Tribeca Vibes

Grey in tone; austere, poised, and impeccably chic. The opening is strikingly effervescent, almost sprite-like. Imagine a tall glass of ice-cold lemon soda set down in front of you, the fizz crackling softly, tiny sparkling droplets brushing your face before the first sip. As it settles, a garden-like freshness emerges; yet not a natural one. This is a futuristic garden, where flowers (mostly cold violets) seem forged from delicate metal and are watered by machines, woohooo! I’m nearly certain vetiver plays a role here, lending that cool, mineral tone alongside a subtle woodland freshness and earthy undertone. As the mineral–floral phase fades, it warms into airy musk and powdery violets (not sweet), remaining true to its original character. Like rain just passed over cobblestone streets. I genuinely enjoyed this. I’m not a fan of Bois Impérial, which feels too harsh for me, nor of Ganymede, whose metallic-sweet tension can be overwhelming. This, however, feels calm, balanced, and breathable; a serene and aromatic mineral-floral-musk composition that never feels oppressive. Pafory Advent Calendar 2025 – Day 20 First impression: instant love. A crisp, green burst of grapefruit and cut grass, with flashes of basil. It smells like a garden early in the morning - cool, fresh, alive. Violet peeks through almost immediately, adding a soft elegance to all that greenery. Clean, vibrant, and effortlessly uplifting. One of those openings that just works. The heart leans into violet - smooth, confident, quietly structured - supported by subtle florals and a growing thread of vetiver. Balanced and natural, never trying too hard. The drydown is where it really wins me over. Vetiver takes centre stage: elegant, earthy, and beautifully calm. It’s softened by clean musk, with a faint trace of incense and a gentle clove spice giving it depth without heaviness. Addictive. Sophisticated yet grounded. Comfortingly familiar too - no surprise, really. It sits somewhere between the modern clarity of Bois Impérial and the timeless, polished earthiness of Grey Vetiver. Full review to follow. Niche December Contestant 20: First impressions: A very clean-smelling frag with slight citric notes, grass, florals and herbs. Has a tiny bit of sweetness to it. I expect vetiver to open up later on. For my testing, I will wear this to the gym. Sprayed quite a lot of it on too. Main review: It's a rather airy scent despite having a more sophisticated drydown. It doesn't project much, but I did pull around 7 hours of performance out of it before it became unnoticeable. Quite sad, since the scent profile is great! Overall: 8/10 for the scent

A solid fragrance release, got bois imperial when I first smelt it which I have and love but this is not as sharp and toned down. I'll need to smell them side by side but as it stands as much as I think this frag is fantastic I don't know I would need this and bois imperial in my collection, either or are great if you don't have something like this

Bois Imperial-Vibes with respect. A big perfumer like Kashani designing Tribeca Vibes this way makes it official that Bois Impérial has become a major DNA, similar to how Aventus defined the fruity chypre style, how vetiver fragrances form a distinct category, or similar to many other big perfumes achieved in the past. I’ve only tried a few sprays on my wrist so far, need to do a full wear test. I liked it a lot at this stage. It doesn't have the metallic reflective multi-faceted akigala feeling, which makes it smoother and probably more mass appealing and safe.

Instanly reminds of Bois Imperial, with less vetiver pungency

I would have given it a good rating since it’s a DNA I like, but it smells almost identical to Bois Impérial, and at this price point, I have to rate it as average. It feels like a slightly more unisex version of Bois Impérial, that’s all. Also, it becomes sharper as it dries down, whereas Bois Impérial gets better with time.

Grassy, musky, incense-heavy. I don't get much freshness or levity from this, nor do I get any grapefruit or basil. It smells like an expensive store, and not in an altogether pleasant way.

On the opening reminds me of a Coca-Cola vibe, after turns more dry, good longevity, low projection. 7/10
