Fleur Narcotique Extrait de Parfum

So I went to the mall to smell Blue Talisman Extrait (which I bought) after seeing all the reviews and all the hype. This is my first time smelling anything from this house so I took the opportunity to smell a range of their products. My top 3 that had me at the counter for around 30 minutes trying to decide was this, BT Extrait and Hedonist. I am a masculine guy and even though something in my mind that tells me this leans slightly feminine than unisex down the middle, I am conflicted that I can pull this off. The florals in this one is sooo well done. I sprayed this on the wrist of my hoodie at around 9PM and the nextt day (the day of writing this review) it is still kicking! without having to bring this to my nose which I still do. It is so addicting and now I am considering returning BT Extrait to exchange for this. It's clean, mood lifting, airy but still a bit dense, sophisticated, it's just a wonderful blend. The reason why I think I can pull this off is because it reminds me of Lacoste Blanc which is a floral male fragrance. Think of Lacoste as a guy who drives Mercedes, lives in a penthouse, has a Rolex and is a millionaire, well this fragrance would be his older brother who gets chauffeured around in a Rolls Royce, has a Beverly Hills Mansion, wears AP watches and he is a billionaire. I have Blue Talisman EDP on my other hoodie sleeve and this one is kicking its ass in terms of projection and longevity. This also reminds me of one of my all time favourite fragrances (Another 13 and Noir by Night Atelier) they don't smell the same but gives you that similar, clean fresh, sophisticated, euphoric vibe.

This is hands down one of my favorite fragrances out of my 300+ bottle collection. I have loved Fleur Narcotique since the day I put it to my nose. It is just sparkling and bright and makes me instantly happy. The draw back has always been the longevity and sillage for me. I have purchased FN in every size available and I have backups upon backups. I purchased oil perfumery’s dupe, just so I could make a lotion out of it to help with performance (it smells very close to the original) It is my perfect signature scent. I’ve been dealing with an SA who works with Ex Nihilo with my past purchases, so when she emailed me that there was an extrait version available, I told her to immediately invoice me. I didn’t care about cost. I needed it and I needed it NOW. I was super nervous with the slight differences in the notes, afraid it would alter the perfect FN scent and I am happy to say it does not. It has been holding up in the Florida summer heat for a few hours now and I only sprayed my wrists. I can still smell it now without having to bury my nose to my wrist and I am in heaven. I am just beyond the moon for this fragrance. I don’t know if you already have the original FN that you’ll need to drop the hefty tag for the extrait, but I can tell you now that if you either a) don’t care about cost like I do or b) wanted to add FN to your collection, I urge you to go with the extrait. You will not be disappointed!!

When I first tried Fleur Narcotique Extrait, I honestly didn't understand why so many people compared it to Valaya. The opening feels different with juicy lychee, bright bergamot, and fresh florals creating a character of its own. But within a few minutes, the similarity becomes hard to ignore. From a distance, they smell almost like twins. As it dries down, Fleur Narcotique starts to show its own personality. Valaya feels more elegant, sophisticated, romantic, and slightly powdery, while Fleur Narcotique is fruitier, sweeter, brighter, and easier to approach. It feels like Valaya's happier, more playful sister that you can wear every day. I found myself constantly smelling my wrist throughout the day. The combination of juicy fruits and radiant florals is incredibly uplifting, easy to wear, and simply makes me happy. Every time I caught a whiff of it, it put me in a good mood. The performance impressed me as well. Even after spending hours outdoors, I could still smell it clearly on my skin. If you already own Valaya, you probably don't need both. But if you love that DNA and want a fruitier, more vibrant interpretation of it, Fleur Narcotique Extrait is definitely worth trying. Even though I already own and love Valaya, I somehow ended up falling in love with this one too.

I thought a lot about the OG EDP version of this perfume. I already own Valaya, Delina, and Delina Exclusif, and I especially thought it would be very similar to Valaya. When I first sprayed the EDP, it opens with a strong peach note just like Valaya, and as it dries down it also gives a Delina vibe. It’s like a perfect blend of Valaya and Delina—fresh and beautiful. Although it’s not as long-lasting as its PDM siblings, it’s still a very well-lasting fragrance. However, because of the price, I didn’t buy it. Later on, I gave in to my curiosity and tried the extrait version. The extrait is, of course, similar to the OG EDP, but this time the fragrance does not open with a peachy Valaya-like note, there’s no sharp, soapy aldehydic feel, and it doesn’t resemble Delina either. You only get the general vibe of those perfumes, but it’s never too close or a copy of them. The longevity is incredibly high, and the projection is pfffff soooo good. If you’re like me and already own the other perfumes and don’t want to buy something very similar, but this fragrance is still haunting your dreams—go for the extrait version. I felt my money would be well spent, so I bought it immediately. Quentin Bisch, if you’re reading this, I admire you and your taste. Once again, a perfect scent!!

