Bronze Goddess Aegea

I’ve been looking for light, airy, fresh scents for the hottest days of summer, and for that criteria this is an absolute win. On first sniff I find it very evocative; it definitely has those Aegean vibes! The opening is green, a tad citrusy, lots of violet leaf. A touch ozonic. After about 30 minutes it becomes sweeter and creamier, with the coconut milk becoming the dominant note against a background of watery florals. I’ve got to say, I love it. This is a surprise to me as normally I prefer scents that the neighbourhood can smell, and this one is quiet, clean, effortlessly sexy and put-together. It creates an intimate bubble of sweet yet refreshing scent, and never comes anything close to cloying. It’s everything I hoped, and absolutely perfect for summer. It’s not the longest lasting, but tbh I wouldn’t expect it to be; crazy longevity is not the assignment here and I’m happy to respray.

I completely agree with the review below. This scent feels light, watery, and green—with the coconut note leaning toward coconut water rather than coconut milk. It’s elegant and very office-appropriate. It bears ZERO resemblance to the original and doesn’t have any similarity with Philosykos or other fig-dominant perfumes either. I also pick up a tea note. There’s a similarity to Armani Prive Figuier Eden, but this is a more ethereal and dewy take. I have never tried Un Jardin En Mediterranee, but this is what I expect it to smell like. Update: after a few wears, that tea not is definitely becoming more prominent, keeping it earthy. I am now getting the fig and the association with Philosykos, but its faint and fleeting. Update 2: this pairs ridiculously well with LV Imagination

On my skin the fig smells more like a whole tree than just the nectar. It’s very leafy, green, and fresh. A bit of coconut water in the background. I quite like it but it’s definitely more of a fresh, seaside perfume to me than a tropical, coconutty one. That actually makes it a bit more suitable for my climate so I think it’ll be more of an everyday spring/summer scent than one I’d maybe save for vacation.

I feel the OG bronze goddess is a bit sickening and..cloying in a weird way. But this, this is a good one - it's fresh, flowery, citrusy and creamy at the same time. Now with that being said.. this really shines on humid skin. Definitely best in summertime (or for when your skin is hot). The dry down is really good. On me it ́s like "my skin, but muuuch better".

I think this is one of the most realistic fragnances I've ever tried on. No sweetness at all but coconut smell, violet leaf, flowers scents are so realistic and feminine. It is also a different perfume, not basic, but also not ugly like some other different/niche perfumes. Ending is so musky, this is the only thing I didn't like. My rating is 7.5/10

I like this, but I've got my summer tray done already. Smells quite unique as a summer time scent against bronze goddess og that is the definition of the summer scent. It's very Greecian summer with the figs and citrus. If you need a scent for the summer still, this is a great one to try. Maybe next year.

I bought this last summer and thought it was fresh everyday scent. Now that the weather is getting nice and pulling this out again, I’m in love. This is like a sea breeze, it’s extremely translucent and radiant. And I get whiffs of it during the day and it feels like a wind.

I love it. If you love D&G Light Blue, Versace Dylan Turquoise - you get where I'm going with this. Then you will definitely love this too 🩵 it's light, airy and fresh 🌊sharper on the opening but it will be with bergamot and ylang ylang. Dries to a soft clean musk. Perfect.

This is a BEAUTIFUL fragrance. I wouldn’t say it is too similar to the OG at all but the vibes are definitely there. This is a much fresher, and more elegant version in my opinion. Will be my go-to summer fragrance for sure. I might have to stock up on this.

Natura morta description of your summer vacation in Greece or Turkey. A bit different than other typical beachy perfumes. It's like after the fact. I think it's so beautiful and gorgeous and worth having.

Took a sniff for the first time a few days ago. Looooooove it. 100% Mediterranean summer fragrance. Hello Greece and Italy!

The 2025 flanker of Bronze Goddess is far off the original line DNA. What I mean by that is that Bronze Goddess Aegea is a standalone scent, that retains from the original line DNA just the coconut (which is prominent only in the mid and dry down) and the sandalwood, which isn’t very easy to notice in this composition. No vanilla, no tiare, no tropical sweetness. The Aegea flanker has two separate phases, so it’s not a linear scent, like most are nowadays. The opening is very green and fresh, almost ozonic, mostly violet green leaves and citrus, and has absolutely nothing to do with the OG Bronze Goddess scent profile. In about twenty to thirty minutes, it gets better and sweeter, fruitier and creamier, losing the initial harshness of the terrible opening. Now, one can see some resemblance between this 2025 flanker and the previous versions, thanks to a very creamy, tropical feeling coconut note. For me, once that the scent goes past the first half an hour it’s all about fig, coconut milk and jasmine. Side rant, don’t get why some companies add bougainvillea in their perfumes, because trust me, it has no scent!! It’s a beautiful, vibrant flower, typical to Aegean area indeed, but has absolutely no smell! I have been severely times to Greece and last time about a month ago, so in this flower’s case, I can definitely spot when the companies add some notes just to make the scent appear more interesting than it actually is. So to me, that’s more marketing strategy than anything else... I have purchased a bottle of this because I love fig dominant scents (I am in a fig phase) and because the scent and the aesthetic of the packaging makes me indeed think of Aegean area/Greece! And I bought it during a sale and a point event combined, so I am making sure I am getting a good deal because in all honesty, it’s not a truly remarkable perfume. I love how it smells, but I wouldn’t buy it for full price because it’s not a strong scent and the opening is really not my style. I am still to decide if I am keeping it for myself or I’ll just gift it to someone close in my family... To sum it up, don’t get this 2025 version blindly, based on the fact that you loved previous Bronze Goddess iterations. Those are your sweet, creamy, coconuty/vanilla/tiare/ylang ylang dominant perfumes. This is completely different! Bronze GoddAegea is an unique scent, compared to the rest of the line, less tropical and less sweet. Some might like that, some might not!

i love this scent! does it last? no! but it’s the perfect scent for summer when youre inside mostly and outside some. it’s very gentle but has that great scent that you keep seeking it. where did they get their inspiration? from my great aunts fridgerator in the summer specifically. her fridg smelled like watermelon, cucumber, water, and some watercolor form of flower water. this is one of my great summer beach scents. i gave it a like because of it’s longevity issues.

This is lovely! This is the first BG limited edition I like. I think the figue in combination with bergamot is making this somewhat juicy/fruity. This is very similar to Aerin’s Mediterranean Honeysuckle Figue, also limited edition. Weird how they have two similar products in the same year. I think both would be great for summer, especially BG Aegea, which feels slightly more tropical with a hint of coconut.

BG Aegea is aquatic and light. A little floral with a soft oceanic vibe. I’m not getting “fruity” as much as a fresh sea breeze with some flowers in the background. It’s not a really strong projection, but it appropriate for Spring/Summer. I like the scent more than the original.

Not going to lie, this smells like salted tortilla chips in the opening. Must be the fig and bergamot? After about 30 minutes you get nice, soft, natural-smelling coconut sand....think individual grains of sand. Graceful, summery, subtle elegance.

This is sadly too "figgy" for me, goes a bit powdery and musky on skin at first but then it's just fig, fig, fig. I do like it but it reminds me too much of Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea Fig, which is much cheaper and wasn't my favorite.
