Turn 1 Eau de Toilette

I get DIOR Sauvage much like everyone else in the reviews but it’s also got its own thing going on, this kind of reminds me of drifter by true religion. This fragrance is more green and not as loud as Sauvage. It’s got a nice juicy mandarin note up top with a slightly aquatic vibe in the dry down from the violet leaf. I got this fragrance for $15 USD and for that price I couldn’t pass it up. I’m not a big Sauvage fan but this is different enough to wear out and smell really good but just a little different than all the other guys. 7/10 for the poor atomizer and funky stand/bottle design.

This is basically DIOR SAUVAGE. The performance is pretty good in my opinion. I sprayed 2 sprays on my wrist about an hour ago, and it's still going strong, filling up the room. I tested it at my local Macy's Backstage, spraying several other fragrances on different parts of my body, and this one dominates them all. I can't smell anything else. I'm not a fan of the Sauvage DNA, so I didn't buy it, but if you love Sauvage EDT, you might want to grab this for 25 dollars. Highly recommend. 6.5/10.

Softer Dior Sauvage But with notable angelica giving a fresh green aromatic element but staying soft, & a powdery musk base.

A rather strange scent compared to the marketing blurb and how it actually smells. Turn 1 is apparently a 'fresh and mineral fragrance that evokes the tension of tyres racing on wet asphalt'. From this description, I would expect a scent that is similar to Dior's Fahrenheit, but alas this is none other than a clone of the more recent Dior Sauvage!! I get no wet asphalt or racing tyres as such. The opening is a fresh out-of-the-shower scent and the association to Dior Sauvage is so strong that it is impossible to think of this scent in any other way. The scent does last quite well on skin and has the spices toned down compared to the Dior. However, the price is way too high for a clone scent, therefore this is a thumbs down for me. Move along please - nothing to see here.

This is the same as a Dior Sauvage and or Prada Carbon EDT for an affordable price with decent projection and longevity.

Please, stop making “aventus-like” perfumes. The market is saturated. I beg you, please stop!
