Acqua di Bergamotto

Yes, it's a budget and sibling version of Italian Bergamot without any compromised in quality . What a generous charity the Estee Lauder Corp. made! They put niche quality ingredients in a mainstream priced colgone. INCREDIBLE! Almost all of the notes are quite similar to Italian Bergamot . The major differences are, AdB's citrus is not as bold as IB and lacks some strength somehow, but its neroli is more translucent and smooth than the latter one. By that I don't mean that IB's neroli is bad or something. It's just the neroli in IB is too hardcore to me. I don't know why the rating is not high enough as the IB's, but I highly recommend you guys, who love citrus and neroli or dont want to spend more money on the IB, do NOT skip this one. Longevity: 5 hours or so on my skin. Projection: about an arm length in the first hour, then turns into a skin scent. Rating: 8.0/10. ----- It's a pity that the cap is NOT magnetic as Essenzes.

Bergamotto ise vasat düzeyde bir bergamot parfümü olmuş. Daha iyileri piyasada var. Neden bu kadar sıradan bir parfüm tasarladiklarini bilmiyorum. Fiyatı diğerlerinin yarısı düzeyinde. Zaten diğerleri gibi olsa bunu kim alacaktı merak ediyorum. Parfüm ilk 20 dakikada kuvvetli bir bergamot atmosferi yaratıyor. Sonrasında ise kayboluyor. Kumaş üstünde daha kalıcı. Eğer bu tarzda bir koku arıyorsanız alternatif çok. Ben Acqua di Parma ya bakmanızı öneririm.

Acqua di Bergamoto by Zegna is a citrus, herbal and aromatic fragrance. Its opening is delicious, very citrusy and fresh, with some zesty and herbal accord. Its development has no significant changes, it smells almost the same from beginning to end, just in some moment it appears the vetiver. Is an artisan cologne style fragrance, simple but pleasure and very fresh. Is an excellent choice for hot days in spring and summer. I had tried it with some testers and it had lasted very little, but this time I used a vial and it lasted more than 6 hours. and at least the first 2 hrs. the people around me have noticed it. Other advantage of this fragrance is that is not expensive

Great, quality fragrance. The smell is absolutely natural and classy. Perfect for the office, casual outings, family gatherings, and when you just want to project cleanliness and class. Whatever E.O. they selected for their Bergamot is top quality. The left to be desired part though is it doesn't last. I do have to carry a small decant vial in my jeans coin pocket to re-apply but it's worth it for this one. Price-point is quite amazing for this one too. Presentation is a simple classy bottle, great cap system, great atomizer, and can be had for ~$25/50mL. If you like toned down, classy, italian inspired fragrance, it's a no brainer and blind buy with confidence.

This juice developed into something gorgeous to me. And I can say it because my first impression (of a blind buy) was that it smelled like a cheap motel soap. Later on that day, I started feeling some gorgeous water-citrus bursts that were lovely. Then, it completely disappeared from my skin. I wore it today again to work and sprayed six times and could smell it quite decently in the 100F heat. Again, it quickly faded into beautiful rare citrus that is almost unnoticeable. It seems provocative that such a sophisticated and beautiful scent has this longevity issue. It is highly addictive, interesting, complex, and fresh. I love it.

I don't get why people seem to compare so many citrus fragrances to neroli portofino. This really doesn't share many similarities to that but it is quite a decent fresh and more refined/mature take on the citrus genre. It smells a lot like acqua essenziale colonia by Salvatore ferragamo except much less herbal and much more bergamot. The longevity is the only real issue. Ferragamo lasts longer and is about half the cost but hey if you have the money and you want more bergamot and less herbs in your juice then zegna is still a quality fragrance.

This is very nice fresh and masculine, good for office wear but I think is very versatile, but I'm pretty sure the best performance is in the very hot summer days. Is kind of cool right now here in Chicago, so the fragrance stays very close to the skin, but is nice, I also got the shower gel, and is a nice fragrant and steamy experience to start with. It comes in a nice designed packing box and bottle, classy and high quality.

V2ery fresh, citrusy and herbal. I use this scent as a sort of aromatherapy for myself. It's very soothing. Spray it on your clothes (or sheets before bedtime) as well as skin and it will last longer. Wearing this outside sometimes I get a whiff of it and I turn around thinking who's smelling so good? That's the drydown and it's very powdery soft and barely noticeable but it's there! An air of mystery.

Bright, sparkling, light citrus opening followed by the traditional eau de cologne soapy orange flower water (not quite neroli), with salty breeze notes reminiscent of Bleu de Chanel or Davidoff Cool Water. Brilliant minimalist composition of new and old styles. Smells like freshly washed and dried linens on a sunny day in the mediterranean. Longevity suffers as with all fresh eau de colognes.

