Ungaro pour l’Homme III Parfum Aromatique

Aromatic, green, citrus. Ungaro pour L'Homme III Parfum Aromatique is a completely different fragrance from any of the L'Homme III fragrances. It's a green apple fruity sweet scent, with a zesty citrus note, & a fresh aromatic note of calone and green fir. As it dries down, it gets a bit sweeter & fruitier, which makes this mix even more beautiful. Light woody note reminiscent of sandalwood also appears, given the scent a nice soft depth. It's fresh, clean, & really likeable scent. It's in the same vein as Fierce/Montblanc Legend, Bleu de Chanel, Invictus, & co. However, this has a more "90s cologne" feel than the rest. I think it's the fir/calone mix. A very likeable & crowd pleasing scent. Youthful/causal wear for any season but suitable more for the warmer days. "Love"

Parfum Aromatique is not completely different than the original Ungaro III. (My reference here is the "reformulated original," as I have not experienced the "original original" Ungaro III.) This is a fruitier version of the original, which itself is quite fruity; so, brace yourselves. If you do not like fruity fragrances in general, you might even find this a bit cloying. Projection and longevity are not great, to put it mildly; not even as good as the "reformulated original" Ungaro III. However, things are probably not as bad as you might think at first, since this seems to be one of those fragrances which smell less to you than to those around you. If you are like me, and wear fragrances for your own enjoyment first and foremost, this may be an issue. This does not seem to be readily available; at least it is not as plentiful and cheap as the reformulated Ungaro III as of late 2014. Considering the availability, the poorer projection and longevity, and that Parfum Aromatique is not completely different than the original Ungaro III, my choice between the two would be the original.

Complete blind buy as it was reduced to clear at TK Maxx. It is ok, nothing crazy special. A nice soft green-fruity, and as it projects softly, air-con office appropriate fragrance.It will stand out in a good way against the sea of blue fragrances that are currently being worn to boredom. It is aight but don't pay more than £20

I wished it had the "Rose" note as the heart note like Ungaro III. But there is no trace of rose in it, so it should be very different from original Ungaro III.

Having fun with less pricey perfumes and this is really good, even feels modern like from today. Probably my best aromatic. Apparently discontinued.
