MY COUSIN STOLE MY FAVORITE PERFUME When I was 10 years old, my parents took me perfume shopping. The store lady kept recommending me Disney princesses, SpongeBob, Dora the Explorer, and Shrek. The lady recommended my mom Escada Pacific Paradise, and after she sprayed it..... It made me love perfume for the first time. My parents got it for me, and I was so happy. I loved it so much that I barely wore it. I was afraid of using it all up. When I was 15, I moved to Thailand and even kept the bottle in the fridge to protect it from the heat. One day, my older cousin came over and looked through our perfume collection. She commented on how much she loved my favorite perfume. The day she left... it disappeared. I searched everywhere. I cried over that bottle more than I'd like to admit... lol it wasn't just a perfume, it was a memory from my childhood. For years, I couldn't find anything that made me feel the way that fragrance did. Now I'm 29, and I still can't find anything that smells exactly this one... Duck you, Joy. Update: 🥹 I GOT ITTTTT My bf found a Japanese seller who has an unused OG Bottle !!!! The first spray came flooding in so many good memories It smells exactly how I remembered it !!!!! ❤️

Who's lurking here again because you're obsessed and feeling nostalgic, especially with summer coming up? (Me!) I found a dupe at TJ Maxx! Curations by The Good Scent - Apricot Nectar for $16.99 (cube bottle with like a round, dark/dusty rosewood colored cap). When I first sprayed it, I was like, "...Escada!! ..Moon Sparkle??" Then I saw lime, banana, and sugar listed on the bottle, and I was like, "That's right, Pacific Paradise, even better!!" Top: Apricot Nectar, Sun Kissed Lime, Ripe Banana Middle: Sugar Cane, Magnolia Blossom, Juniper Berry Base: Pine Musk, Creamy Sandalwood Good luck finding it 🤞 Buyer beware, the dupe's longevity on skin is... not too good. But on another note, one of the newer summer Escadas is pretty close (Santorini Sunrise). It's a little more mellow, but is still very "sparkly", which is how I view Pacific Paradise haha

I absolutely adored this. It's everything good about summer vacation all in one bottle. It's fruity, sexy, amazing. I bought bottle after bottle of this until the last time I got one off of ebay it had started smelling funny. Not sure if it was because my ditzy mailman rode around with it in his car for 3 days or what, but I was heartbroken. I can't believe they discontinued it. This is one of my top 3 fragrances ever. I would be careful about blind buying, simply because it's been discontinued for so long it may have turned. I would hate for someone to get a bottle and not be able to enjoy it in all it's original glory.

I was able to obtain a sample of this and fell in love. Unfortunately that was two years ago and I have been unable to find a full size for sale or even another sample. At first I smell sweet and refreshing tropical flowers and apple with hints of candy and pineapple. It immediately gives me a sense of lying by the beach with the cool water running over my feet at the shore. It then starts to get a musky dry down with hints of the coconut and sandalwood. Its like an exotic drink that quenches your nose. I Love love love and hate that I am unable to find it. My only other wish is that it would last a bit longer.

My mom would get us all of the annual Escada limited edition fragrances- but out of the 8-10 I had... I have such nostalgic cravings for this specific one. In high school I would absolutely douse myself in this fragrance everyday, and got so many compliments. To this day all of my buddies from childhood say they remember how good I always smelled. It is the absolute epitome of "juicy"- like only Escada can do, without being synthetic or grossly sweet. I wish I could find an authentic throw back bottle! Let me know if you're selling :)

Thee best perfume I have ever owned. I remember purchasing it in the WINTER of 2006. Even the thought of that smell bring back such wonderful memories. My husband LOVED it and so did all of the men and women I was friends with or worked with.. the #1 perfume I have received the most complements on. It is a sweet, fruity and a SUPER sexy scent... I LOVE IT!! I wish Escada would bring this scent back so I don't have to pay $150 for a 100ml bottle. Yes, that's how much I love this scent.... I am willing to spend $150 on it! :)

The best teenage fragrance I have ever used. Fruity, juicy, yet nothing overly sweet and repelling. I wish they brought it back. Definitely a great combination of notes which was not cheaply made, although it was a rather inexpensive perfume. The bottle itself, by the way, was cute. Many girls at school wanted to have it. Surprised to learn there was amber and sandalwood there! Generally, Escada does the best teenage perfumes I noticed.

this is definitely a very energetic, juicy, tropical scent for the summer... very unlike what i normally wear.. i like more muted, softer scents. i absolutely can not stand the first initial spray.. oh my, it's overwhelmingly fruity for me and very strong. i smell a lot of berries for some reason (?) . the drydown is really nice. i get hints of sea salt, but it adds a touch of sophistication to an otherwise, girly, fun fragrance.

