Finist the Falcon

To start, I am not a floral fan. I never have been. But this. This scent has completely turned that on it's head. The roses are gorgeous they smell almost real. It is very very strong upon initial application (mind you all my reviews have been based on one spray of each) And I genuinely had to leave the room it was so strong The rose does get less pungent as it wears, but it was pleasant, despite how strong it starts out. Then the sweetness comes through, I can't differ from each fruit myself as I'm just an average person but it does come off as fruit and honey to me, Though you have to really sniff it in to get them, it gets easier to as the roses wear dry luckily. I adore this scent so much, it's really made me feel like the embodiment of valentines wearing it, and absolutely suggest it. It's one I might even purchase a full bottle of (or just something larger than a sample) it's that good.

rose petals & strawberries steeped in honey, drizzled with sweet cream. imo Fantome consistently produces such wonderful scents, and this is no exception. the rose here is sweet and fresh, not very green or herbal-smelling, which in turn emphasize the sugariness of the strawberry and honey. it's very fruit-forward on paper, but on my skin the honey note really shines; when I tested this on my arm, I could really smell that rich honey close to the skin. moderate longevity, but decent projection, about at arm's length. this won't announce your presence, but the people around you will feel it. really lovely, unique, girly rose without being too perfume-y; I think this is perfect for year round (with caution in the summer...that honey/cream combo could sour). love!

Juicy rose jam with velvety currant and a hint of cream underneath it all. My favorite rose. It’s lush, juicy, sweetened, a bit playful, and deliciously creamy without going too gourmand. This isn't a fruity scent at all. It's just a vibrant beating heart of a delectable rose.

In the world of perfumery, there's your cheerful, crisp, and fresh young garden rose fragrances, and then there is your dark foreboding rose - tempting, but cruel, surrounded by leathery, woody notes. In Finist the Falcon, you can find the in-between... something like a fairytale rose, much like the rose trapped in the bell jar of Beauty and the Beast. This is a true, lush rose drenched in the smoothness of rich honey and sweetened with ripe fruit. Simplistic, but with beautiful pay-off. The notes are very realistic and certainly conveys, as a whole, the story that Fantome was trying to impart with this creation. This is clearly crafted with quality and intention, and I love that this is a very small business. I have three other samples of theirs that I will review very soon!

I have the oil. This is a wonderful rose that's bolstered by the fruity base. It's not overly floral or green. Reminds me of rose jam by Lush, but less cloyingly citrus candy.

This is not my usual scent profile, so take this with a handful of salt. I am back and forth on this one... when I first sprayed it, I hated it. It was so sweet and harsh and like a floral bomb in a bad way. After the dry down, the rose calmed down and turned much more light and realistic. This is still too much for me and wayyyyy too sweet for my tastes but if you want to smell like a rose that is somehow fresh AND doused in cream and sugar, this is totally for you. Great for folks who love a gourmand.

Starts out pretty sharp. I think its like an orange skin citrus but it might be the fruit and rose? It then settles in about 10 minutes to a beautiful light honey scent. Not one that I personally need in my collection as I have many honeys that are witchier and spookier but this is nice. If you like Honey and the moon by tokyomilk but want something more floral/fruity, this is your guy 🥰
