Tropical Punch

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!!! This is such a beautiful scent, not unlike recent Escada summer scents this one is really fruity fresh but actually not filled with exotic fruits to achieve ultimate sweetness. The name is actually a bit misleading, at first i thought it would be something exotic fruity but it is not actually. I can clearly smell a lot of ultra juicy white peach, mixed with juicy pear and freesia. This is simpy yummy and really juicy fragrance. A lightest hint of pomegranate is adding light bitter note to it but only for the best! Girls, if you can get your hands on this amazing summer creation, do not let this opportunity pass by. You will adore it for sure if you ́re crazy about peach, but not just ordinary pink peach (say like in Tresor for example) - but fresh juicy white peach! I am off to nearest shop to buy some peaches, cause i just can ́t resist that wonderful smell of peaches! EDIT:Today i have recieved my 100ml bottle in addition to my half full 50 ml bottle and i am gonna use it more often during hot summer days! This is THE best summer edition of Escada of all that i have tried so far for me (and i have not tried only lilly chic)! How i wish i could have more of it!!! lasting power is good, unlike a lot of other summer Escadas, but stays longer on your hair and clothes than your skin. Sillage is good.

I love white peach! I love this gorgeous perfume. White peach is what I get, more than anything. What a delicious fruit perfume. Juicy and sweet, with a delicious tang and refreshingly sour edge. So full and opulent. I wish it was readily available! I was so lucky to be given a beautiful bottle of it, and I wish I could get more. It's so good. It's the best fruit perfume I've ever smelt. Like all the most delicious fruits, ripening in the fruit bowl, giving of their beautiful ripening up aromas all around. Mmmmm...Mmmmmmmmm.........! You just want to plunge in and eat everything. So rich, ripe and juicy. Juice all over you. Yum. And very white peach and nectarine smells for me. My two favourite fruits. When they're saying they're ready to be eaten!! Come and get me! Sink your teeth in, slurp and swoon!! I do get the flowers, mostly the lily-of-the-valley, and the other fruits, and they certainly help to make this a gloriously enjoyable perfume. I love it heaps.

I had a bottle of this back when it was first introduced and I loved it then and still love it now. I have Pacific Paradise which, while nice, can't hold a candle to Tropical Punch. It kind of smells like Hawaiian Punch but in a good way! Very fresh, fruity, airy and perfect for a sultry Summer day. When I get the cash I'm going to treat myself to a 3.4 oz bottle on Ebay or something. Yes, it IS rare & EXPENSIVE but, to my mind, TOTALLY worth it! If you can find a tester vial give it a try next Summer...I think you'll be hooked!

I bought this stuff for the first time when I was in Paris, France. I doused myself in it before going on tours and dinners. So now that's exactly what this fragrance reminds me of! It's the first one that I ever repurchased (4 or 5 times!), and I still have yet to use something as consistently as I did that (I have a major wandering eye with perfume). I still have one last bottle left that I keep cool, dark and treasured. It's a fruity floral, where the Florals a breezy and the Fruits are cool, and slightly tart

this is my all time favorite, hands down. its not only ridiculously expensive due the discontinuation of it but finding it isn't that easy either. it is an absolutely beautiful scent to anyone who adores fruits in their fragrance. and not just simplisitic fruit, either, quite the collection and mingling of fruit scents. so beautiful and yet so hard to find these days. if you manage to find some, smell it. its like a fruit explosion to the senses!

There's a "twin" perfume of it. It reminds me so much of it and lasts even more than the Tropical Punch. It's called "Fruity" and comes from a Greek cosmetic company, "Seventeen". Just google "seventeen cosmetics" and you'll find it. Unfortunatelly, there's no on line selling of its products. But in Greece they're almost in every cosmetics shop.

This is one of the first fragrances I bought. It was great summer fragrance back then, and still after many years it smells wonderfull (and brings back memories, of course). Fruity, not too sweet and flowery, perfect for warm summer days and evenings. Unfortunately it's discontinued, and I have not found unother summer punch quite like it.

Tropical Punch was a total, irresistible knockout for me when it was first introduced at the beginning of the noughties. No other fruity fragrance can ever come across TP in its vibrant, delicious, invigorating and teasingly sassy contents. I was SO hooked back then and I still am...as they say, true love never dies :)

This is a short review, 20 years after its release. The most intoxicating, least linear, and utterly perfectly balanced fruit/flower delivery of all Escada summer editions. Moreover: the white musk/amber ground layer brings depth and longevity long lost since in following summer series. LOVE!

