Tigerlust

I was really excited about this one (the name got me). But, sad to say not happy with this creation. I can appreciate the nuances, but it just doesnt have any longevity or sillage. It smells nice, but for the hype, I was expecting to have something alot more. I love naturals and appreciate Ensars work but this really does smell like blue kalbar with added osmanthus as a parfum. Not worth the money. EDIT: Its grown on me. I can really appreciate this perfume. Still dont think its worth the money (for the layman). Longevity and sillage is not great but most natural perfumes arent...UNLESS its worn indoors, thats were you can really enjoy it, I feel if I go outside with this it just dissipates. But if you like skin scents then its great for you.

Absolutely stunning by Ensar. It opens similar to EO1, Ambergris, Spices....throw in some floral/fruity notes to sweeten it up a touch. Transitions quickly and often to make a very complex fragrance. Frangipani, orris root, ostmanthus, blackcurrant. Lots of potent musk and friendly oud (not pungent or overbearing). Drydown shares elements with EO2. A lot happening here, but still blended really well that it is hard to pick each note (I can't detect many of the listed notes, but am no expert). If you're a fan of Ensar Ouds previous creations, you will love this. If you like animalic/oudy fragrances that aren't too full on, you'll love this as well. The only downside is that projection and longevity are both average on my skin.

A sexy oud fragrance that wears well. Not too loud but definitely great sillage. The initial spray is strong but then it settles nicely. The floral, leather and sandalwood background makes a nice combination. To me this is a date night fragrance that makes me feel very confident. The ingredients are top notch and it shows. A bit pricey but one of a kind, not your mass market variety. One of the best in my collection.

Drydown: Sweet Animalic with the musky/sandalwood/powdery/citric hit on the top. Reminds me of an animal with a bright heavy coat/suede = like a tiger. The scent is deeply bright, heavy, and addictive for more to spray. My next signature scent maybe :)

This is a leathery scent with well blended Oud and Tabacco and a furry/fluffy type animalics. it's not the type of animalics that would repulse people... I put this on when i struggle to fall asleep, it's pure comfort.

Ensar is on a separate galaxy, quality beyond the stars as always !! up to now every one of his creations that I have tried has turned out to be magnificent, and his new release is no exception !! masterpiece.

Do you know who likes this fragrance? I'll tell you who! It's that damn Carole Baskin! On a more serious note, Tigerlust is a very interesting fragrance and admittedly, despite people noting a strong citrus note, I'm not picking it up - at least not in the traditional way, assuming it's there. What I am picking up, right from the start is a hot, sweaty, animalic scent that stays with it through the life of the fragrance. There is a slight bit of pepper and I'm unquestionably picking up dark woods. Despite my description, there's no question in my mind that there are 100% pure ingredients in it, just as Ensar Oud claims. Interestingly, this fragrance evokes imagery in my head. I picture being in Asia, on a very dark, hot, sweaty night, laying in a hut, wondering what wildlife is wandering around. Yes, seriously. A fragrance rarely transports me to a place in my mind but wearing it makes me think that I could easily be an extra on "The Ghost and the Darkness" with Val Kilmer and Michael Douglas. In regard to projection and longevity, this fragrance is beast mode (insert laughter here). Seriously, a couple of sprays is all you need and it's going to be with you for a very long time. If you spray it on today, future generations of your family will smell it.

The lead is very similar to EO-1, (amber-like) then takes another curve which is difficult for the nose to comprehend - for me at least - The performance is strong ... Excellent aromatic versatility ... It is good, and the longevity is excellent

Opening is awesome but the drydown is not very good. I get a burnt smell from it.

I know why they don't sell testers. This is proper crap! This perfume is a poor amalgamation of ordinary absolutes and essential oils. They will then feed you a whole ton of untruths about how amazing the ingredients are. The arrogance of Adam Coburn and the Ensar Team. Their webpage is full of untruths. I've had a few of their perfumes and this is the worst.

A fairly nice but mostly redundant Floriental with the signature notes of this brand including the heavy orris. The scent opens with notes of pepper, coffee , black currant and tobacco. The floral heart has the central iris surrounded by osmanthus and frangipani. The floral heart is enhanced to an animalic level slightly with touches of civet and castoreum. The perfume settles on a powdery bed of oud, musk, ambergris and sandalwood. Unisex scent with moderate to strong sillage and projection and average to good longevity. Not a bad scent by any means, but absolutely not worth what they are charging for it. Unfortunately this is a nice case of hype over delivery. The exquisiteness of the scent should be reflected in the juice, not only in the words accompanying the advertising and hype that goes with them. This heavy floral centered scent has nothing that evokes the lust of a tiger.

Had some time to spend with this one and i will say it is evolutionary scent not revolutionary. And to get main question out of the way - it is a warm leathery composition with iris note. Natural, smooth, nothing dangerous about it. Now, anyone who knows EO1 will know its a quite good leathery composition on its own and in Tigerlust it is used as a core mix, but to make it a "new" perfume - spices from EO2 were added, which made it warmer in the base, and made perfume shift a little, since original, on me, stayed flat beginning to end. And final stroke was addition of orris, to play a bit on warm/cold sensations. This orris note plays from late intro into middle, but is not in base. This perfume to me, has marked Ensars ability to create a perfume that has stages and flows. This is indeed his most interesting composition based only on the few products of his that i tried, but i cant say, again, that it is amazing. His write ups are much better than the end result. If u want to get a full bottle of perfume from Ensar, but cant decide between 1, 2 or IG, get Tigerlust, and it will give u a 3 in 1 composition. To comment below - technicality is not art. If perfume is made amazing, people will pay. But if price is mentioned, it is because perfume didnt deliver.

.We've all read the extravagant descriptions on EO's website. but after smelling the juice, it becomes obvious that Ensar is a distiller and a wordsmith rather than a perfumer. Mixing rare and expensive materials doesn't automatically result in an exquisite olfactory experience. The lack of formal perfumer training is obvious here, which results in...not a perfume but a smell, a mix that lacks structure and clarity. To me it smells of smoked bacon. Yes, there are slight nuances of other things going on in the first minute after spraying but what you and others will experience is mostly that, smoked meat or smoked bacon. And yes, despite EO denying it, it is similar to Iris Ghalia minus the orris note. In my experience, women will be mostly repulsed by this smell. I own other artisanal/niche perfumes that contain genuine deer musk, ambergris, castoreum, civet, oud from Areej le Dore and Bortnikoff.

The opening is oud, tobacco leaf and coffee. This tobacco leaf smells very natural and fresh-green with this dry tobacco feel to it. When this settles all you get is what im gonna assume is the natural musk or civet? You know, the natural smell of your pet's fur. That's exactly what this smells like, with a woody touch to it. Not uncharming in any way, just a weird and unusual scent im not used to because of the animalic fur smell. Hard to say what im exactly smelling as Ensar's description of this is all over the place like a spiritual journey rather than just list the notes.