I too wore this 10 years ago... I've had a bottle in my fridge unopened for at least 8 years, waiting for a special time to open it. Well that special time was tonight. It's amazing how a fragrance can be a time machine. Boom! I felt like I was 16 again... Fragrances can be such a great escape. It's exactly what I remembered. A very fresh fruity. Escada sure doesnt make em like they used to. Lately they've lacked character.

It's so weird seeing as I hate most fruit, but I really love fruity fragrances so much, haha! This one is just divine for summer, if I am remembering correctly. Nostalgic! I think it got discontinued here long ago, but I found a bottle over in Bali a few years ago and felt like I was in a Beach Boy song....Kokomo, of course! I just so love tropical scents for summer, and Escada made some delicious ones.

I absolutely love this scent. It's my favorite scent, however, I wish it lasted longer. I have many expensive perfumes that I love, but for some reason, I keep my empty little bottle of this and smell it from time to time and I really can say, it's my favorite scent ever! I wish this scent could be made into a high end perfume with great sillage and lasting power. I'd pay an ungodly amount for it.

Oh wow! This used to be one of my summer go-to scents. I absolutely wore it out. I guess that's why I don't wear it anymore; I got tired of of it. I guess as I got older, I craved more "grown-up" scents, and this one didn't do it for me anymore. I won't ever revisit it though. Pacific Paradise, we had a good run and I'll leave it at that.

I love this one! it's the most special scent of all Escada summer editions. it smells so fruity, candy, fresh and gives a feeling of freedom, holidays and happiness. this perfume fits perfectly to all sweet, sexy and young and those young at heart. pacific paradise will always be one of my favorite perfumes... <3

LOVE this perfume! its very fruity and the lasting power on clothing is good, skin not so much... ive been using it for around 9 years (since i was 15) i'm completely pissed they stopped making this BUT today i was able to score TWO 3.3 oz bottles for dirt cheap!! and i smelled both to ensure they were real.

This used to be my favorite scent for a long time! My friend had some and I was obsessed with it so my friend bought this as a christmas present. She ordered online but when it came in it smelled so different from hers. Maybe because something was wrong with the bottle. Ever since then I stopped using it.

It is a fresh fragrance. VERY similar to "Island Kiss." Near identical except this one is better. The difference is "Island Kiss" seems to have a sour note I dislike and this one does not. PS: Don't smell the banana, coconut or sweet. PSS: Do smell citrus, green apple. (Longevity is meh)

Fruity, juicy, sugar overload but I like it! :) It has a summery, tropical vibe to it. It smells yummy and edible. I don't usually fall for this kind of perfume, because I'm not a beach party or sexy fragrance kind of person but this is still lovely and sweet without being too heavy.

This is a fragrance that I'd buy immediately if I saw it anywhere, but they don't make this one anymore, do they? I've been craving for it for years now! Anyway, it's amazing so please, dear Escada, I'm on my knees - new production on this one NOW! Best of love to all xx

One of the best fruity scents of all time. I recently rebought this based on memory and was delighted all over again. The banana is similar to the one in Hempz Original Lotion, where most people won't guess banana right away, but it's so delicious you can't put it down.

I wore this 10 years ago... It's amazing how a fragrance can be a time machine. I felt like I was 17 again... Fragrances can be such a great escape. It's exactly what I remembered. A very fresh fruity. This was the only perfume by Escada that I've purchased.

My mom used to spray me this perfume before I went to school, back when I was still in elementary school. I seriously wish I could have this again and smell it once more. I still remember the scent even after 10+ years later :)

One of my all time favorites! I have a bottle put up in the fridge. I smell the lime in this more than anything. Pink ice from rue 21 smells soooo similar to this and it's only like $10 (not sure on the lasting power) <3

Its back!!! I really hope that 2026 will be the year of come backs, not just from Escada but a lot of other discontinued fan favourites from the early y2ks! Please bring back Moon Sparkle and Miami Blossom too!

This is my all time FAVOURITE perfume! Is it absolutely beautiful! Totally sweet, fruity and perfect! I wish it lasted longer, but that is not a problem. I just get to spray it again! It is absolutely perfect!

