Yes, this frag is similar to CH CH and has the same longevity a sillage. It's a bit less sugar sweet and that is compensated by a bit more vanilla. Actually I prefer it this way. I don't detect any cucumber or excess pepper. It starts with light Bergamote + other citrus and touch; Quickly installs a sweet floral facets - violet a very nice saffron and jasmin, seasoned with nutmeg. In the base you will scent a sweet woodsy strong vanilla /leather body, with a hint of (very nice) amber and vétiver, all very well balanced, pleasant, interesting, elegant and kind of sexy. Sillage and longevity are average with 1.5/2 hours of average projection and 6/8 hours longevity.

CH Men is one of my favorites so I picked-up a bottle of Estiara E-Homme for shits 'n grins. I do not consider it to be an clone of CH Men, but it certainly has better than a 60% similarity to the aforementioned scent. To me the differences are E-Homme is is much spicier (saffron, pepper and nutmeg) and singe your nose hairs if you smell it too closely. Moreover, it is less sweet (one-half as sweet, not syrupy, and with a sharper tone) and I detect an aquatic cucumber and sour-cream vibe for the first 10-15 minutes before it disappears. Performance appears to be on-par with my CH Men (2013) versions, but I'll update as I wear this one over the coming days. Quick heads-up: don't sniff this one too closely during the first hour or it will burn your sinuses and possibly give you a headache. Update: my initial impression hasn't changed too much other than to mention E-Homme is more like 75% similar to CH Men during the heart. The drydown is slightly different in that E-Homme is a bit more woody and has, actually, has a sharpness to it from top-to-bottom. It has been cold outside so both frags are performing equally poorly on my skin (about 3-hours max and both sit close to the skin). CH Men is a warm weather scent so I get much better performance in the Spring/Summer months. Update 2: the more I use this fragrance, the less I enjoy it. This one goes on smelling like alcohol and hairspray, and that hairspray takes at least 30-minutes to disappear. E-Homme cannot hold a candle to CH Men IMO.

Sugar cane...Leather...the presence of leather is outstanding, the swetness of the sugar cane, its totally Unique. The longevity its aceptable. I use a good trick to maintain the smell on me. I hidrated My skin with oil...gently. Then I spray Estiara ...I wait still the alcohol dries up. Then I apply again oil on my skin...and again my Fragance. Four to five Sprays are enough to maintain the fragance alive...to the extent that My noose notice the fragrance the whole day. Today I applied it at 8:30 am...and still now The fragrance is alive. 17:31 pm. I really Loved this amazing fragrance. The leather and the sugar cane dominates...from the begining to the end. (A little note of tobacco I perceived also)

My untrainer newbie nostrils detect freshly cut cucumber seasoned with pepper. It's a nice scent.

Really? I was about to buy this thinking it's a clone of ch Men as I was told it is.
