Debut

I'm really enjoying Aigner Debut -- I'm on the edge of love with it, in fact. It's sharp green-white orange blossoms up top, like orange blossom hotel soap from the 1970's. It has that sharp, cold sweetness, too, that I experience in the spring here in Southern California when the orange and lemon blossoms are blooming in the early spring and I feel like I just CAN'T shut the doors and windows even though it's getting f***ing cold out -- it's that intoxicating! It has this sweet watery coolness that's just lovely, and the drydown is so pretty, like very light honey. It's definitely similar to Elie Saab Le Parfum that I have and love, but it doesn't have the strong honey note that ES LP has; it's simpler and cleaner and less operatic or statement-y than that strong beauty. If you're an orange blossom lover, as I am, you may enjoy adding Aigner Debut to your orange blossom collection.

A citrusy floral scent. I bought it couple year ago and didnt like it so much. Bought it simply because i love its bottle, so simple and introvert. After years, the juice is still quite full lol i used it rarely ... i event lost its cap and box.. didnt put so much attention to this perfume. Just sit there in my shelf for years... And today suddenly i fall in love with this perfume.. an old brand new scent to me. Fresh, light, clean and so rich with mixed fruit scents. A tropical scent... and dry down is not so sweet i think because top and hearts is more dominant...i dont know about perfumery i just feel what i feel... i like it so much and wont take granted for the second time with this gem. Projection and sillage is moderate, and price is affordable so for me is a YES.

Blind bought this one and it's my first Aigner perfume. I would say it smells very powdery fresh not to mention citrusy-floral as well ! Once it touches the surface of my skin and clothes, the top notes started to come out and it is very citrusy fresh type of scent. My fav part is after around1 min the top notes calmed and blended with the middle notes which is soft floral scent. It turns to powdery in the dry down also soapy. Not the scent that I love in the first sniff because of that strong citrus, but it is definitely getting a lot of my attention as I always go back to this perfume when I want to stand out by smelled different. The major drawback is that the very poor longevity. It lasted max 3 hour on fabric, while on the skin maybe only 1 hour ish :((

I tried Debut this morning at a local drugstore where I went to buy something totally irrelevant, but as a devoted Fragrantica member, I never leave a chance to try perfumes pass me by! I love drugstores, I can spend hours looking around, especially browsing the cosmetic and perfume shelves where I can find little treasures such as this. Spicy candied fruits on a musky base with sultry flowers!!! Started fresh but quickly settled without ever becoming really sweet, it kept me good company through the whole day. It even survived a one hour and a half Yoga session, but not the shower that followed. Impressive longevity, around nine hours and even if it's not loud it kept projecting, people coming near me could smell it and I received two compliments?! This isn't unique nor groundbreaking but it is beautiful and cheery! I'm getting a bottle to enjoy during this still cold rainy spring the soonest possible and I suggest that if you see it, try it!!!

Had a chance to sample. Goes on sharp and green fresh. In the sea of samples and new flankers, this fragrance was rather unique and pleasing. It is light and airy, low/moderate sillage. In terms of longevity it develops and dries down into a lovely musky still citrus-lily scent that does last for several hours; 4+ on skin, longer on fabric. Beautiful bottle, but over-priced.
