Indian Oud

I hated this when I first sprayed it because of the sourness from bergamot and I thought it smelled dirty. but the dry down is goood. It’s a classic creamy oud and rose is super complimenting. It’s a soft perfume compared to the most oud perfumes. I dont think oud was never a thing for me so if you love oud you might like this version. The only oud perfume I loved was Santal Royal by Guerlain so keep that in mind.

Bunun açılışı baya sert, şöyle açılıyor: koyun ahırındaki kuru yoncaları düşünün ama üzerlerine koyunların işediği yoncalar gibi kokuyo, yarım saat sonra yoğun bir şekilde gül kokusuna dönüyor. İdrar kokusunu sanırım gül notası veriyo ya da Ganj nehrinden su eklemiş olabilirler, ben sevdim fiyatı da uygundu. Evdeki koku yayan objelerime sıkarım 🙂

Oud sevenlerin beğenebileceği bir parfüm. Tatlı bir kokusu yok daha çok baharatlı odunsu biraz keskin bir açılışı var. Daha sonra baharatlı notalar hafifliyor yerine daha yumuşak bir iz bırakıyor. Fiyatına göre kalıcılık ve yayılımı fena değil.

I find this very appealing and warm, but then I am partial to bergamot top notes and Earl Grey tea, just not mainly on their own, exclusively. I can see why it’s classsed as unisex. Personally, I’m kinda old school, and used to more floral notes for women, but that could always change. I have heard that Oud blends are very popular in eastern countries. I am just discovering the variety and complexities of Oud, it will keep me busy for quite awhile! In exploring this brand’s offerings, it’s a fond reminder of a Spring birthday trip to Turkey. I’m not usually a fan of much patchouli, although the sandalwood, amber, and musk are more evident and smooth here. I was gifted this in a mini 5 pack of spray Oud colognes. The packaging is also exotic and beautiful. I enjoyed the Istanbul and Rose Oud versions as well; will probably wear those two the most.
