyn in an adventure set and this was by far my favorite. It's not complex or weird, it doesn't conjure up images of Science Fiction or anything strange, but it had me guessing What notes I was smelling exactly and I felt as though I've smelt this before but couldn't figure out where. I finally realized I was smelling a combination of vanilla, green tea and fressia. It starts off very fresh and sweet but in a clean way, about a minute later the Bergamot comes out giving it a little bit of tartness and not long after that the Bergamot goes away and I'm left with sweet, warm Vanilla ; fresh soothing and mellow green tea and crisp fressia. It's fresh and clean but also sweet and warm. It has a very pleasing smell that others around you not be offended by. I was surprised on how long this lasted. I put one squirt on the top of my hand and I could smell it for hours even after I washed my hands after doing dishes. Sillage was moderate on me, and that was with one squirt. I kept getting this fresh sweet smell coming up at me all day long and it was very addictive. This perfume would be worth it if you're looking for something you can wear everyday without offending people ,if you like getting compliments or for days you just want to smell good or make people wonder what you're wearing that smells so good. Now every day I've been spraying one squirt on the top of my hand no matter what other perfume I'm wearing for the day, just because I want to smell it. I was never a fan of green tea scents, it was just something that I never craved and I felt didn't fit me. I did not enjoy Elizabeth Arden green tea but this has a different feel to it. I'm thinking I would like to get a full bottle.

I have a story to tell you: My sister spotted this at a local discount store (where I tend to get most of my fragrances nowadays lol) and when we initially looked up the notes I thought nothing of it. However, it kept hounding my thoughts for the next few days. Orange, vanilla, and green tea? I like all of those notes! I resisted the urge to buy it, since I'm supposed to be on a no-buy (especially for perfume!!). I read and watched so many reviews, hoping they would dissuade me, but each descriptor of the scent only made me want it more ;-; So I finally caved and got it (paid $25, and the store had a mini bottle of Ellis Brooklyn's Vanilla Milk for $10! Yippee!) The bottle is really cute! I love Ellis Brooklyn's packaging in general; the fact that the perfume liquid is blue is a plus for me. The opening scent is exactly like peeling a fresh orange. I've actually never smelled such a photorealistic orange before in one of my perfumes. Over time it transforms into a softer, sweet-ish scent with a pleasant hint of tea and vanilla. The projection fades from about medium to mostly a skin scent by the end of the day. I don't mind, since I wear it to the office. In fact, I've worn it nearly every day since I first bought it! Overall, this is one of the best blind buys I've ever had! It's really unique in my collection and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a sweet, fresh scent! I do think the name is a misnomer though - nothing particularly sci-fi about this at all.

Another weirdo vanilla I can't decide if I like or not. Candied Freesia was my first read. Very sweet. Couldn't decide if bitter orange helped steer away or furthered the candy aspect. Not interested in wearing it, but I enjoy smelling it as a scent. Marshmallow fluff, Cotton candy, this is the vein of what I get from this on my arm. Fluffy and sweet. Much better on clothing--more floral (beautiful!), less candy. "Addictive" - yes "Intelligent" - huh?! "science fiction" - not really. Unless this was inspired by Connie Conehead (then I'd believe it and accept the theme). A quality perfume that lasts a long time. Worth trying if you like vanilla perfumes and want it sweet and interesting. I do enjoy this one. It's like floral candy...candied flowers? It's flowers and candy, but interesting and wearable. I really enjoy this on. The only other perfume I have that I get the same vibe is Flora Futura. I look forward to trying these side by side. They're not dupes, just the same feel on me. But FF is a little more serious (and beautiful), and SF is reads more silly (and beautiful). I've upgraded Sci Fi from OK to Like.

Sci Fi is one of those scents that tips everything you thought you knew about fragrances on its head. Orange and sweet green tea open the scent. The orange feels citrusy but not fresh. Soft vanilla bean creates a base so creamy it almost makes me worry that it's going to "curdle" under the orange but of course it never does. Over the day, the orange, green tea and vanilla bean take turns entertaining your nose in rotation, with a whisper of a light floral peeking through now and again. Just when you think one of the notes has started to wear off, there it is again an hour later. I'm currently on my third day in a row wearing Sci Fi and it has definitely grown on me. The orange-vanilla combination is something I can't get out of my head, it almost feels like I've seen a new colour for the first time. Sci Fi is a unique, sweet journey. If you're a lover of vanilla or sweeter leaning fragrances but yearn for something a bit different, or want something to add to your "need to smell" bucket list, Sci Fi is your scent.

