Drunk Apple Pie

This perfume smells exactly like the warm, cinnamon-dusted crust of a pie fresh out of the oven. It’s incredible! I put it on at 7am on a cold and dark December morning, and the warm and cozy spice of home-baked cinnamon aroma instantly lifted my mood. It’s not a harsh or sharp spice at all, nothing like the spicy edge of men’s fragrances such as Spicebomb, red musk, or traditional male musks. Instead, it’s a soft, comforting, baked-cinnamon warmth. Now, on my way home from work at 4 pm the sillage has softened, but the fragrance is still very much present. What has dried down is now more of a sweet musky slightly unisex scent. I’m genuinely delighted by the little dopamine boost this scent gave me in the morning. Maybe it’s the power of suggestion from the name, but I also pick up a fresh but warm and comforting baked almost like baked apple, even though other reviewers say that note isn’t actually there. Last but not least it leans much more toward a sweet, feminine praline and vanilla vibe than anything unisex.

A couple of years ago, I went to a party, and I kept catching whiffs of freshly baked apple pie. I thought the host had actually made an apple pie, but when I learnt that wasn't the case, I started looking for the source. I finally found it - it was a girl wearing Lush's Cardamom Coffee solid perfume, which at that time had recently been discontinued. I have been searching for that elusive realistic apple pie scent ever since. (Yes, I did sample the liquid Cardamom Coffee scent - it is not the same.) Naturally, I had to sample Drunk Apple Pie, and it actually scratches the same itch! It's a very edible buttery cinnamon. Not boozy at all. It doesn't smell like coffee, but perhaps the coffee note is what makes it remind me of Cardamom Coffee? It's a shame it's marketed as a dupe of Angels' Share. They're not twins, nor are they sisters... Maybe second cousins? To me, Angels' Share is very boozy and has a very sharp spiciness.

Got a sample pack of essnce's autumn picks and this was by far my favorite! Warm, boozy, cinnamony but not in an overwhelming way - its a soft kind of fragrance even though the projection is nice and moderate. I tend to lean unisex and this is more femme but the right guy could definitely pull this off too. I've been wearing this all autumn and already have some nice memories associated with it :)

This smells very good. Better than angels share. Its sweeter and smells more gourmand than the original. I think this smells almost exactly like swedish cinnamon buns. I think this is more female, but men could also wear it.

Smells really good and a good clone of angel share!

Inspired by Angel's Share, I haven't tried it so can't compare. By the reviews on it, these don't seem too similar. This is a nice cinnamon fragrance. A bit sweet and spicy, barely a hint of boosy, the cognac isn't prominent. The woody notes make it less gourmand, it has a light and dry feel. A good unisex scent for fall and winter, leans more masculine to me. Not really a scent for me though, I would've liked it sweeter and more gourmand, less wood. I wanted that apple pie! The name and marketing feels a bit misleading. Tested a sample, worn a few times.

Very good fragrance i don't know how angels share smell so i don't know how accurate it is. But it smells good.

pure cinnamon on my skin, which i dont vibe with but i can see it having layering potential. essnce is very good at photorealistic scents ive noticed!

I got an ad for this scent on instagram. It was filled with apple pie imagery and I got unfortunately influenced. I decided to order a 2 ml vial of this scent alongside two others to try them out - they have no atomiser so it may be affecting the scent. Upon first application, it smells like sugar and booze then becomes more lactonic with time. I find that it smells really cheap - it reminds me of Miss Kay’s “Soft Cuddle” scent which I got for less than 10 euros. Both scents have this lactonic note to it. I don’t mind it in Miss Kay, but I was disappointed by the smell in this one. I expected more cinnamon and apple - this is a weird blend of god knows what... the notes don’t seem to mesh together very well. I also find that each of the ESSNCE vials I got have this (pardon my language) pussy smell to it. Not like a bad fishy smell... more like clean pussy smell. I have no idea what a clean pussy smells like but my brain apparently thinks it smells like ESSNCE :/

Just straight up alcohol. It has an overpowering bitterness, I barely get any of the other notes. I feel the name is very misleading.

This doesn’t smell like Killian’s Angels’ Share. But in a good way! While Angels’ Share just smells like someones alcoholic breath to me, this perfume actually smells like cinnamon. It is initially very spicy with a heavy dose of cinnamon, but as it wears on the cinnamon start to sit in the background and the perfume becomes a lot more fresh and musky. While there aren’t listed any notes of pine or musk, it does give of those notes to me and reminds me of a typical male cologne/aftershave (in a good way) sprinkled with cinnamon. I would still consider it a unisex perfume. Can highly recommend :-)

This perfume is veeery boozy and is fit for winter and fall ONLY. I thought this would be more gourmand, but it's not - there is a light sweetness to it, but it's not that noticeable. This is a lovely scent fit for both women and men. I usually don't like unisex perfumes because I want to smell as feminine as possible, but if you have sweet vanilla to this as layering - you're a walking, talking sweet apple pie that makes Snow White's pie look like a joke. I love it! 🍎🥧

To me this is so good!! it dosen’t smell like an apple pie. I dont smell an apple scent because its not in it. Its spicy, its boozy, its kind of sweet from the praline. This is so well done! I never smelled anything like it! Love it on a man! Drunk apple pie is darker and intriguing.. its sensual, its sexy. Its so special! If you want a uniq and boozy dark perfume this is for you! I love it!

Interestingly enough this doesn't smell as much as Angel Share as I thought. When I first smelled it, I thought it would be another angle share dupe. Yes, it opens similar but when it dries down a bit it way more smokey.
