Rose Rhubarb

Just crispy, zesty clean rhubarb with a hint of rose. This made me fall in love with rhubarb in perfumes and its shocking how long the rhubarb is present. Sadly the price is to high for the performance of this perfume. (not paying 132 euros for 50ml)

This is a fresh and very uplifting scent; a beautiful blend of zingy, mouthwatering rhubarb & green blackcurrant leaves with sweet rose and soft, dewy peony. I like it so much, because the rhubarb note doesn't vanish right after the opening; it's present here almost till the end. Floral notes soften the composition and prevent it from being harsh or too sour. This is a great everyday perfume for spring & summer. Rose Rhubarb can be worn alone or blended together with other fragrances from the Essential Collection. It is a 'Mid' (soft), which can be layered with a 'Top' (fresh) and/or 'Base' (warm) to create your own personalised scent. The philosophy of the brand: "We believe everyone can be the designer of their own personalised perfume." I think that it could be also layered with Eau de Rhubarbe Ecarlate by Hermès to highlight the rhubarb note and make it last longer.

I really liked this! Floral and fruity and not overpowering or old-lady like at all. I definitely got the rhubarb at the beginning, and after about an hour it faded to mostly peony and rose, which I also enjoy. Perhaps I will get a small bottle someday when I don't have luggage to worry about.

It is a balanced floral rhubarb which smell nice and inoffensive. Although its name is rose rhubarb, peony is more obvious than rose and together they make a nice combo. It is green and fresh, probably because of the black currant leaf. There is also a slight hint of mush in the dry down.

Juicy crispy rhubarb complements a sweet floral peony with a hint of pink rose. As sour as it is sweet, in an airy refreshing way, and different from Delina which is much stronger on the rose aspect. Could do with a stronger base as recommended by EPC.

this would be my go to for a near one note rhubarb. rose, rhubarb, and blackcurrent leaf seamlessly combine to create a zesty, sweet, and floral scent. not as sour or hard candy as rhubarb can be but also not green or soapy.

Prettier than Molton Brown version. I'm getting more cassis than rose.

I was drawn to this perfume because of the rhubarb. I figured it would be fresh, crisp, and perhaps vegetal. While it is all of the above, I’m afraid it was a little *too* vegetal for my liking. I do like the scent on paper, but on my skin I just could not enjoy it as much as I wanted to. Unfortunately it did turn a bit sour on me. Reminds me of simmering fresh rhubarb on the stove right before you add in the sugar to make a pie filling. Green and tart. I can see how this would be a good freshie for some. However, for my taste, I do wish it could have had just a sprinkle of “sugar”.

first impressions: very fruity on me. not a safe blind buy, imo. i wish i got more green < / 3 mostly the rhubarb and musk stick around (reminding me of Universal Flowering's Burst! where i first smelled this pairing). the rose fades rather quickly, and on me, is pretty submissive to the peony. it's a nice composition, if a little boring. i feel like the wealthy horse girls i went to high school with would have this in rotation, between like 8th grade and sophomore year. idk, maybe not for me
