Fairy Love

This is a super sweet perfume for folk like me who find vanilla and sometimes tonka bean notes in perfumes suffocating. I'm always excited by the idea of perfumes with nutty notes but they're often mixed with vanilla notes and then instantly become a bit sickly (blame a childhood surrounded by girls at school wearing coty vanilla fields!). This one is rasberry and pear sweets at first but on my skin it quickly develops a creamy sweetness, which presumably is the hazelnut. I think that if this retained a bit of fruityness then I'd invest in a big bottle, but I think it turns to super sweet nuts and jasmine so quickly that it doesn't really suit me. I don't consider this light at all but I also don't wear heavy perfumes, so if you like girl of now or flowerbomb then you will think this light. If you like ck one and green tea then it's quite strong and extremely sweet! Ps, this smells so much like givenchy by irresistible. It’s possibly slightly sweeter but I’d say they are safely interchangeable!

Juicy fruits, though sweet, remain fresher than overtly sugary or gourmand. Jasmine stays in the background, transparent, with a gentle honeyed nuance. The overall impression is that of a charming, candy-like composition for a happy, joyful girl. When you want to feel pure delight, turn into a princess, and add a touch of sweet magic to your surroundings, wear this fragrance generously. The sillage is initially noticeable but fades fairly quickly. The nutty base is subtle, pleasant, and quiet, barely perceptible on fabric, yet present until the end of the day. It is worth reapplying, lifting your mood and surrounding yourself with this delightful cloud.

I absolutely adore this perfume ❤ 😍 everyone always goes on about Candy Love 💖 but Fairy can definitely hold her own. Such a beautiful fruity floral and omg I LOVE the packaging!! I really hope they come out with a new one for this year 🙏 BTW for the type of scent, it's really good longevity for me between 6-8 hours ❣ I'll definitely be buying another bottle of Fairy Love, great for layering too 💕 And I own Givenchy Irresistible, I do NOT think they're alike. However Fairy Love DOES smell similar &same vibe to DBIR Coral Fantasy Valentino to my nose which I also love.

Immediately it reminds me of an indoor tanning lotion I used to use, Designer Skin - Purple Reign. I was OBSESSED with the smell of that lotion back in the day and was so sad when they discontinued it. So now that I can smell it again with this perfume, you bet your butt I am buying more than one. Especially since the bottles are so small. It has this sweet, cozy, almost warm type of feel to it. Very inviting. Would be great for first date or a night in. I want to try Candy Love, also.

Oooo, this is lovely. First spray took me back to childhood when my mum was an avon rep and wore moonwind. After a while, that creamy hazelnut comes from a soft background, to the fore and gives it some staying power. Having said that, silage and longevity aren't great. As a toilette, that's to be expected, and as such I tend to spray my clothes and hair to give it a longer life Feminine and sophisticated, with a dash of sweetness. The heart shaped bottle is appropriate....I love it

My new everyday perfume. Such a pleasant, upbeat scent. Perfumes generally don't last more than a couple hours on my skin, but I can spray this in the morning and (faintly) still smell it when I wake up the next morning. The only real downside is the bottle. It's a cute design, but the narrow base means the slightest bump is gonna tip it over (which means it tips over any nearby bottles with a domino-like effect) so I just leave it on its side.

I am really surprised by the reviews. This perfume smells wonderfully sweet and low key, with great sillage. I don't get any nuttiness from it, but it is fruity. It doesn't smell cheap on my skin. It is very easy to wear, and non-offensive. It lasts about 4 hours on skin and 6+ hours on clothing. Great inexpensive but not cheap smelling perfume.

Haha toilet freshner w hazelnut? Ok gurlie! Anyway, if you are escada limited editions die hard fan, have all the collection and ADORE candy heart from last year, please elaborate your opinion. If not, i will continue to be happy about this and buy it asap. But if you are, please let me know why you think like this. Thank you!

bought this out of love for candy love. Did not disappoint! Very impressed. It's a bit more tangy than Candy Love, but that's perfectly fine. 🧚♀️

If you have a sensitive nose and can't stand heavy perfumes this might be for you. It is for fairies. Really beautiful and inoffensive.

Impulse testing, one spray at arm, after shopping. Opens with a playful balanced sweet candylike feel. Fizzers, if you know what candy I mean, I got a cherry note. Yes I did not try the wrong one guys! Giggles. Woodsy aquatic power Escada DNA takes over about 15 mins in and is accompanied by a sour note that comes and goes. This is why I find it interesting, and would need to wear it more to know if I would get along with Escada after a break with them. I do find the quality to be of what expected, just good. The raspberry comes out to play also. I think if you like the notes and Escada DNA it's quite safe blind buy. You just have to see because it takes more than one wear, to give it justice. As with most perfumes! Sillage is arms lenght whiffs of it first hour. What I like most about it, it's an uncomplicated scent for 'those occations' whatever that may be. Perhaps your morning bodysplash after a hot shower, at the summerhouse. A breakfast, morning bath companion in spring.