I love this one it transport me to the beach,the fun,the parties,is very yummy like fruits in a bottle,i totally recomend it,for those one who loves truly fruity-flirty fragrances.;)

Can be used everytime of the year, but the spring and summer are the best season if you want the smell of lime and sugar to linger. For me is the best for work.

This is a very cheerful & fun perfume......but it's way too much banana for me. B-A-N-A-N-A-S! It does make me think of the beach, they got that part right.

i didn't know that this perfume has banana on it! That's why i love it because i love bananas too!!! But also it smells something like watermelon...

One of the best perfume I ever smells. Very fruity and sweet. Owned it when I was 19. Love it so so much but Escada has discontinued it. Too bad.

I came here to say if you miss this, you may want to try Asdaaf Atlantis Blue - not an exact dupe but giving similar vibe imho.

This smells absolutely nothing like island kiss...

Tangy, fruity and tropical. Green apple is the most prominent note to me therefore it smells like something Garnier Fructis would release. After the green apple - the citrus notes are quite prominent as well - making this quite the "sour candy" type of fragrance without necessarily being overly sweet and sugary. I do get some sandalwood and musk in the base but I don't detect much of the other notes (they're clearly doing something but they're not super distinguishable.) It's juicy, vibrant and unserious. I'm one of those that believes most fragrances can be worn year-round but this is a strictly summer scent for sure. It's nothing super groundbreaking but it does smell nice.

Pacific Paradise was my introduction to the endless parade of Escada fruities ("Rockin' Rio", "Taj Sunset", "Sunset Heat", "Sexy Graffiti", the list goes on and on). They're all pretty much the same story. They open gloriously but settle down into something synthetic and fleeting. A far cry from the Escada releases of the 90's, which were quality well-performing fragrances. And it's a shame, because the modern day Escadas are really pretty fruity scents. Pacific Paradise is still one of my all time favorites from the "new era" Escadas. It's a delicious coconutty banana delight; very girlish and fun. Oh if only it lasted longer on the skin!

Escada used to be one of my favourite brands for perfume, but I have trouble recalling which perfumes I had gotten before from them. Which is very strange as I can remember pretty much everything (including samples) I had used before. Anyway, this is the one I am fairly certain I had gotten once. This perfume made me realise my love for the smell of coconut. It was one of those sugary/fruity sweet scents (this one was creamy in addition too. Yummy!) I loved so much back when I was younger. The bottle was lovely too. The new Escada perfume bottles are pretty boring now, IMO.

Nice fragrance, but that's all. All this type Escada fragrance releases have the same in common: thin fruity note, nice but not much depth. There are times when I don't need much depth but there isn't ANY. All in all, the fragrance is tropical, fruity, pleasant and sparkling, yellow note the most detectable (banana, sunflower, citruses), there's also a touch of pineapple I don't see listed. A bit similar to "Moon Sparkle", but brighter.

I dont get any of the notes listed at all. Its not even sweet! It just smells of a cheap really bad hairspray or generic bodyspray gone bad. I cant believe how gross this is! I want to smell the banana and coconut and some candy with musk. Gosh why is this so bad? O have these issues with a lot of escada fragrances. Maybe my chemistry just doesn't blend well with escadas? The only one that smells good is moon sparkle.

If you are a lover of these Escada summer editions, there is no mistaking them. They are all similar to each other, in that they are sweet, fruity, juicy, and a bit tart. Each one is a bit different because they seem to have a different fruit at the centre. To me, this one smells of citrus and pineapple, with the usual fruit and sugar backdrop. I never get tired of these. This is cheerful and summery.

Wow. A trip down memory lane. I was in the 9th grade, all the girls at my school were wearing it, and so I asked my father to buy me a bottle during one of his trips abroad. My whole school smelled of this for two years straight. I remember it smelling exactly like tropical juice, fruity, sickly and a bit sticky? It was the coolest thing to wear at the time, and I have positive memories of it.

A few years ago I wanted a total change, so - as an experiment - I decided to try something exotic-fruity and I bought this perfume in... February when it was freezing cold and snowy. It really worked, against all odds! So if you feel like a crazy little experiment, try a touch of tropical paradise when you most miss it - on a cold winter day! You might be surprised;)

I liked this one very much few years ago, but the bottle is still not empty(I thought it absolutely evaporated, but it's just as it was). Its longevity is pretty good to me. It is freshly sweet thanks to the lemon, lime, apple and banana. Green banana! :D The scent is generally green to my perception. Playful, casual and interesting.
