TRIP na Estrada

Trip na Estrada was launched in 2016, being the second variation (flanker) of the Trip line, whose original fragrance reached our market in 2011. Now, the explorer man chooses other routes, crossing rivers, climbing mountains, etc. Trip na Estrada has a woody-spicy fragrance with notes of basil, artemisia, saffron, nutmeg, lemon, and mandarin, on the top of the olfactory pyramid. In the center of the composition, notes of ginger, black pepper, cedar, violet, and cardamom were combined. In the base, notes of vetiver, amber, cedar, patchouli, tobacco, and the exclusive accord of the brand, called Segredo de Eudora. On the skin, Trip na Estrada worked in the opposite way to the experience I had with Trip Itacaré. If in the other, the fragrance started well and evolved into something inexpressive, in this one the output is not powerful – to the point of making me buy a bottle on a visit to the store –, but the evolution pleases. Trip na Estrada starts with a smell of sour lemon mixed with a lot of nutmeg and artemisia. Then, a lighter side appears, which is when the ginger becomes more noticeable. Pepper and cardamom reign during this evolutionary phase and the spicy nuances gain strength. The fragrance becomes more pleasant and the woody olfactory path begins to become more alive. The base has woody nuances, however, light (do not expect the smell of dense trees or rainforest). Trip na Estrada is not a perfume that exudes a lot of quality, but it pleases those who usually seek woody fragrances. Also, within this aspect, it does not carry a very dated personality, which helps to confer a certain...let me say...versatility. However, in terms of performance, it was below Trip Itacaré, at least on my skin. The bottle repeated the visual pattern and style of the last version, this time bringing a painting with a dirt road through the trees, transmitting an off-road style.