Very nice, fruity and clean scent. Brightens winter day, but the performance is rather weak thorough a day. It will be better spring-summer. However, I like the way it smells in winter. It is one of the front-loaded creations that are the best in top notes, where pear and orange dominate raspberry and clean jasmin. Interesting background with just the hazelnut note, keeping the scent sheer. The packaging is lovely and the scent is joyous, inoffensive and pleasant, an easy reach. Perfect gift for the ones who like it cute or like the graphical heart.

I gifted Candy Love to a friend and bought Fairy Love. I like Candy Love better, but it gives me headaches...but I kinda miss it. This one is not so good folks, but for me, personally, is more wearable, as it does not give me headaches. It's pure jasmin and raspberry on my skin. I use it as a body spray when I run errands and spray with gay abandon, can't wait to use it up and pick up Show me Love. Yes! I plan to collect all the stupid adorable hearts like Pokémons like the freaking sucker I am... they are just so freaking cute.

Hmmm. Skin test, summer First test this scent was more fruity, it quickly turned dusky powdery rounded and quite different from the MEGA fruit predecessor. Another test and this is a quieter smell, it is not very nutty as wanderlust is, not a gourmand really, the nashi is perhaps a fresh accent. Juicy but airy not heavy, with a delightfully rounded powder gentle feel. Overall on the quieter side as I have said when compared to its sister scent. This one: quiet fruit powdery clean fresh Other: loud cooked fruit with wood lean.

this is a nice perfume! it opens with a really fruity and slightly floral smell... kind of like freshly washed hair or a fun, fruity shampoo. it dries down into a more musky, nutty and less young/immature smell. i kind of have to agree with the bottom comment saying it stinks like a dentists office, but i don’t think it’s that terrible. i like the opening but the dry down isn’t very me. i can see an older hs student or a young adult wearing this!

I’m not gonna lie I bought this perfume for 2 reasons one because I couldn’t resist the name and 2 because I got it for a bargain. Do I regret my purchase? Absolutely not it’s such a pretty feminine fragrance that’s fun. It’s not unique but it’s perfect for a warm day when you want to grab something that won’t overwhelm your senses it’s a little fruity and a little fresh. Sadly it doesn’t last very long but I don’t mind topping this one up.

This actually has a quite realistic scent of home-made raspberry jam, made from wild raspberries and not-to-sweet. Possibly, it is the hint of orange that adds the ”wild” quality to the raspberry? Those of you who know, you know what a difference it is. I might actually need to get a backup of this one - and make som pancakes with jam... If you are on the hunt for raspberry and like it real, don’t miss this one.

Gental sweet smell. Truly nothing special. A little bit dissapointing in terms of Sillage. Perfect for everyday wear in the summer or spring. The first hour it smell sweet you can smell the raspberry and pear. Then as it settles in it gets more creamy and you can smell the hazelnut. It's not a wow sent but its OK if you get on salle. Deffibetly a safe blind buy! Longevity: 7/10, 3 to 4h Sillage: 4/10

I don’t agree that this smells like toilet air freshner or other housecleaning products. There is nothing ‘new’ about it though but I think it has a nice smell. It is a scent that is soft, sweet and creamy yet a little bit fresh. Actually, after a few hours it reminds me of ‘Fantasy’ by Britney Spears, only this turns weaker, softer and more comfortable.

When I first bought it I wasn't impressed with it. Year past by and it definitely macerated I could finally sense the hazelnut. It's unfortunate it has lasting power as a body mist. It's most 2 hrs. You can sense the nashi pear as well. I love the heart shape from. It just brightens my mood every time I use it.

Sweet, fruity and pear forward! This is just an all around nice scent! The fruit is realistic and it is a tad generic, but still very cute. It reminds me of a higher-end body mist.

A hazelnut surprise. A very fruity opening, as expected, but dries down to quite a pleasant and unusual hazelnut base.

Sweet raspberry and orange, maybe pear. I don't detect other notes. Happy, daytime scent.

I hoped that this would be a fun fruit gourmand like Candy Love, but it isn't. It's also not a cocktail kind of scent like the annual Escada summer editions. Fairy Love is a fruity floral that's more on the fresh than the sweet side of things, pleasant but very unremarkable. Right after spraying raspberry is the strongest note, but after that I get more of the crisp nashi pear. The jasmine is rather clean and perfumey and very slightly creamy, it's the typical "generic white floral" note and doesn't smell like the real flower. I get nothing nutty at all, only pear, a touch of sweet raspberry and a soft floral base. I tried this when it first came out in late summer and also now on a cool and rainy November day, on a paper card and on me. Surprisingly I liked it the most in the cold under my sweater, because that's when the fruity notes were the most distinct. But either way I find it a little too non-descript and also very weak. You really have to press your nose into your arm to detect it after a couple of hours. If this is not available where you live yet, you're not missing out on much. It's wearable and inoffensive, but there are so many better fruity florals.

