Lorelei

First spray: strawberry, sweet Basil, and aquatic notes. Very fresh and sweet! Smells like eating strawberries on a clean beach and unburnt incense. Very accurate to the description on the website. The aquatic notes and whatever I’m smelling that smells like unburnt incense adds a lot of maturity to the strawberry making it mature and sexy. Distinctly a summer fragrance. You could definitely wear this in the daytime but I feel like the ideal place to wear this would be at a bonfire by the beach at night. 1 hour+: my boyfriend noticed the strawberry and florals most, while I notice the florals and aquatic notes while the strawberry sits in the back adding some fresh and juicy flirtiness. Still basically the same as my first spray but all the notes are blending together more seamlessly now. This is definitely in my top 3 from Fantôme (with Vasalisa and Gion).

I got a sample of the Lorelei EDP with a few others. At first I was kind of unsure about it because I don't normally go for fruity scents. Strawberry in particular often comes across too sweet for me. But I was intrigued by the description on the website and decided to try it anyway. At first, I thought it was nice but wasn't sure I liked it enough to get a full bottle. But every time I've worn it since, I just like it more and more. It might be my #1 favorite perfume at the moment. The wild strawberry scent is really natural and realistic smelling. Not too sweet at all. And it's balanced by the other notes in a way that's very unique and just so beautiful to me... I can't wait to get a full bottle after I finish my sample

Makes some noise for a fragrance with an introverted soul. For the first week I had this it smelled like a combination of strawberry and kush, I was uncertain about my feelings then. Lorelei now sings a siren’s lament on misty days among the jagged coast of a lonely lake. Maybe the few nights a year she can walk among the humans are spent at a beachside ice cream shop or a late summer drive-in. Twilight is her favorite. Fresh strawberry and basil fades into a saltier version of the ensemble and it’s mouthwatering. The narcissus is also a wonderful floral undercurrent. I wore this to see my favorite emo band play so... that’s already high praise.

A lot warmer than I was expecting! Really lovely subtle sweetness, cosy incense, with a hint of the beach at low tide.