Sharing is caring. I have a version of this I purchased on perfume-oils.com. If you need the nostalgia in your life, I cannot recommend this enough. It’s spot on. It gives me what I can no longer find, as any vintage bottle I’ve come across has gone off and rancid.

Tropical Punch was the best fragrance Escada ever put out! I wore it in the 2000's and wow did it garner compliments and of course it reminds me of my youth. I would queue round the block if they were to bring it out again!!!!!

2whit2quit is right! The oil dupe from perfume-oils.com is SPOT on! I just received mine and I have to say... I almost cannot tell the difference! I am going to order more nostalgic dupes from them and see how they turn out.

i only liked the tropcial punch from escada's summer line, so fruity and original!,regret for not buyin it :( and now it's soo rare *grrrr* all the newer summer perfumes smell te same..quite boring

I have very fond memories of this one, it was my wedding perfume back in 2002. Very beautiful, juicy scent.

Ugh. They just don't make them like they used to!!! Tropical Punch was PERFECTION!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not personally being a fan of overly sweet perfumes, I quite like this fragrance to my surprise. I find it has much more of a tropical citrus vibe on me rather than a "fruity sweet" scent; fresh, clean, a "light/soft" tropical twist and a sexy spiciness. It has lasting longevity with just the right amount of sillage, seeming to be a spicy citrus note that lingers for a good amount of time. It is perfectly nice on its own depending on the occasion it is being worn but also has powerful enough longevity imo to be very nicely layered with the more one dimensional, sharper fragrances if one is looking to add a bit of a twist to other favoured scents. Overall a lovely perfume to have in one's collection and diversity to play with it in a number of ways. ☺

Tuve que borrar mi primer comentario por que no le hice justicia a este gran perfume, es magnifico!!! huele dulce a durazno y flores, muy fresco y muy fuerte!! dura horas en mi piel, que por lo regular se chupa todos los perfumes. Cuando tengan la oportunidad de estar cerca de este perfume comprenlo, no se arrepentiran, yo por mi parte le di la calificación más alta, y eso que a mi no me convence cualquier perfume. lo malo es que es una edicion limitada que salió hace muchos años, por eso no desaprovechen la oportunidad de adquirirlo si lo encuentran!

White peach is really refreshing and real here. No vanilla, which is good. Only nice fruits and not too sweet. Don't think it's flowery fragrance. Yes, there is some flowers, but fruits are most prominent. It's light and not long lasting....but this is Escada and everybody here knows this house make their fragrances like that. But they are my favourite!

Hey there, is there somebody who can give me his or her empty Escada Tropical Punch 100ml 3.3 3.4 oz box. Just in case its in great condition ... cause im a collector and my box broke and now i am very sad about it, maybe someone can help me out, would be nice!!! Thanks alot

This is pleasant, light, fruity ... and exactly like my shampoo! Nothing unpleasant about this one. It's very suitable for simulating that 'just out of the shower' freshness, because it's basically the fragrance of a nice fruity shampoo :)

It's nice but definitely not for everyday use. The problem comes with its overpowering smell of soap!too sweet for my taste.

a summer fragrance. reminds me of my ex-girlfriend, i really like this on her in a hot day.

I have recently been feeling nostalgic about fragrances I first bought when I started working, and as that was a long time ago many of them no longer exist, or have been reformulated and are just not the same any more. I had a hankering for Escada's Tropical Punch, which I loved for its scent and longevity, but knew it was no longer available. Whilst in my local Superdrug, I saw Pepe Jeans Cocktail for Her on display - I have a number of Pepe Jeans fragrances and they are all pretty great and good value, so thought I would try it and it is a deadringer for Tropical Punch. Not only in scent but performance; as an eau de toilette it outguns some perfumes that I have. Now I just need some summer weather, so that I can wear it, as it is made for sunny days.

I don't get sweet from this, or fruity, I get floral. It reminds me of Clinique Happy. I will be sticking with Magnetism in the Escada line.