I love this so much, but I also understand all the hate in the comments. No perfume is worth what this retails for imo, but I got a tester though a fragrance group so I’m rating it based on my discounted acquisition. This is linear, but good from start to end (which is whenever you decide to shower). I have the original as well and I really can’t tell much of a difference in the scent behind longevity, and that this one may have a bit more musk; not in a dusty way but just a little less bright & fruity of an impression. While peach is always the note I get from first spray, I forget how this is ultimately a floral scent because of how fresh it is, I tend to avoid jasmine because I don’t like the antique heavy white florals and I will say Quentin Bisch is amazing with how young and modern his florals feel. I layered this with PDM’s valaya at work the other day, and got a few compliments while serving on a sunny patio. Great in summer obviously, but still has enough presence and sophistication to be worn in cold weather. Overall, I am soooo happy to have this in my collection but it’s disappointing to know how many people are priced out of enjoying this one.

You might be tempted to write this off as another overpriced Quentin Bisch floral, but I genuinely recommend giving it a chance. It opens with a beautifully balanced lychee—never too sweet or punchy—then transitions into a fresh, watery peony layered with soft white florals that add both dimension and character. As it dries down, smooth sandalwood and musk ground the composition, giving it an elegant and addicting finish. It really shines the most in the spring air leaving a gorgeous scent trail, with great projection. The only issue is it’s possible people think the scent originates from the blooming flowers outdoors, albeit in strong supply! While it leans feminine, it’s still easily wearable by a confident guy with no revelations about wearing what is considerably a refined floral scent. For me, it’s quickly becoming a signature.

I love this perfume!!!! This is one of my favorites. It's strong but not overpowering. It does differ from the original fleur narcotique. It's heavier and not as light. You will miss that peach note in the extract right in the beginning, but after the dry-down, like in the nonextract, that note is no longer present. I feel the longevity of this one is a lot better than the original. This is a perfect fall-winter fragrance compared to the original, which is a spring-summer. I will say I'm not a big fan of the Litchi. I don't understand the appeal of this note. I tolerate it, but thank you, Ex Nihilo, that this note is barely noticeable. I have found that the more I wear Delina, Vayala, and Delina Rose that the litchi note is starting to give me a headache.

I’ve smelled the original FN and wasn’t completely sold on it because of poor longevity and I preferred valaya. This smells like the og FN but with even more depth from the floral elements. It also lasts very long on clothes and skin. I wore this to the gym last night and I could smell it the entire time. There’s a musk smell still on my skin but the shirt I wore still smells exactly as it did last night. I actually prefer this over valaya just based on scent alone. It is much more expensive but if you can buy from a discounter or secondhand it’s worth it. Otherwise you can buy valaya for much cheaper and it’s easier to find on discounters and just layer with another perfume with a floral/fruity component.

Many will say this is basic/simple however, one does not add steak seasoning to a rib eye, salt will do. The artistry is not in the ingredients per se but rather the creation it self. Its smooth, its a compliment getter, inoffensive, likeable and will make you feel happy wearing it (should you enjoy floral scents). What more can one ask forr? Why must scents have to be complex in order to justify a high price tag.I mean i do prefer beast modes but you cant be wearing beast modes all the time, sometimes you need that quiet luxury scent which is Fleur Narcotique Ex.

I’m a huge fragrance collector and a man; I usually never go for floral fragrances because they are usually to feminine or not my scent profile. But this fragrance is so damn good and I’m in love. It’s such a guilty pleasure of mine and in my top 10. The scent is hard to describe but it’s a very fresh airy floral fragrance with a beautiful lychee note that blends well with the sandalwood round it out. It’s a head turner for sure and all the girls always ask me what I’m wearing at work

The most beautiful perfume I have ever smelled, both on my skin or in general. The moment girl from the store sprayed it on my hand is the most magical moment I have ever experienced in terms of olfactory experiences. I didn’t expect it at all. It is elegant, seductive but fresh, radiant but subtle, luxurious and refined. Through life I would try and have many perfumes but this one for sure will be my signature scent.

