A Place We Call Home

For me, APWCH reminds me of Bali beach and spa. So in the opening you will smell a very floral-y scent that dominated by frangipani and a little bit jasmine. The floral notes are airy, not too heavy and it represents summer very well. It lasts so for a few hours until it gets into a musky state. In my skin the dry down is soft but still radiate a nice projection. The muskiness on my skin smells like a baby shampoo. I got complimented on this perfume, and it lasts very well, about 8-10 hours on my skin despite of my outdoor activities and motorcycle rides

The aroma perfectly reminds you of Bali. On the opening, you will be indulged by creamy frangipani, incensy but really elegant. It has a whiff of calming ocean breeze with a light sweetness of mandarin orange. The mid to drydown phase is my favorite, pretty lactonic and calming! I can smell the leather here, so subtle but it synchronize with the other notes pretty well, balancing everything elegantly It feels like I’m enjoying my holiday trip when I use this perfume. Looks simple but super unique! I love it💕

Superb fragrance. For me it smells incense, sandalwood, jasmine, frangipani. Very soft and super comforting. Longevity is very good on my skin it lasted all day. Love it!

It smells fresh, salty, a little bit flowery and airy. As written on the notes, there is a citrusy scent in the opening. It reminds you of holiday, beach, and sun.

It's a good fragrance. Captures the essence of sitting at the beach while getting kissed by the sun. What i love about this is the existence of the perfect amount of "leather" note. It smells absolutely divine and unique! Thank you, Gia for creating APWCH!

It reminds you with Bali's beach.

The first time I bought a sample and sprayed it, the scent felt much more potent than it did after a longer maceration period. the fresh juice from the online store had a very strong waxy floral character. I can see why some people associate it with frangipani, but instead of reminding me of a beach, it actually brought to mind a soap factory. The dense floral note was so prominent that it immediately dominated my perception. as the juice continued to macerate, the scent became softer and more balanced, though the overall profile remained the same. The waxy floral aspect was still there, but a subtle leather nuance became more noticeable in the background. To my nose, the fragrance is essentially a waxy floral, leather, and woody composition. I don't get any oceanic qualities from it at all. Perhaps some people associate it with the ocean because that's the story or imagery attached to it. One thing I will say is that when I visited a Chanel boutique, it reminded me a little of Misia. There was a familiar atmosphere that felt somewhat like a place we call home. In that sense, Etre shares a certain quality with Misia and could be a great option if you're a fan of that fragrance. a few of my friends enjoy this perfume and consider it quite beautiful. Personally, though, it's not really my style.

I bought this perfume because according to the reviews this reminds you of Bali. I doubted to buy it at the first place because I personally don't like incense. But I gave the benefit of the doubt and I thought this is still not my type of fragrance. The incense really takes over the whole fragrance (again, bcs I don't like incense so its really noticable in my nose) and I cannot find other notes besides of the incense and slight leather. But for you who don't mind incensy perfume, this will be great.
