Vendomania

Fantastic fragrance! Quite unique IMO. After wearing a sample a few times had to get a full bottle. Not the same as, at all, but it definitely REMINDS me of BR540 with the safron, jasmine and woody base. When I first smelt this I personally thought it was more of a masculine leaning unisex but from what I've seen, others think it's more feminine so I dunno and don't really care...I love it! Don't know most of the fragrances in the "reminds" section but to me it's not really like Oud for Greatness and absolutely nothing at all like Oud Satin Mood. I smelt pretty much every Ex Nihilo fragrance they had in Selfridges and didn't smell anything remotely similar there either...although didn't test most on skin so YMMV. Sillage is big but not obnoxious, and longevity is absolutely insane. Not sure what people that say it doesn't last are doing or where they are spraying (maybe on parts of the body that constantly rub on clothes and furniture??) but for me, I sprayed it on my arm at 10.30am and could still smell it at 11.30am the next day. It's a 10/10 for me. Edit: Regarding longevity - for ME this is by far the longest lasting fragrance I've ever tried. Wore it on Friday evening and was still getting whiffs of it every now and again on Sunday evening.

Vendomania by Ex Nihilo is an outstanding fragrance. All notes work perfectly and compliment each other. Vendomania is blended to perfection. This patchouli and oud based fragrance is absolutely captivating. The combination of these two base notes create a mesmerising and alluring scent. The patchouli adds a deep, earthy quality, while the oud brings a touch of smokiness and richness. It's a perfect blend for those who love bold and exotic fragrances. You'll definitely stand out in a crowd with this unique scent. This is a must buy for fragrance connoisseurs. Jordi Fernández has created another masterpiece. He has done a fantastic job with all his Ex Nihilo creations. I rate this 9/10.

Got collared to try this at Selfridges and was pleasantly surprised. Two sprays on my wrist which lasted through the night, and I could smell it in the morning. The Oud is extremely subtle, If you’re wearing it, I doubt people (unless they’ve got a supersonic nose) will be able to identify the Oud. For me, the Iris, Pachouli, and Sandalwood is very prominent in the dry down. Overall, an amazing fragrance. I bought it straightaway!

Beautiful Scent but didn't perform good.

A fun and versatile Floriental meant to evoke the elegant luxury and sophistry of the Place Vendome district of Paris. The perfume opens with notes of saffron and bergamot. It moves to a heart of jasmine, iris and praline. Finally it settles on a bed of sandalwood, slight oud and patchouli. The feminine leaning scent has good projection and sillage and very good longevity. Nothing exceptional but very playful and yet sophisticated. Enjoy!

the dry down reminds me of Thomas kosmala Apres l'amour N4 a beautiful fragrance. I'd purchase without hesitation
