Bronze Goddess Flora Verde

I picked up a bottle of this because it was cheap and then found it a bit too heavy on the coconut for my liking. Put it away. Decided it would be perfect for a beach holiday so I brought it along and my gosh — this scent has completely grown on me and I’m now obsessed with it. There’s a very clear floral, apparently it’s meant to be gardenia but to me it smells like a very clean jasmine that shines through, backlit by a warm glow of sunlight. If there’s sandalwood in this, it’s only detectable by that warmth. To me it gives off a very yellow, almost pineapple impression, which combined with the coconut (which I now adore) makes it a perfect hot weather, carefree, beachy fragrance for any age. I disagree with another reviewer below that it smells like something rich people would wear — to me it doesn’t have that “dripping with money” smell, it’s more a fragrance that doesn’t care about bank balances and is ready to skip work and drink piña coladas and watch the waves roll in. Longevity isn’t amazing, it isn’t a powerhouse fragrance and I spray it more than most of my perfumes, but it does well for a few hours. I liked it well enough in the shop to purchase it, but I had no idea how much I would come to love it and am planning on grabbing a backup bottle. Currently wearing it to bed and can’t wait to spray it again in the morning!

This flanker is halfway between the original Bronze Goddess Eau Fraiche and Guerlain’s Terracotta. I like it, a lot. It’s not as floral potent as Terracotta in the opening but like I said, it’s halfway there and they both settle into a very similar drydown. However, Flora Verde is missing that addictive Tiare Flower note.

30. April 2024 Tried it on my skin yesterday and really like it soo much that even test wore it the whole day. The bottle it beauuuuuutiful, the scent is similar to Bronze Goddess, but not as fresh as the Fraiche version, somewhere in between and fir me perfectly balanced. I was also surptied by lasting power and projection, was really good, solid 5 hrs. So far for me the best BG version i have tried (and i tried almost all of them). I might even end up buying the bottle.

This is really pleasant. Smells fresh and floral sweet. It’s a bit aquatic and very summery, at the same time, it’s inoffensive and elegant. It a great choice if you want something soft for hot days. You will smell like a rich woman!

I've wear every summer Bronze Goddess since its avaible. My all time fav is the original Bronze Goddess eau fraiche. So this version is similar but sweetless and more floral like the original. I like it!

Definitely don't need this if you have the BG eau f. (Nothing like Bronze Goddess perfume.) But it does have extra screech on the front end and is slightly more floral. I prefer the Nuit flanker for something different.

While not my preferred scent profile, this is very strong and projects—a bit too much since I am not a fan of this type of composition. I spritzed several times over Flora with another perfume, but this BG flanker dominates. Flora is closer to eau fraiche than EDP, which is entirely warm without any discernible citrus or fresh notes. The flora bottle is chic. Only comes in 1.7 oz as a limited edition. Much more expensive, too. I imagine a lot of people will find this enjoyable.

Blind bought this for the beautiful bottle. It smells like a perfect mix between gucci bloom profumo di fiori and tom ford soleil blanc. It’s musky yet summery (the coconut water stands out) but it could be perceived as a bit screechy by some. i definitely like it and the packaging is absolutely stunning. Update: getting this before the end of summer has been the best idea. It’s been mostly the only perfume i’ve used the entire month of august, it’s just so inoffensive and summery, I couldn’t see myself using anything else. I wonder if it could somehow be suited for autumn/winter as well, I guess I will experiment, because I’m gonna miss using this one.

Macys had it out at the counter so I gave it a try. It is nearly identical to the og Bronze Goddess from their line. Very subtle differences if any. I was so shocked I had to go back and give it another spritz and same thoughts. I was expecting something different based on the notes. It's pretty and the longevity and sillage is good but if you have the og you don't need both.

Too similar to Bronze Goddess Eau Fraiche to justify owning both. Also if you have Hibiscus Palm, Soleil Blanc, etc. you most likely don’t need it.

Is this not the usual Bronze Goddess yearly release that they launched previously during summertime?!? Now released in January... 🤔🤔