Futuristic frangrances are in the trend. Mugler Alien, Paco Rabanne Phantom, Givenchy Pi Neo, Azzaro Chrome, Comme des Garcons Series 8 Guerrilla, Shiseido Zen, Ajmal Believe, Lacose 2000, Loewe Solo Absoluto, Versace V/S... just to mention some. None of those lines had ever futuristic or even sci-fi in the name. Futuristic could be described as metallic, cold, plastic, synthetic. Synthetic orange is often used in futuristic scents. And now Ellis Brooklyn appeared and claims to make a Sci Fi scent. This Sci Fi smells very common because this smell often appeared in women ́s fragrances, so it ́s more feminine than masculine. No vanilla, no fruits, just white flowers. A little bit like fresh showered with cold water. It ́s nice and smells niche. Much more serious and grounded to the earth than to the space. Sci Fi is a great summer fragrance which refreshens with it ́s cold smell. But it ́s not the fragrance brought to you from the space. It ́s the manmade floral perfume.

I have to say I'm glad i put this fragrance aside and came back to it for a second try. I wasn't enamored by this when i tried it the first time. But today, it was like a whole new scent and better than my first experience where it leaned almost plasticky on the skin. Today, i get the orange and bergamot off the bat but mixed with the tea and vanilla, it reminds me of an earl grey latte /london fog. The vanilla softens any bitterness and the strong citrus on the opening. The tea is a tad bit more subtle lending a slight green note that is fresh, atmospheric rather than earthy or mossy in nature-think spa/bamboo rather than earthy matcha. It wears a little closer on the skin but I would say this could lean towards a clean, fresh and closer wearing inoffensive scent for office/classroom when used in moderation (i'm definitely an undersprayer who would prefer to reapply later on) Glad i let this one hang out on the shelf for a while, it got better after sitting.

I agree with those who say the name SCI FI doesn’t match the perfume. This is a beautiful, fresh, citrusy vanilla. The green tea note is barely there but it does ground out the fragrance and stop it from veering too sweet. I’d say it is unisex but definitely more feminine due to the prominence of the vanilla. This is a strong like for me, tempered by the fact that my brand new bottle leaked inside the box and half of it was gone. At least I got it on sale... It has quite good longevity for a natural/clean fragrance and lasts around 7 hours before I feel the need to reapply, but it sticks around as a soft skin scent for even longer if you don’t re-spray. From this house, this is probably my second favorite after FAWN which is a love. Scent 7/10 Longevity & Sillage 7/10 Packaging 10/10 for attractiveness but it LEAKED so be warned! Price 6/10 (I got mine for half price at Anthropologie which felt much more reasonable than full retail)

Opens up heavy on the citrus and dries down to a slightly sweetened and maybe a bit powdery skin scent. Looking at the notes, I definitely get the orange and bergamot up front, a small amount of vanilla in the dry down, and I was thinking there might be a hint of floral in there as well, which it's confirmed to be freesia. With a name like "Sci-Fi," I was expecting it to be metallic or aldehyde-heavy, which it is not. And the description calls it "otherworldly," but the notes are common and skin scents are everywhere. Maybe projects a foot or so when wet and when it dries I can't smell it unless I put my nose to it. If this was priced under $20 USD, I would think it's a great fragrance. But at this price, it's just ok. I would never spend this much money on it, but if I was given a bottle for free, I'd wear it to work and on casual weekends. It is a nice scent but not worth the price.

Opens with an acute, almost sour citrus note to be honest. Very quickly however, it fades into what smells like a matcha lemonade with a hint of vanilla cream. The dry down is fresh, uplfting, and energizing without being too much. It's calm, but still zesty. On my skin it smells exactly how it says it does, a citrus green tea with vanilla. I love it so much, does not give me a headache, matches my personality well, and I love fresh scents like these. However, to my greatest disapoinment I had to return this fragrance because after a hour of the initial spray it disapeared completely without a trace. Despite wearing it under alternative conditions/climates, it doesn't last or project at ALL. Beautiful scent, not as unique as it's marketed to be, but well balanced and elegant nontheless. A shame :(, if you can get it to stay on you for more than an hour consider yourself lucky.