One of the most beautiful refined fresh scents I have ever come across. Pure sophistication and class. I have to let you know fragrance.net have this right now on May 24 2020 not many left stock up or you may never see it again. I don't work for either company just wish to help my fellow fragheads as I do often :)

Maybe the best citrus-aromatic I've ever smelled. Bright, natural, elegant hot-weather rockstar. Better than its more expensive niche counterpart Italian Bergamot. Just wish the performance was better. You could literally wear 10 sprays in hundred degree weather and nobody around you would bat an eye.

I absolutely love this fragrance, it's possibly my favourite yet and may even surpass Eau Sauvage for me. It's such a compelling Mediterranean scent and seems to be exactly what I've been looking for as a balance between an overtly citrus blast and something warmer and more complex.

i think i've finally found the Holy Grail of citrussy perfume. high quality citrus blast + beautiful drydown florals that aren't feminine. put your acqua di gio away chaps, this is the morning scent that all guys need!

Nice fresh inoffensive bergamot scent. Longevity and projection are soso but wasn't expecting much more considering it's a citrus fragrance. My current go-to for the office.

@Mas777 yes i don't see it's too masculine, although i see this is more for men. This is the one for hot humid summer... it lasts like crazy..

It's another great stuff from Ermenegildo Zegna...well done! it is my go to fragrance for hot humid days now.

I’m in total agreement with @PoeticRenegade below; this is an incredibly frustrating fragrance to own. I’ve not had it long enough to wear in the warmer months, so I’m hoping that once they swing around, the performance will up its game a bit more but as things stand and even going heavy on the sprays, it’s not projecting or lasting at all. This is a terrible shame because this is a really beautiful modern citrus that deserves to be shared. The bergamot and citrus notes open up really brightly, although initially gives off a slightly sherbet-y/synthetic vibe to my nose but this dissipates very quickly and leaves the true citruses to shine through. The white florals behind them start to show themselves soon after and I get a lovely clean jasmine coming through with just a subdued hit of a soft pink/white pepper, although they’re not listed on the notes. On the dry down, I also get a very interesting sweet & soft powdery note. The marine accords really give this a more modern feel citrus but it still gives a nod to the classic citruses of the past; AdP Colonia, YSL Pour Homme, Monsieur de Givenchy & Armani EpH. Honestly, I don’t think it’ll excite the younger crowd too much as it’s not a ‘panty-dropper’ or crowd pleaser, quite simply because of its sillage & projection, or lack there of but it’s incredibly classy, well constructed and certainly won’t offend anyone. It’ll get many compliments from those at close quarters and is a perfect summer casual/office scent. I think I’d be incredibly annoyed if I’d bought it at full retail price, simply based on its performance but if you can get it at a discounted price and love classic citrus fragrances, then it’s a very pleasurable experience. It’s just such a shame that the performance is so very poor in every aspect because it is really quite a beautiful creation. EDIT: Nope...... I’d forget it if I were you. Whilst it honestly is a lovely modern citrus, the longevity in warmer weather is just as poor as it is in the cooler weather. Great for 30 minutes, then........ gone completely! There a plenty of these types of citrus aromatic frags around, so don’t waste your money and look elsewhere. A great shame because it really is nice.

This is bright, inoffensive citrus that is perfect for a summer day - if it doesn't evaporate completely by the time you step outside. One of the shortest-lasting frags I've ever worn, becoming a skin scent almost instantly. I know that citruses aren't known for their longevity, but compared with two other similar pick-ups (Ermenegildo Zegna Mediterranean Neroli & Ferrari Bright Neroli - the latter of which is almost an exact clone of the one I'm reviewing here), this is the least-lasting. It's not as high quality as the Mediterranean Neroli, this is clear, but also doesn't suffer from the Petitgrain EZMN is mixed with (petitgrain smells like mothballs to me), but also lacks the musk and mint. If you're considering this one, take a look at Ferrari's offering instead. I think it costs less and is basically the same thing; a little more synthetic on the opening (which settles quickly), lasts longer, and is a bit more floral which I like, personally.

WARNING: This fragrance is for personal enjoyment only. Fragrance is a mixture of citrus such as Bergamot and Neroli, a bit like barbershop cologne. Personal note: I’m a fan of the citrus scents and enjoying it in all seasons. This is a fragrance of citrus made from the finest citrus fruits and packed in a very luxurious bottle and a very attractive package. Unfortunately, doesn’t last for a few minutes and then you can’t remember it. I can say that it is parallel to the expensive specialty Niche Perfumes. The only negative point here: the fragrance extremely weak, just lasts only for a few minutes, In addition to the rather high price compared to other designer fragrances is considered a losing deal for most of people.

This fragrance is quite good, it makes you feel elegant and classy but not old, my mom told me that this reminds her childhood sorrounded by orange trees and the smell of orange blossoms, but not with a sweet smell, more like bittersweet smell of the orange leaves, crisp and sharp, a must try scent with very natural composition nicely blended. The sillage is close to medium and the longevity is about only 4 hours with one spray at each back of the earlobe (best place IMO). If you look for a nice natural citrus blend check this fine piece of Zegna, a sure buy for me, but be sure to put a nice green color shirt to complete the style ;) 8/10
