The manufacturer lists the following notes: Juniper, Badian (Star Anise), Angelica, Artemesia, Pepper, Lily of the Valley, Cedar, Sandalwood, Ambergris. The juniper is dominant in the opening, and provides an amazing fresh/green/aromatic element, along with (unlisted) citrus and plenty of lavender. This is incredibly fresh, but the juniper distinguishes it from run-of-the-mill freshies. As the heart develops, the citrus fades, leaving way for the Angelica (which has a maple syrup, green essence) and Artemesia (aka wormwood or mugwort) to turn this a bit more green/earthy and lightly bitter, in a nice way. Artemesia and Angelica are an unusual combination, and when paired with the juniper that is still quite powerful, it creates a very unique accord that intrigues. This accord stays pretty consistent into the drydown, though bits of anise, pepper, violet leaf, oakmoss and patchouli flit in and out of the background. This trails off at around 5 hours, picking up some fougere accords in a final flourish. It is easy to believe at a sniff that this is a basic generic scent, but it really isn't. They have taken some risks here, resulting in something that straddles designer and niche. Lovers of juniper need to try this because it is one of the stronger juniper fragrances I have experienced; and if you don't know what Angelica or Artemesia smells like, you will know once you have tried this. This can be worn by men or women, but I don't think that anyone under the age of 30 will like it much. The earthy green elements take some discernment and experience to appreciate. Suitable for casual or office wear due to its moderate projection and juniper overtones, and can be worn any season except for below freezing temps. Final note: This has one of the coolest sprayers ever. It can be locked to prevent spraying, and puts out a lot of juice. Bought this for $25 from Walmart this month, so rumors of this being unavailable are not correct.

I own over 60 fragrances and this has been my all-time favorite for over 20 years. Nothing is gonna beat this masterpiece. My signature scent for sure.

I love the woman version but this one unfortunately didnt last long on my boy friend. Not as attractive as the woman one, a little bit ordinary summer scent.

Fresh edt, match for sunny day. Alot of similiarity with pino silvestre perfect gentlement. Bought it only for idr 245,000 equal to $20.
