Gold Immortals Extrait de Parfum

After loving the original Gold Immortals, I had to check out the Extrait version as soon as I could. Right off the bat, this is extremely similar to the original. On my skin the sweeter elements take precedence over the fresh aspects. Sweet, syrupy pear with thick, heady lyslang. I get rich amber intertwined with sweet vanilla in the base. The dry down is intoxicating and makes my eyes roll back into my head. Purchased immediately after sampling at the counter, something I never do. While this doesn’t project as much as the original, it lasts several hours longer on my skin. At approximately 6 hours, the original is completely gone but the Extrait is still a strong skin scent. At 9 hours it’s still noticeable on my skin. Gold Immortals Extrait feels like a modern interpretation of old Hollywood glamour, but not dated or vintage. For reference, I’m almost 40 and will definitely rock this. I feel like this is a scent for the grown and sexy. Because of how prominent the pear and vanilla are on me, I’m somewhat reminded of JPG La Belle. These are no where near the same scent. But, I think if La Belle was your go to scent in your 20s, you will probably enjoy this.

I love this one and purchased retail with zero hesitation. It opens on me with a spiced pear that’s juicy, elegant, and surprisingly dense. It has weight and warmth instead of that light, sparkling pear you usually get, and it immediately pulls me in. Then there’s a moment in the middle where I get something almost salty, not aquatic, just a subtle mineral-salt nuance that gives it texture and dimension. The drydown is what sealed it for me. It becomes a cocoon of amber, tonka, and vanilla, three of my absolute favorite notes, warm, grounding, and softly sweet. If you “see smells” the way I do, it feels anchoring and cozy, like the spiced pear is being gently held by a warm, glowing base. It’s not a big projector. It stays strong and steady and sits close to the skin for more than six hours. I adore this one.

Absolutely love this floriental fragrance with its deep ambery sweetness and floral touches that make it a perfectly blended match. Amazing performance as well, definitely need this in my collection! Imagine a crowded, Olmec ball field. Bodies writhing with intensity built up over failure after failure. All indirect sacrifices of were-jags by means of sheer misses. Sweaty chaos. Suddenly, a live burial beneath a stream of molten gold flakes fused in a sweet petroleum slick misted hundreds of feet into the mob scene of onlookers. Sweet, bougie amber of shimmering gold. This wears like an edt version of Intense Cafe Montale with a hint of olibanum (glistening amber.)

A very bright and uplifting scent profile with very good longevity and beautiful sillage. Pear vanilla accord is dominant from start to late drydown, which make it a truly unisex appeal. Not a safe blind buy if you are into Masculine scent profile.

This is so wonderfully blend, love the perfume and extrait both! The perfume is more for daily wear imho, the extrait for evenings and nights.

The opening definitely has some funk to it. I'm surprised oud isn't listed, because I can detect SOMETHING that's aquite oudy in the opening. Once that settles down however, you're left with a mature fresh ambery floral fragrance. This one is for the 30+ sophisticated crowd. I don't see any young people rocking this one. I guess I get nose blind to this one quickly also becasue a lot of people have rated this one with high sillage, but I'm getting skin scent vibes from my arm. The atomizer from my decant wasn't that great, and the 3 spritzes I used were small- so maybe that has something to do with it. Either way, this scent is definitely unique and probably more meant for formal occasions- I can picture older women rocking this at church on Sunday or maybe the family function during the holidays. Men can rock this, too however! I plan on giving it a full wearing sometime.

A spiced, musky nectar, the lysylang in this unfolds like a loud secret in a quietly lit room. The creamy warmth of the musks wraps around the spiced sweetness, as if an unmentioned clove and cardamom are gently coaxed into a silky embrace. There’s a pulse of honeyed richness, a golden liquid flowing like an elixir, imbued with the juicy, ripe touch of dripping pear—its delicate sweetness suffused with a rare, almost exotic charm. The layers dance, never overwhelming, yet always persistent—fiery, sweet, and soft like a lover’s lingering gaze. Each note, from the sharp zest of the spice to the soft, breathy musk, holds a story of depth and allure, quietly provocative yet undeniably intoxicating.

The original Gold Immortals is one of my favorite scents, I expected this to be even better but it is not (good for my wallet). Here they replaced the musk to vanilla and it became a bit deeper and more spicy which I do not really like, also the original lasts longer than the extrait. The original GI is a masterpiece, this is like 6/10 for me.

Beautiful and well-blended. It's a profile I tend to like, but something about this fragrance just doesn't move me.

i get pear, cinnamon, and sweat for about 30 mins after initial spray. then it's just a dusty amber floral (yes, smells like dust). i swear there's also just a hint of delina in here. sour and musty to me, didn't enjoy. it's ok hours and hours in but who wants to wait that long just to be able to tolerate a fragrance?

This really does smell like dust mixed with florals and tonka bean. This smells like a vintage perfume. It’s smells like a perfume for a wealthy old woman.... It doesn’t stink, it just feels like a very mature scent. Performance seems to be very good.

Tried Gold Immortals and Gold Immortals Extrait. Gold Immortals is musky floral. A bit generic with a similarity to BR540. It’s fresh and has a bit medicinal smell to it. Longevity and silage are both very good and what you’d expect at this price point. However, a more affordable designer house fragrance can do the job.. Gold Immortals Extrait is a vanilla floral. Instead of musk they lean more on a denser vanilla base. It’s good, I like it! It’s finally a vanilla heavy perfume that doesn’t lean gourmand or spicy . The longevity and silage are both on point on this one aswell. However, the longevity might be a bit better than the normal one whereas the silage is a bit closer to the skin. If you can’t choose. Then don’t. Both a perfect and are very good niche perfumes! If you can’t / don’t want to splurge this amount of money I am sure you can find a perfect designer house fragrance that’s similar. I’d say the Extrait is perfect from October to March and then March to October I’d go with the normal one!

I really don’t understand why this isn’t talked about more. All I hear is blue talisman or speed legends. It combines bright and uplifting pear & peony notes with warm and sensual ambers. The vanilla and tonka play a huge part in this, adding some sweetness & thickness to the fragrance. The pear is so beautiful. If you know ex nihilo then you know they know how to do a good pear note. I think this is a great transitioning scent. From winter to spring or Summer to fall. It leans a little feminine but it’s so beautiful I could care less. A true 10/10. Glad I picked up a 100ml

When I first sprayed it at Saks, my boyfriend and I were wondering why it smelled so familiar. It’s very warm and ambery, and a little bit spicy. It gives a “don’t fuck with me or I’ll sue you” rich lady vibe. Then it clicked! It smells EXACTLY like my long discontinued love: Noir Pour Femme. This is NPF but in beast mode, if it were even possible. Too bad it’ll take me a while to buy it with the $440 price tag 😭💀

Fruity floral with good performance. Not particularly distinctive. The bergamot gives the fragrance some freshness which is nice, but the longer term experience had a metallic undertone throughout the dry down which felt like a cheap canned deodorant. The core scent was also reminiscent of Xerjoff Accento overdose and somehow also reminded me of Roja Enigma pour femme which is more rounded and smells more lux.

Smelled this the other day.... Blue Talisman is not better than this..... This scent is highly underrated, it is a crime! Blue Talisman smells really basic like most Blue fragrances. This has alot more body.

I smell a lot of pear on first spray. Then the amber and vanilla took their places. The notes are perfectly well blended. Smells luxurios and intoxicating. It's perfectly unisex.

this blew me away....one of the most interesting. Most beautifully blended fragrances I have smelled in a very long time!

This parfume reminders me my grand mother:)