One of the few fragrances of my youth that I actually managed to finish a bottle of before it went bad. Bright, fruity, juicy, youthful—Tropical Punch was a fragrance with easy appeal. Nothing challenging to be found in the notes. There was no hidden complexity; it wasn't a fragrance you had to learn to like. It was just fun and sweet and delightfully uncomplicated. Juvenile (said with affection). Now that I'm in my 30s I wouldn't want to wear it, even if it weren't discontinued (well... maaaaybe on the occasional one-off deep in the dog days of summer, eating ice cream on the beach) but the nostalgia factor is so powerful that I almost want to want to wear it. It will always remind me of summer holidays as a teenager. You know, back in the days when I could actually feel emotions. For everyone looking for a good dupe, check out Faith by Swiss Arabian!

Why, this is a fun little number. I received a sample of this with an order and I figured, 'what the heck? let's give this baby a spin.' This is, by and large, not my usual taste, but I can appreciate it for what it is: tart, fruity, floral, and quite shampoo-like. I don't find it offensive at all, but in the realm of tropical fruits, I prefer the grand patriach/matriarch (?) of this that we know as Calyx by Prescriptives (now Clinique). Tropical Punch grows a bit more lactonic peachy as it dries down, with nary a butyrate to suggest that any of these fruits are all that natural. They are Disney fruits, with zero blemishes, frozen in time, never to decay or rot. It is pleasant and refreshing, a great conversation piece of its time, and it looks to be sadly long discontinued and fetching a pretty penny these days. Oh well.

I fell in love with Tropical punch as soon as I smelled it! I wore it everyday until I used it up and wish I would of took it easy and saved some... Terrible shame they can't bring it back in the full size. Very juicy, sexy scent! Only size offered is the 0.14oz or smaller and if you can find someone that can get you a nice big bottle of this fruit they want way too much for it. I was getting sooo many comments on how good I smelled when I was wearing this, and for a toilette it really had good staying power too. I think Escada should start bring it back seasonal for summer again. I still have the bottle too.

This is the first ever escada I smelled and I love it. I will never forget it. I want to add though - two people recommended fragrance-oils for a dupe and they are dead wrong. Sorry. I ordered tropical punch, rockin rio, and Ibiza hippie. Rockin rio smells good but I can’t say if it’s a 100% accurate dupe since I’m not familiar with the original. The other two do not smell anything like escada in fact they have an almost minty scent. Not a fan and cannot recommend this ‘dupe’.

Love love love Tropical Punch! Every fruity and/or exotic island type of fragrance I test in stores - I secretly hope it would remind me of Escada Tropical Punch. No such luck so far. When it just came out I bought one small bottle for myself, loved it immediately, and then bought two bottles as gifts for two of my friends. Now I actually regret giving those bottles away. I thought this gem of a fruity juicy magic potion would be available in stores for years to come.

This is an absolute favorite! There's none like it. I loved it back in early 2000s when it was first released and I'm fortunate to have a bottle now of this expensive rare gem. Tropical deliciousness with a warm undertone. The musk and amber is subtle and is more noticeable after it dries down. I love this one the most out of all of Escada's fruity fragrances. This one is the best!

This perfume will always be my favorite. One of the other makeup artists came back from lunch smelling like something wonderful. It was this. Its fresh and almost minty but not a mint smell. The fruit is a clean fruit smell. I dont smell amber or musk at all and its been my main one for years. I bought a ton, I think it was seasonal?

I had this perfume a LOONG time ago when I was 17, because of the bottle I thought it was a cheap perfume-bottle looks crappy cheap- But then it wasnt until recently I found out that this perfume is actually expensive lol. It smells fresh and so tropical smells good, but I am more into vanilla and caramel sexy smells

Escada PLEASE sell this perfume again! Because I’m in love with it and I cannot have it :( Also this isn’t a fruit/sweet bomb like most other Escada perfumes. This is a fruity Clinique happy and I find it so unique PS: lasting power not amazing (like 4 hours) but that’s ok, I can reapply

This was my first ever non-drugstore perfume. I was about 14, and I begged my mom to buy it for me. It's not my style these days, but I wish I could find it again just for the memories. Escada scents these days seem to be a lot less complex, but it could just be my nostalgia talking.

I love this perfume. It's my favorite one of all time. I think it's the best of all the Escada fragrances. I bought it in Rome in 2001. I'm going to wear it on my wedding day. It's not too sweet. It's airy and light.

I got this as a sample off of Ebay. To me, the only Escadas I can distinguish from the others are Moon Sparkle, Ocean Lounge, and this one. Fresh and clean..DOES live up to its name. But nothing special.:)

Gosh, I used to LOVE this perfume! It was my very first Escada.
