One of the classiest tea scents that I know of. Starts off with a burst of juicy yuzu, bergamot, and some spices. Within seconds, a tiny bit of sweetness begins to develop that I can only describe as white amber, immediately followed by rosemary and tea. At this point, I'm briefly reminded of Italian Bergamot, except that the tea and rosemary combination is so enthusiastically integrated within the composition, that it defines itself as the signature of the scent. In the dry down, a wonderful creaminess from the musk comes forward and softens up the edges of the tea and woods. A superb blend. It’s no secret the gentlemen over at Zegna know what they’re doing when it comes to perfumery. I'm still not entirely sure why this was ever discontinued, as this could have easily been moved over to the Essenze line for a foreseeable profit. Nevertheless, Talent strikes me as a cheerful, vibrant, and elegant composition with authentic Italian quality and craftsmanship.

The winner from the Elements of Man line! Opens with a beautiful burst of yuzu and light spices. There is immediately a creamy backdrop which works incredibly well with the citrus. If I didn't see the notes, I would guess the opening consists of bitter orange, vanilla (or tonka) and light pepper. As this progresses, the citrus lingers but the fragrance becomes a lot airier despite being creamy and smooth. The smoothness blends beautifully with the wood deep into the dry down. In the final hours, it wears like a robust aquatic; both with some sweetness and spice. It is one of the smoothest scents I've ever smelled. Longevity here is great at around 8 hours, projecting well for about 4 hours. To me, this smells like an upscale version of Chanel's Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme. It has the same aquatic creamy citrus vibe. A very smooth and masculine take on the creamy citrus concept. Excellent!

A perfect modern citrusy classic scent. Make you think to an azure sky. Delicious. Deserve more attention. Unisex. Reminiscence of 70s (eau jeaune senteurs fraiches) and 90s (Bvlgari tea) fragrances of that theme. A dance of Hesperides. So nice. Clean.

Lovely to spend time with - but also insanely frustrating. Very, very pleasant and classy citrus-tea deal which after a slightly scratchy, butchy opening turns true unisex and genuinely lovely: fresh and clean and head-clearing, a cool, calm, centred cloud of your very own private safe space. Anybody at all could wear this and enjoy it - and that kind of crowd-pleasing doesn't come easy. It certainly deserves respect for what it does. I don't get much of the spice, but then don't get even a hint of the soapy/detergent edge which can often ruin things in this ballpark. Never ever harsh, or fake, or ersatz-seeming. BUT. Performance is shy - although it hangs on far longer than you might expect, still there on skin up to 4-5h and a little longer on fabric, it's never really projecting and the scent trail is incredibly faint. In a world where there's OJ Qi or Kilian Imperial Tea (for rich people who can pay for longevity) and a host of cheaper alternatives for those who can stand to respray - Miller Harris Tea Tonique, Roger et Gallet The Fantaisie for instance - this seems a bit of a low-achieving shot at a high-end citrus tea. Full retail price is an absolute joke - £4 a ml for THIS? Not in my lifetime. I feel bad for criticising it, because it's really charming as a smell... just not so convincing all around as a product you're paying for.

Definitely has some special gifts - dash, energy, clean-cut peppiness - but not quite that ethereal spark that marks out the true star performer. Justifies its place in the generally very high-quality Elements of Man lineup as the 'bright citrus' kid in the boyband, and the pepper gives a welcome bit of zing and quirk. The tiny tinges of cedar and patchouli also mark it out as a little bit more macho than the usual treatments of this theme - the faintest shadow of something darker and butcher than the norm lingers around in its corners - though I'd still say it's eminently unisex. But while Strength and Passion of this line are absolute barnstormers, this one is ... able, but not outstanding. A worthy team player but not quite the main event. If you find it at discount, it's well worth snapping up. But I wouldn't devote a serious quest or vintage-premium money to hunting it down to bag it just for the sake of it. Other stand-ins could take its place.

Fantastic Spring fragrance, beautifully blended. Not sure that the price point is justified though. My 2nd favorite of the Elements of Man line, but misses the "wow factor" of Strength. Talent is the son of Italian Bergamot, Javanese Patchouli and Haitian Vetiver of the Essenze line to be discontinued in Spring 2019. (JP and HV are already discontinued) Spring daytime or perfect for Summer evenings (breathable with a hint of complexity, just what is necessary for evening wears), 30+ Edit: I actually like it a lot. Very refined, and kind of unique. High-end office scent, or for Summer nights. Edit 2: There is something that now disturbs me... something blue/ambroxan-ish... downgraded to just "like". Talent is decent. You definitely get the tea and pepper elements just accenting what is a very accomplished bergamot/citrus. Quality no doubt but considering some of the others in the line, not something I would fork out for.

This is a spicy citrus scent, a typical Mediterranean citrus cologne, but less aggressive than some classic Italian colognes, and also less sweet than for example Tom Ford's Neroli. I smell clove in it, which gives citrus a good spicy direction.

Talent is a nice smelling fragrance. But so are a lot of other cheap smelling fragrances. For $200 plus, this fragrance is a rip off. Save your money and go buy yourself a cheapie from Walmart.

Talent seems to me to veer more Feminine with some sort of sweet note and a soft base.
