First Class Explorer

It's as if a bottle of the 2018 Moustache threw out its oily, bronzen leather jacket, lost some weight, gobbled a few handfuls of the Swizzels Parma Violets (definitely) and Barratt's Refreshers round tablet sweets/candy beloved of many of us Brits, and rolled around in some kind of musky-ass patchouli plantation in cool, damp, perhaps even wintry weather. (There's some iris-adjacent snowy powderiness from the violet and, I suppose, the lavender, with the patchouli eagerly singing the bass part of the harmony.) It's much better than it sounds. I find Moustache a little classier and more impressive but that's a common thing.

I agree with the reviews regarding the quality of this fragrance, for this price you get a gorgeous bottle and flacon ( always a plus at this price ). Not easy to describe because the blend is perfect, there's a nice fresh-spiciness throughout, to me pink pepper, rose, violet and grapefruit are the most recognizable notes. It feels clean and easy to wear yet it's undeniably classy and elegant. It's surprising no one mentioned the Rochas Moustache EDP comparison, there is a definite similar vibes, might be the pink pepper-rose combo. They feel equally elegant, yet this one would be easier to pull in the heat.

I tried both First Class and FC Explorer. I think FC Explorer is more interesting. It has more appeal. While it's still got the FC vibe, as flanker it has more character in my opinion. This can be all year round, but in summer you have to be more careful, do not overspray, especially in the day. Night is more appropriate for FC Explorer. I think, AIGNER is underrated. Really, Frag YouTube should've done more review about the perfumes from this brand.

Another great release from Aigner. It has DNA of First Class, but more playful and floral. Fresh, cheerful, uplifting, not too sweet. Still very office appropriate and absolute mass appealing, day or night, any season. One of the best designer fragrance IMHO. I think it deserves more highlights.

This scent is just beautiful, sweet fruity and aromatic, so underrated one of the best scent i bought in 2019. If i had a youtube channel i would hype this gem hard.

This opens with a nice blast of citrus, and a significant aromatic hit from lavender and jasmine, but these are relatively short-lived. The main accords, however, that last from start to finish, are nutmeg/cinnamon and patchouli. The nutmeg/cinnamon gives this some warm dark tones and an air of mystery. The patchouli is mineralic and earthy in a photorealistic style, meaning there is actually an element of dark, moist soil in this. These two elements are the field of play until the 90 minute mark, when the vanilla, musk and amber step forward, with hints of cedar in the background. Despite the note listings, I can guarantee that a fragrance at this very low price point does not contain true ambergris. I like this, but I don't love this. Part of the issue is that this doesn't last a long time, and that as it begins to tail off, you are getting only dark, smooth basenotes. If this happened at 6 hours, it wouldn't be an issue, but this begins at 2 hours with my skin chemistry. If the advertised vetiver made a contribution, or if there was more cedar, they would provide a counterpoint that this is missing, and would make it more interesting. For the price, it is a good juice, and I don't regret blind buying it - it just won't end up in any of my Top 10 lists unless I do one for "Fragrances That Cost Under $20".

It's a fresh, fruity, slightly floral kind of blue fragrance for the more mature gentleman. You get the citruses and pink pepper and cardamom on opening, the cardamom combines well with the violet and rose. The drydown is a comforting mix of patchouli and ambergris with the woods and grass that comes across a bit Creed like. Nice safe scent for 30+ buyers. It's also unisex leaning I think. Some women could easily wear this. Worth a 7/10.

I got this as s gift, and at first it seemed quite nice but a few wears later it started smelling like dumpster juice. But not just any dumpster, but a dumpster full of rotten fruits and vomit. Whenever I smell it I just want my nose to be chopped off. Everytime I tried to give this fragrance a chance I started to gagging. It's really bad. If you like smelling like you just finished dumpster diving in a trash full of rotten fruits and vomit then this is your fragrance. But smell wise it absolutely fucking sucks. Just straight up dookie. I don't know what we're they thinking when they made this, but it genuinely fucking sucks. If you enjoy it, then go for it I guess but you will never catch me wearing this. Just🤮🤮🤮 (for me atleast)

I really hoped this would be a freshier version of First Class. It’s not, to be honoust I don’t smell any difference to the original First Class. And as First Class smells exactly what the name indicates, this also is an excellent cologne, very sophisticated and outstanding. It resembles nothing (except the original, that is ☺️). Perfect for a date, officesafe, longitivity and sillage are good. I really love Aigner colognes, and this is no exception. Try it if you can, you won’t regret it.

Iam extremely pleasantly surprised by the quality of this fragrance. very natural, sweet floral with a warm base. I expected a good scent and I got a very, very good one. I recommend.