When I was little, I had a bottle of a Christina Aguilera fragrance that came in a box set with her CD. It was in a tall, clear or frosted glass vial, with an orange and green plastic cap, if I'm remembering correctly - I haven't been able to find any evidence of this fragrance existing online, but I know I owned it! Anyway, SciFi smells the same to me. After a blast of orange, it becomes a slightly floral tea scent that's much more sweet than herbal. Maybe because of my scent memory, I don't associate the fragrance with a Sci Fi or otherworldly feeling. To me, it feels more like a gorgeous, sunny day that isn't too hot or humid. It reminds me of the happiness of Summer. EDIT: I've been wearing this every day since I received a travel spray. I think I've finally found a vanilla fragrance that works for me!!

Bright citrus opening that settles into a sweet, orange hard candy/creamsicle type of scent on me. It’s gorgeous, refreshing, and, to me, soothing. I’m not usually a huge gourmand fan but I LOVE citruses, and this is really opening up my nose to the world that exists between the two. I can see this being pretty universally appealing and safe for work since the projection is minimal. One problem, longevity SUCKS. When I tried to test on my wrist for the first time it literally disappeared before I could make a judgement. Tried again and oversprayed on my neck and it definitely did better. Not sure if I’m going to purchase the full size yet. If it was a bit cheaper I think I’d have an easier time rationalizing it but definitely not paying full price on something that fades within two hours.

I got a free sample of this with my order from Decant Planet. I didn't chose it, it was a random selection by Decant Planet, but this turned out to be my favorite scent from that entire order. Promo material says "this will change your perception of vanilla-based fragrances", and I was like "ok, calm down, Ellis Brooklyn"... but this truly is an exceptional vanilla centered perfume. What a lovely combo of blood orange, creamy vanilla and green tea. And something lightly floral is just a chef's kiss on top. Doesn't last, which I don't mind at all (gives me an excuse to actually use my perfumes), very light projection, perfect for work. Unexpectedly charming creation! 9/10.

this is a very fresh, clean and citrusy scent! the green tea note does not feel astringent which I really appreciate. I am usually not a fan of bitter orange or orange peel notes but in this one i find it edible and delectable, like the type of orange you would find in a cocktail. it is a very crowdpleasing and non offensive fragrance, perfect for hot summer days. on my skin performance and sillage are not as abysmal as other have described it; it does stay close to the skin but it can definitely be smelt at an arm length for around 4 hours. I do think it's overpriced for what it offers, so I would recommend only getting it on discount or second hand like I did.

super sharp, tart citrus that quiets down a bit as the vanilla and underlying hint of powdery musk comes out. the citrus definitely stays present throughout the whole wear time, as does the vanilla. the combo does feel very fresh and interesting - but can be slightly overwhelming over time if you're not super super into it. the sharpness of the citrus can have this quality of having just eaten sour candy and the taste is lingering in the back of your mouth. that being said, i think a man might really like this on me; there's something kinda strangely alluring about it despite it not being heady/spicy/"dark"

This scent is interesting, I was confused as to if I liked it for a long time, but now that im wearing it in warmer weather I totally get it. It's got an interesting creamsicle spirit to it that makes it feel weirdly elevated and uplifting during warmer weather, but transitions to night nicely by being soft and clean. The tea notes makes it feel pretty unisex to me. I'd personally love to smell this on anyone. SciFi is a very sick name that makes zero sense for this scent, though. They did not nail it like The Ghost In the Shell by ELDO SciFi reminds me a LOT of Prada Infusion de Cedre

My go-to soft perfume, when I wanna smell pretty, approachable, and completely inoffensive. It’s like throwing on a well-worn pair of lightwash jeans; I’m not making much of any fashion statement, I’m not turning heads, but I’m comfy. Sometimes you just wanna be comfy. In the summer, this perfume smells like a creamsicle. In the winter, it smells a little more cozy and green, like a welcoming tea shop with plants in the windows and pastries on the counters. It’s always pretty. It’s a mostly linear scent, it won’t transform much during the day, but it doesn’t turn sour either.

This was a pleasant surprise for a blind buy, but I got it for half price so why not? Normally I'm not huge into lemon scents per se, but I love tea notes and most orange/orange blossomy notes, so figured I'd give it a try. This is a very unique scent and not quite what I expected. The bitter orange and tea are definitely prominent. Not getting a ton of the vanilla by itself, but this makes me think of standing in an orange grove on a lovely spring day with a pleasant breeze wafting through the leaves. Which is a happy place to be, so I'll be keeping this lovely scent.