A sparkling, bright and airy masterpiece. This is a feminine perfume that I feel 100% confortable wearing as a 30year old man because I enjoy it so much. The light ethereal sweetness of the litchi and peony that flies of a base of musk is uplifting and unique from the other colognes of my collection. I think this is full bottle worthy and would really shine in the spring and summer days.

I have the EDP and don't see a reason you can't have both. This one is better for cooler nights and autumn and the EDP is great for spring and summer. I slightly prefer the extrait because it's a bit deeper and creamier. The overall scent profile is pretty much the same to my nose. The sample has lasted all day on me and is still wafting up...I will have to start saving for a bottle!

This is really nice and performance is really good in me. It’s a musky floral with many similarities to Valaya but I can smell this in myself all day - which I love! However, this one also has a large price tag so owning both of them is redundant to me personally. If you can get your nose on this do but you might already have something similar in your collection

As a man , I love wearing this perfume in summer ... The litchi note blended with the floral note are just super elegant, clean , fresh and sparkling. It could be a very nice signature perfume on a sophisticated woman a little less signature on a man, but why not! However, I expected better performance though ! 9/10 !

This fragrance is stunning. It is reminiscent of Valaya, but with a fruitier, sweeter edge. Valaya is one of my all‐time favorites, and Fleur Narcotique Extrait feels just as captivating. The projection and longevity are wonderful.

It is a very good scent for everyday wear. Both men and women would love this. It projects well and lasts 6-7 hours on my skin. Oh and also layer it with the JHAG Superdose, you will get D&G Light Blue Femme Intense Extrait haha

Such an elegant and sophisticated floral for date night. It does tend to pull a little spicy when first applied to my skin and then mellows into a beautiful fruity floral. Wearing this fragrance makes me feel confident

I blind bought this and I wasn't disappointed. Leans more feminine but I say the guys can wear it. It's a light fragrance that you'll get whiffs of all day long. Just ashamed that it's a bit expensive.

I am so in love with this! Sparkling, elegant. Signature scent worthy. Noticeable but not too overbearing. Long lasting and very unique. Floral, fresh, citrus, musk.

I love love love this scent but it doesn’t seem to last on me which is soo disappointing. It’s still a great scent that i reach for often.

To me it smells like the EDP, except it lasts much, much longer.

The extrait smells like a thicker version of the original Ex Nihilo Fleur Narcotique. Not syrupy but just more presence. Instead of petals steeped in water and infused in a hand lotion, I get a stronger concentrated liquid of the litchi and peony, moss, and rose. Smells a bit like cranberry juice without so much tartness or bitterness. Like a cranberry concentrated body scrub or butter. It’s very juicy and makes my mouth pucker. Cranberry litchi juice lol Cran-Litchi. like how Ocean Spray mixes Cranberry with as many different fruits possible. It does go back to its roots and become a nice lotion with that watery essence, but again still more concentrated but this time less presence. The price of this is gift territory only, and I won’t be mad if someone bought it for me if there was nothing else out that I wanted more. Other than that, this is not a priority to add to my collection. I moved from a love to a like.

I don't think I really understood the term "airy" for a fragrance until I tried Fleur Narcotique. It manages to have real body to it, and yet you never feel overwhelmed or overpowered. It's a sophisticated floral, so well blended that I can't really pick any individual florals out. It's creamy and a bit fruity, but not especially sweet, which makes it very unique in my collection. It's elegant and sophisticated in a way that doesn't feel too grown up, and I find that very appealing.

A very pretty fragrance, very much in the Delina Exclusif niche but I'll add another that I actually think is the twin but better sillage & longevity- Bois 1920 Frammenti. I can't compare to the OG as I've never tested it but you can't escape the price of the Extrait, which directly pitches it against DE Ex, 50ml vs 75ml but against both you have Frammenti cheaper & 100ml. So TBH if I want this DNA then I'm choosing Frammenti, it's just better value.

I love this fragrance so much. I wasn't the biggest fan of the original but this one... OMG 🥰🤤 Comparing it to the original: this one is creamier, thicker, warmer (not airy), simply devine! Beautifully blended as I can't really pin point any specific notes. The performance is better than the original but I wouldn't say it's beast mode by any means. Get. It. Now. 😉

smells pretty good, just not really that interesting. outrageously priced for just another quentin bisch litchi-floral.