This started out promising, but the base ruins the fragrance for me. It starts out smelling like a candy apple that a lot of people would probably describe as "basic." Still, it smells yummy even if it's nothing too unique. I'm not the type to care about that because if it smells good, it smells good. However, the base of Fairy Love develops a faint taco armpit B.O stank for some reason. I've noticed that happens with a lot of perfumes that smell like candy apple. They're always too sour in the opening and too musky in the base to the point that they remind me of stinky armpits. The sillage and longevity are moderate on clothes. I'll probably use it and try to ignore the whiffs of B.O I get in the dry down, just because I don't wanna waste it. I doubt I'll ever buy it again though. This smells really similar to Blush from Rue21 which also starts out as an amazing caramel apple and turns into a funky musk.

💲19.99 for the 1.oz EDT @ Burlington 👃This does smell shampoo-type fresh when you sniff the bottle. Upon initial spray, the alcohol is quite heavy, which fades away a bit after a couple minutes. What I am left with is still pretty alcohol heavy, but I am able to detect a fresh citric scent that’s lightly sweetened & has just a touch of something woody -like the shell of a hazelnut and not the nut itself. For me this generic fragrance is a layering scent because, neither am I in love with it to begin with, nor does it last long at all. The bottle serves as a cute display piece. I’d say buy it only for the pretty bottle if you’re a collector. It is heavy glass and stays up nicely on its cap. (note: the atomizer sits upside down when the ❤️ is upright; the liquid is in the large upper section and the pointed part of the heart is the cap)

Quite basic but over-all nice/ok sweet fruity scent. Sillage stronger than its longevity. Jasmine isn't too empowering which is good since usually jasmine notes turn dirty on my skin. The bottle design in this collection is soooo cute, reminds me of 90's cartoons and animes (especially Sailor Moon)! Also design of this could be Ariana Grande's perfume too! Unfortunately not that memorable scent vice (like Escada's perfumes usually are), in my opinion the weakest link of the collection. Favorite one will always be Candy Love 💖 Some bonus points for vegan formula, but such a shame that Escada isn't cruelty free (so formulation isn't completely vegan then if animals get harmed when testing it...).

I'm in between ok and like here. I blind bought this for the pear and theres is pear so... I think I got what I was looking for. Very feminine, fryity-floral and fresh and easy. It's nice, but quite generic, nothing special, doesn't develop much on skin. Reminds me of some Juliette has a gun scents. I'll try to layer this and if I can't find any nice combinations I think this one will have to find a new home as cute as the bottle is on shelf. This would be a safe blind buy for someone who is not that into perfumes and would also be very safe choice in office environment.

the opening is very light, sweet and fruity but after a few minutes the very warm hazelnut comes through and it is HEAVY. i almost can’t smell anything but the hazelnut note until reapplication. i enjoy the fruits i get in the beginning but the overpowering hazelnut note is not my favorite, perhaps you’ll like this if you enjoy very nutty fragrances.

It has no longevity nor sillage and it smells very cheap. I got this as a present and I wouldn't have chosen it if I had the chance to smell it before. But I think it's a great perfume for children. It's fun to look at, it's sweet and light. I'm very disappointed in Escada though because they usually had awesome fruity perfumes in the past.

Smells a lot like the pink Herbal Essence conditioner (the color safe one.) I also detect similarities with Givenchy Irresistible. Really nice. Projects but doesn't last. Refreshing. Ultimately not for me but I adore the little bottle; it just makes me so happy to see it on my shelf.

I think mine went bad. I bought it from fragrancenet. It smells like when oil goes rancid a little. It’s a cute scent but I can’t get past that. I guess that’s what I get for buying limited edition perfume they don’t make anymore.

Smells a bit generic but not in a bad way. Fresh and sweet. A crowd pleaser, everyone compliments it when I wear it. Really afordable too. I prefer candy love bit this is pretty nice too.

It is not a bad perfume, it’s just a bit generic and boring. Sweet, sharp and fresh, but no depth. It’s like Escada’s most fruity fragrances, just without «personality».

beautiful at the opening but then it dries down to the most terrible musty synthetic smell. I bought it and returned it twice hoping it was just a bad batch. its unfortunate I would have loved it otherwise. stick with candy love its great start to finish!

