Lucid Dream

This is absolutely beautiful, smells like candy floss, rose is dominant buts its a soft airy sweet rose, when you first spray, you tbink oh its too sticky sweet but it smooths out! its not super strng but can imagine it will last and linger all day with a lovely light smell. 7/10

I like this perfume a lot. It is floral, but it is also kind of mysterious and awesome. I am guessing it's the davana, smoke and osmanthus that I am loving so much. I definitely would like a full bottle of this one.

First Impression: nice scent. Sweetened rose and osmanthus. I have a love hate thing with osmanthus but it's well done here. The smoke blend smells slightly leathery and the sweetness is hard to identify. Maybe tonka idk. Performance seems suspect but the smell is good so far. Leans 70% feminine

Hmmm.. Incredible rose osmanthus sweet blend! This is soft sweet rose and osmanthus, i believe it has sweet davana. Dpn't get fooled with the notes mentioned above specially the patchouli, and the smoke cause it's not neither! it's sweet rosy and kind of gourmand. Brilliant.

I'm on my second sample of this perfume, and I'm glad I decided to test it again because my experience this time around is so different... What I recall from my first time trying this scent: Sweet, floral rose and osmanthus blended together with incense supporting from the back. This time around: A puff of smoke that takes some time to fade before candied rose comes out to play. Pepper and incense remains throughout but is much more subdued. A fall and winter fragrance. It's sweet and feminine. Quiet and subdued enough that it can be worn pretty much anywhere, though I'd consider it more funereal and serious rather than celebratory.

Absolutely perfunctory rose patchouli based perfume from Ex Idolo after some real gems like Thirty Three. The perfume opens with notes of citruses, surrounded by hints of davana and pepper. The heart is mostly rose with hints of osmanthus. The base is all patchouli mostly with hints of incense. Unisex with good projection, silage and longevity. This has been done so many times before and so much better that it is not even worth pursuing. However if you are looking for a new Floriental that’s really inoffensive give it a try. Enjoy.

Sharp smokey cologne accord that dries down into a patchouli rose with syrupy fruits. It sounds good on paper, but the overpowering synthetic smoke and rose make this peppery and cloying. It reminds me of the local dry cleaner’s where they burn Nag Champa incense to cover the chemical odors; the combination makes my nose itch from the moment I walk in. Good blending could have saved this, but as-is it’s a headache-inducing scrubber.

Open- smoke and gasoline, harsh. Lasts 20 minutes. Heart- a typical patchouli rose made more interesting by a very fruity osmanthus/davana combo. Lasts 4-5 hours. Base/dry down- no dark notes remain. It’s now a candied fruit drop with just a hint of rose essence. Lasts another 4-5 hours on skin. Overall I think I liked Lucid Dream, it’s a strange mix of expected and familiar stuff (the rose and patchouli bit) and then the other unexpected sides to it, like the extreme fruitiness. The open is tough and the end may be too candy-like for many people but I did truly enjoy the middle stage. Still, I’m not tempted to buy even a larger decant than what I have. 6.5/10.

This is rose and patchouli which typically I like. I usually test samples and decants out at night, so that I don’t wear something I might regret to work. I wore this 3 different nights and each time I woke up with a migraine. For me it’s cloying. Every time I sniff the tank top it was on, I get head pain. Oh well. Also, for something I have smelled by so many other brands the name of this one just made me think it was going to be incredible. The name of a fragrance sets expectations, and then oftentimes the juice falls short. For me, that’s the case with Lucid Dream. I do absolutely adore Love & Crime by this brand.

Very comforting fall fragrance. Dry-down reminds me of By The Fireplace (BTF) A Lot. This is not as strong as BTF though. A more floral version of BTF for sure. Do not see the value in owning both. Overall, love the fragrance, it's calming and feel-good.

Quite similar to Initio Side Effect, though with inferior performance. Just as with Side Effect, I like this but don't think it's worth getting.