Strong floral opening with litchi shade. Ends up earthy mossy and some floral shades.

If you hate OG like me - try this out You won't be disappointed, it's good!

Pleasant but a bit basic. A nice, inoffensive, sweet floral.

There is a heavy smell of moss upon opening. It has such a musty, moss smell. The people I let smell the smell said that it was unbearable the more they smelled it. Edit: I think my nose is getting used to this scent and I seem to like it :)

Nothing special, a bit sweet a lot of Osmanthus, white florals and synthetic lemon. Something that will be forgotten in a couple of years.

Beautiful in the air. Average on my skin. Turns basic on the drydown. I had high hopes for this one, but my nose isn't into it.

Are you kidding me? Like, are you really kidding me? If I wanted to smell like a salon, I would have gone to one. This isn't even a got-my-hair-done smell-good shampoo-y perfume if you like that. This is the smell of the salon sink, dank and stuffy, as they dip your head in and the salonist stands over you with her t-shirt that stills gives of a burnt-hair odor. Why would anyone willingly smell like this?

As with some other perfumes from Ex Nihilo, the freshness of this perfume is unbearable to me. It smells like so many other designer perfumes, I don't see the point. -

I really wanted to like this, but on my skin the scent came out very musky, almost a B.O. scent. I wouldn’t recommend blind buying

Very similar to the original FN, but "thicker". I loved the airiness of the original, but sadly it did not last on me. There's the same persistent note of crispy freshness, and the peachy-ness of osmanthus. I also get a note of freshly baked bread in the beginning, no idea what note is that, but my brain interprets it as the smell of bread and croissants. I also sense it in the regular Fleur Narcotique. I'm not crazy about this note to be honest, and every time just wait for it to go away, which it does at some point, leaving my nose with peachy-peony fresh goodness. By the way, I get the same fresh-bread smell from Elie Saab Le Parfum, probably it's some musk. In Le Parfum, though, it actually smells delicious. The accord of freshness here consists mostly of peony and cold water to me. I sprayed the Extrait once on my wrist and it lasted the whole day. It also projects like crazy, but this is a known fact about FN and all its flankers. The day I tested it on my wrist I wore Delina and I have to say that these perfumes definitely share the DNA. Many ingredients used are surely the same, and so is the signature style of the perfumer. Delina is much sweeter by the way. I love to feel the all the recent perfumery history in modern fragrances, it makes me see it as a process and also reminds me of my earlier years. I remember the year when Chloe's laundry fresh peony-rose perfume emerged. Do you see how it changed the market? All the Delina, Fleur Narcotique, Angel Nova, Very Good Girl, Blouse YSL, Atomic Rose, Lust In Paradise family members definitely have their roots in Chloe, and, initially, the trend started with Narciso Rodriguez for Her (it still goes strong with their other perfumes, they are consistent), Juliette Has a Gun's Lady Vengeance, Miss Charming, Romantina etc. Floral Woody Musks with a berries/fruits edge. If this fresh, strongly projecting, fruity peony + woody base style is your thing AND you have extra cash, FN Extrait might be worth testing. Same sillage as of the original (massive!), longevity greatly improved, more than 12 hours on my skin.

I've worn Ex Nihilo's "Fleur Narcotique" in the eau de parfum strength (which is also exquisite). However, this newer extrait version with the addition of osmanthus (also known as "tea olive") takes "Fleur Narcotique" to a whole other level of fragrance magic! It develops on my skin into a white flower fairyland, all delicately tinged with the scents of apricots and white peaches. If you've ever been in New Orleans when all the tea olives bloom you'll be well on your way to understanding the impact of this fragrance. True to its name, it tells the story of a "narcotic flower," but the scent is never overpowering or demanding, at least not like so many other white flower perfumes can be. The rich and creamy scent of blooming tea olive is famously addictive/narcotic, but it is also ghostly with a now-you-smell-them-now-you-don't effect, the olfactory version of seeing a willow-the-wisp. This creates an irresistible sense of longing. Visitors to New Orleans unfamiliar with this effect often have a difficult time pinpointing the actual source of the tea olive fragrance because, unlike the highly concentrated and localized scent of gardenia, the very tiny osmanthus blossoms seem to cast their fragrance quite far away into the air around them. When the tea olive blooms there is a veritable pas de deux between scent and convection. The performance of the "Fleur Narcotique" extrait captures this effect perfectly. And while Fragrantica is listing osmanthus as a "top note," I smell its presence throughout the entire development, surviving well into the the dry down and base notes. "Fleur Narcotique" has impressive lasting power, ten to twelve hours on my skin. It swirls about all day as a haunting presence, a rare and diaphanous beauty. The total effect is indescribable. Superbly blended and a delight to wear, this one goes way beyond the sum of its parts. Perfect for day or evening.