Blind purchased because I love a hazelnut note and really wanted something nutty but this is far from it. I hate to say it but this is sooooo generic, I can’t tell one note from the other. I am not a “basic” perfume hater, infact I love most fragrances that people deem as “generic” such as daisy marc jacobs, velvet petals vs, sweet like candy Ariana grande. I usually find something special or something I love in “basic” perfumes but this... I just can’t. This is so so bland, literally nothing special and it’s SO disappointing and such a waste of $30. Definitely got catfished by that hazelnut note. If you’re wanting something cheap with a cute bottle go for “show me love” instead, or the new party love they’re MUCH better.

This literally stinks, as a teen myself I would never wear this. It is so disgusting it smells like a dentist's office with fake artificial screechy fruits. I don't know why everyone likes this and says it's perfect for younger audiences. This smells horrible and was a waste of my money. Fairy Love is definitely overhyped. If you're looking to find a perfume for a younger girl DO NOT get this, instead, get Escada Candy Love. That one is for sure worth the money.

Well I am not sure what's going on with escada!!!! This is the 3rd dissapointment in a ROW after candy love & summer festival !!! It smells disgusting!!!!!! The notes are not blending together Leaving what can only be described as toilet freshener mixed with medecine DISSAPOINTED 👎🏻

Fairy Love smells like Can Can by Paris Hilton. I bought it at Burlington for like 12 bucks.. to my dismay someone returned it before, so it was marked down with a red price tag. The cellophane was taped back together very tackily. The jasmine I am unable to smell (sad!!) so I just smell a cheap-smelling raspberry reminiscent of BBW’s Velvet Sugar. Don’t get me wrong, raspberry is versatile in its scent profile where it pairs well with florals because of the zest if you get what I’m putting down. The hazelnut also dries down on my skin where it doesn’t mix at all with the raspberry. It makes more sense if it went with a milky note to tone down the synthetic screechy scent of the raspberry. Overall I’m unsure about it right now and I don’t think I’m gonna go with escada fragrances again because of this experience... I will give updates though. Something i find with perfumes is that I like to have them grow on me. Update 3/27/24: I kinda like it. It has that same type of fruity-woody that Sweet by Lolita Lempicka has. It’s definitely not a favorite but it’s a like. It’s a little too sweet for my liking,

This is the first perfume with pear notes where I can actually smell the pear! I was a little worried as I blind bought this because it was on offer but I’m not fond of citrusy perfumes (the orange note had me nervous) nor hazelnut, I was also worried it might have a plasticky smell but I was pleasantly surprised! it starts off fresh and fruity, I can really smell the pear and lightly sweet but not tart raspberries. The scent gets slightly creamier and sweeter after around 10 minutes (I’m assuming this is the hazelnut) I don’t smell anything overpoweringly citrussy or tangy, the hint of a sweet tangerine at best. I imagine it would work well as an everyday perfume, it’s a delicate scent once it settles so you’ll probably want to use a few spritz. This scent is cute without feeling childish or too sweet, like sitting outside a bistro with a hazelnut garnished pain au chocolat and an ice tea in the fresh spring breeze. A definite try for those who like fresh and gentle scents or pears!

I just got this fruity little perfume today, and even though it's not groundbreaking, it put a smile on my face. During the first five minutes it goes from shampoo to (due to the pear and jasmine) something quite reminiscent of Prada's Paradoxe, albeit of not as high a quality. Having said that, in the 10 minute mark, this is more like a VS body spray rather than a perfume and it loses almost all of its vibrancy. It becomes a generic sweet scent with something heavy on the base that I can't quite figure out. It's still pleasant but if it held onto its opening notes longer, it would have been great. Update: I wore it a lot inside the house during the summer and it was a cute scent but I tried spraying it again in the fall and it just...had this horrid AND STRONG chemical smell that wouldn't go away...so I don't know how I feel about this after all. Perhaps the scent perception really changes with the weather. The bottle is very pretty though.

I *LOVE* THIS ! It's fresh, it's sweet, it's fruity, it's floral. Slightly lighter than Candy Love, and slightly less sweet. This is perfect for everyday. The bottle is SO cute. I got the 30ml one. For collection-purposes I think the 50ml looks slightly better. I might buy a backup bottle in bigger size. (I got the Candy Love as 50ml) These heart-shaped bottles make me so happy! They remind me of My Little Ponies and Care Bears in the 80s. 😍 This turned out to be a successful blind-buy! 🎉 I'm happy with Candy Love too (also a blind-buy). My first impressions: "Love at first sniff" !! 💗 Totally recommend if you like sweet fruity fragrances AND cute bottles. 😍 The longevity could be better, but it's perfect for shorter outings OR of course you can top up as you go. PS. I do detect the hazelnut but it's not obvious - it's just there on the side to give structure. Love!!
