Ermanno Scervino Eau de Parfum

I remember vividly buying a 100 ml bottle of Scervino EDP before pandemic, during a holiday in Italy for my birthday, in 2019! What a beautiful time was back then, when world was better and not so crazy set on self-destruction. Ermanno Scervino EDP is a gorgeous white floral, highlighting masterfully a gourmand tuberose. But it’s not a sickening sweet gourmand, it’s first and foremost a big bouquet of various white flowers: tuberose, jasmine and neroli with creamy coconut and gianduia, the gourmand nuances, a bright, zesty citrus touch, all layered on a smooth base consisting of vanilla and cashmeran. I know tuberose is not for everybody, but if, like me, you adore tuberose and like your fragrances on the gourmand side, Ermanno Scervino EDP is impeccably done. A very balanced, soft, nuanced, smooth, elegant and very wearable, day to day scent. Feminine to the core, exclusively for spring and summer wear, with moderate longevity and rather minimal sillage. It’s not a room filler perfume, it’s more intimate, soft and feminine, alluring, for close encounters... This perfume is a luxurious one that evokes good memories and makes me smile every time I wear! And a very underrated one! I literally have not heard a single soul talking about this on social media. So if you wear ES EDP, you’ll smell unique, first of all because not many people have it, and second because it doesn’t smell like any other fragrance on the market that I am aware of. I own some of the fragrances listed in the reminds me of section and I personally don’t think this smells similar at all with Orchid Soleil, Place Vendome or Girl of Now.

I blind bought this because A: it has a ganduja note (and that is one of my favorite chocolates, ever, as I was born and grew up near Turin) and B: the super low price. This is actually a very nice perfume: it is sweet and flowery. The tuberose and jasmine are strong, and the gianduja, vanilla, and coconut give it sweetness and warmth. It is not tropical smelling at all, and it is not too sweet, but you have to like strong white flowers. The bottle is very nice too, the beautiful red murano glass style cap, the sweet little tulle bow, and the heavy bottle. An underrated gem. I love it. 🤍❤️💐🍫

In the top notes here is some tasty dessert, something creamy, like those aromatic natural ice creams in Italy, Spain etc. After dessert evaporates it comes out the bunch of flowers on the musk base. To me this fragrance starts to remind very much "Daisy" by Marc Jacobs.

"Paradise" cocktail of white flowers and coconut. Can't find candy. Pretty elegant. Soft, sweet, warm, not cloying. A little bitterness at the bottom.

This bottle and cap is lovely. It has a little scarf! I’ve realised I have a real soft spot for perfume + scarves I think because my scarf always ends up with a very well-blended symphony of perfumes I wear, and it’s incredibly comforting. I blind bought this one because the nose, Mathilde Bijaoui, created my all-time favourite perfume, and I wanted to try something else she’d worked on. This had a gianduia note listed, and I love chocolate perfumes (plus all the other notes sounded like my thing), and this was on sale for super cheap, so I clicked *buy.* Make no mistake: this is a tuberose bomb. If you're not a die-hard tuberose fan, it probably won't be for you. I agree with pretty much every review already written below, it’s a lovely, summery floral. The coconut isn’t obvious, but it gives the blend some creaminess. There is something slightly green in the opening. It’s also very musk-heavy, and my partner described it as a bit soapy. I quite like it. It feels mature and classy. *notes: -If you like Kalotinis Jasmine of Athens or Rebatchi Vanille Riviera, you'll probably quite like this -If you hate musk, you might not like this -The bottle is glass, and the cap is plastic (someone described it like Murano glass below, and I totally agree). It's very beautiful. -If the scarf is in the way of the sprayer, turn the sprayer around. Problem solved!

I had a sample of this and enjoyed it so much that I bought a full bottle. It's chocolatey fruity loveliness. I don't really smell the coconut, but I feel it probably blends with the vanilla and gives this scent its creaminess. I'm glad I bought a full bottle. I like it, I like it a lot. It reminds me of L'interdit EDP, but whereas L'interdit is a fully grown woman, Ermanno Scervino is her very cute little sister.

Beautiful scent! Reminded me too much of Paco Rabanne’s Olympea to warrant a purchase.

Got a sample of this and from the notes listed I was expected something quite different to what I got. This is a very linear perfume, which is basically a blast of tuberose and other nondescript florals. Every now and then I catch a whiff of a bubblegum-like synthetic neroli. It settles down after a few hours to reveal the very faintest hint of musk but as for the rest of the notes listed, I can't detect them. Inoffensive but very boring. Longevity is reasonable and silage good.

Ermanno Scervino has a quite pleasant white flower and green light notes opening. Quickly turns into full tuberose and jasmine musky blend, sadly not to my liking. Later on a sweet vanilla and cashmere add on to the mid notes scent. Nothing new or exciting, reminds me of a very generic scent that elderly ladies wear. A scent I smelled 100 times before and will again. It's a pass for me.

My daughter hated it and passed it on to me as I like experimenting with female scents and combining them in interesting ways. Despite several attempts I agree wholeheartedly with my daughter's perspective. This is not pleasant at all.

I was thrilled when I found a sample of this. I was SO excited to smell it. My friend asks me every year what I want for my birthday and I tell him gianduja! and every year he comes through. Whoah boy does this smell nothing like that. I don't mind foody and kind of cloying, but this smells like every single cloying Old Lady Perfume that I have ever smelled, plus some I've not yet smelled, mixed together to form one Super Old Lady Perfume. I put it on before I took a shower and scrubbed and scrubbed and I could still smell it haunting me when I got out. I keep samples but this one went right into the trash can.

I was intrigued by the gianduia note, that I'd never heard of. Apparently gianuduia (gianduja) is a sweet chocolate-hazelnut spread invented in Turin, Italy during the Napoleanic era (1796-1814). This sounds like absolute deliciousness packaged in a beautiful bottle! I am indeed curious to try it.

This one is a pretty scent but nothing special it is a light touberose and chocolate scent very forgettable I expected more from this luxury brand

Where can this be bought? Does anyone know? Preferably somewhere online...I can’t find it anywhere...
