Island Kiss

Oh, how I loved this! It was one of my first signature fragrances and the only one I ever repurchased! There was just something about it's fruity aquatic freshness that was sweet yet also a little mellow. It was a bit gentler than the other releases, which were tropical punches, while this was more like a breeze! This is the girl who loves to dance but is a little bit more quiet. It made me feel so good when I applied it, from looking at the beautifully detailed bottle in the calm blue shade to feeling this first breeze of a hibiscus tea like note... ah the memories. My boyfriend told me he would always think of me when he smelled it on someone else and it made me smile :-) The 2011 version wasn't the same and neither were the other releases but I have found a touch of that hibiscus tea note in Adidas Fruity Rhythm and a bit of the aquatic freshness in Betty Barclay's Tender Blossom. Those are creatures of their own, but if you enjoy nostalgia, you might want to test those for a touch of the magic... ;-)

my absolutely favorite perfume for the summer! too bad they discontinued it...it was by far the "fruitiest" and sweetest of escada's summer line!i kept the bottle for a sniff...when i smell it it still reminds me of summer vacation in greek islands drinking margaritas by the pool under the palmtrees...!thats life!and thats what i love about perfumes...they are like a door to the past...to a memory...to happiness...:-)

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Island Kiss. Definitely my top 3- I'd say 2, after Be Delicious by DKNY. If you like fruity, young and sexy- this is for you. I don't usually like musk, but it compliments the fruitiness so well, which is why I marked it as an evening and day fragrance. I'd say more so day. Definitely a fun summer fragrance, a really optimistic spring fragrance, too.

Oh my, how I loved this perfume in my 20s. I had four bottles, and if it was not discontinued, I might have re-bought it (even if it is not for women over 30). I loved the sweet, fruity smell, although it lingered on my scarf/top for a longer time than on my skin. As I heard the 2011 edition was nothing like it. Now I have to find a new singature scent. Sad.

i love this perfume and im on my last drop. i do think all escade perfumes that have the same shaped bottle as island kiss seem to smell similar. all scents have slightly different undertones but the base i feal is always the same =) i cant find escada island kiss anymore, and will probaby order it online, has anyone of you got a good site ??
