I've bought so many bottles of this Ellis Brooklyn, Sun. I mean at least 10 of them...Am I wasting my money? I guess so because it doesn't last long. I don't know if other people can smell it on me though. But it smells so darn good! If I couldn't bath in this daily, I would. I found that The Forward by Mindgames smells very similar. Of course it's unbelievably expensive. Just know this is on my body and in my hair daily. Update-I think this is discontinued and I am so upset!!!!

Upon spraying I was immediately disappointed, strong burst of what reminded me of a realistic sunflower. Which doesn’t smell good IMO. It quickly dried down into something very familiar— jo Malone WS&SS. Do not buy the ‘Sun’ or ‘Sea’ body mist expecting it to smell like your typical ‘feminine beach body spray’ there is no notes of sunscreen or synthetic tropical coconut or pineapple and sticky flowers. It’s a beautiful, elegant smell. It’s like going to a luxury beach resort. Will absolutely update longevity, I have found all of the Ellis Brooklyn body sprays and hair mists to have great longevity.

Initial impression definitely reminds me of a sweeter Jo Malone WS & SS. Its citrusy musk. Its warm but also fresh. The sillage is intimate. I find the longevity ok, which is contrary to other reviews I've seen on here and elsewhere. Perhaps I smell it a bit more on my clothes than me. Either way, I'm happy to overspray because I got it for a great deal on Boxing Day and its lovely. Its an easy like. Trying to manifest some sunny weather by smelling like summer. I bought the Beach Read trio (love the beach, love books, so its a safe bet). Excited to test the other two!

I found this at Ross, $25 for 3.4 oz. It’s pretty, but the name should’ve been Sun Flower or Sunny Citrus. It’s very citrus dominant with a hint of floral. The opening is a little synthetic and off putting, but I like the musky, warm dry down. I recommend testing this because if I would’ve been able to I probably wouldn’t have bought it. I was just really curious about the comparison to the Jo Malone (I’ve never smelt it) and it was a good deal.This is a scent you wear for yourself or to brighten your mood, it’s not sexy or tasty. If I could, I’d probably return it as it’s not my favorite scent profile, but I can’t so I’ll layer it or use it as a bedtime or out of the shower scent. Update: 11/26 This has really grown on me. Its very nostalgic and reminds me of Tang or an orange creamscicle drink with light cream. The box says its a joyful scent and I agree. I've layered with L de lolita, a spicy orange perfume and Yaa Umree by Zimaya an affordable fresh, musky, orange creamy perfume. This works great with both. Plan on trying her with BS Hidden Fantasy as well. Sun is a keeper. My daugter likes this one too.

Sephora advertised this so excitedly as a body spray under 50 USD! I paid 48 for a bottle that, when oversprayed like crazy, didn't even last through lunch. Super intimate, super weak, super disappointing. Smells great for the first two minutes, though.

This fades very quickly and is really weak, even on first spray. On first spray I get citrus/bergamot but this quickly fades and just a faint sweetness is left behind. After 5 minutes, I can barely smell it unless my nose is pressed up to my skin. I don't recommend...

I just scored this for 15$ at tj maxx .! Super happy about that . Glad I didn’t pay more because it’s not worth to . The scent smells great but as othered mentioned, it’s more of a sunny citrus scent . To me it smells almost identical to the moshino I love love which is a bergamot or grapefruit based scent . That’s all I get here, the mandarins and clementine, I thought I smelled grapefruit but I guess not . That’s about all I’m getting. I like the scent , it’s super juicy but it doesn’t last long and it is more intimate . Beautiful bottle though!

I have seen this in Ross and ignored it so many times until today I saw it for $6.49. I’m glad that I missed out because I got this good deal but I should’ve been buying these more often to stock up.

Very quick to disappear. I sprayed my curtain down to see how long it will last and 5 mins later I don’t smell anything. Weak. The oil off an Orange peel lasts way longer than this.