I fell in love with Parfums de Marly's Valaya and had heard this was very similar so I decided to check it out. (Certainly not in a bid to save money, as it's just as expensive—actually moreso because the smaller size is a bigger bottle than PdM's small.) Upon my first whiff of the tester, I got peony and cherry cough syrup. I was surprised by how syrupy it smelled, but that might be the lychee top note; the fruity sweetness does remind me of the syrup that canned lychees come in. On skin, I definitely see the similarity with Valaya, though this is much fruitier, a little darker, and—yes—more syrupy, if that makes sense. Valaya is peach and orange blossom, this is plum and peony, but they share a lot of the surrounding DNA. It has really exceptional longevity, it just lasts and lasts. Which I would expect from an extrait of this price. Altogether, I'm still riding for Valaya, but it was interesting trying this one out! Smells like: Plum wine.

Compared to the EDP, the Extrait is a more complete version of FN. Its body is fuller and the drydown is on a different level with the musk. I remember trying this a few months ago and the way I felt when I smelled it on my arm was unforgettable. Even 5 hours later, I could still get different notes and it put me in a better mood every time. Definitely runs more feminine, but men, if you're confident in your masculinity, there is no reason why this shouldn't be on the top of your list. I think it is an absolute masterpiece and this scent should be associated with a cherished memory. While it is VERY expensive, it should be worth considering. 9.4/10

This is a more rounded version of Valaya and Fleur Narcotique. I get almost no fruit from this, maybe a touch of the bergamot. There is zero sweetness, just very fresh clean white florals. I don’t typically like the astringent hair spray quality of freesia, but it’s not very pronounced so I can handle it here. I enjoy the dry down of this much more than the opening. It’s a great long lasting floral that really performs in high heat. I sampled this against the og FN and OJ Levant and this was the winner for me based on longevity. It’s a chypre for those who don’t usually like chypres.

I liked this better than the original eau de parfum strength. That one was nice but it wasn't a "wow". This one is definitely amazing. It's at the top of my wishlist. It's an extrait so it's strong, you and other people will smell it, but it still has that feminine, fresh quality. No idea how they did it, just thankful that they did. Is it worth the price? absolutely not, and I hope I can find it one day priced lower than it is right now. Because if it's worth this price I at least expect the packaging to call my name, but it does not. So for now I'll wait.

A very happy floral perfume with hint of sweet. Honestly really love it for what it is, hits the nail on the head just being a floral sweet girly mood. A basicbitch but we love it anyway. It’s nice it makes me feel pretty when I wear it. Like someone said it’s basic and that’s perfectly fine. To me the orange blossom is very present like in killians LDBS it’s that exact same orange blossom note, I can distinguish it from the other notes like it doesn’t “blend” well, but it’s nice anyways.

I purchased this about a week ago because I loved the way it smelled on the tester strip. This does not project and has basically no sillage. It sits very close to the skin. It smells amazing but it also has the longevity of a toy purchased from the dollar store. On clothes I get around 3-4 hours on skin it’s gone within 30 mins. However, I will say I do receive compliments when I receive a hug/embrace. This is a very intimate, & soft fragrance.

Outrageously overpriced for such a pretty inoffensive nice perfume. Just pretty. Just nice. Just mass pleasing smell. Nothing challenging, nothing groundbreaking, nothing to justify the incredibly high price point. A nice flowery smell that would suit a nice young lady. I cant stop myself from using the word nice upon describing this perfume because that's just it, it's just "nice"

Walking to the bus stop on those spring mornings to catch the bus to school I’d pass this huge lavender flowered bush. Later in life I learned it was a lilac bush. This fragrance while it doesn’t smell of lilac reminds me of fresh bright lite airy spring florals when I was a teen in the mid 80’s who wrote poetry. **it has an innocence and youthfulness.
