Madame d'Espérance

I really love this perfume. I blind bought it based off of a friend's recommendation and I've been very happy with it. I do wish it had a larger sillage, but otherwise, it's wonderful. At least for me, I feel like the frankincense and jasmine both really pop. It smells almost sweet without being sugary in any way, and the heavier notes keep it grounded.

I think this is my favorite of the samples I got from this brand. It's a slightly animalic/herbal jasmine. Very pretty albeit pretty weak

I need to start this by saying it's not for the faint of heart. It might have been the frankincense, the dusty cedar or just my body chemistry, but it started out with a strong tangy piss scent for me, and then settled into a *intense* jasmine. At the very end it finally mellowed into something I enjoyed but a subtle girl this is not. I do have to admire the art, they did in fact do what they set out to do, I can def see the vision of the spooky, dim parlor seance-con run by a fake Frenchwoman. Would be great to wear on Halloween, and on nights I might feel particularly bold.

This smells like a toilet air freshener honestly. One of those lemon ones you smell in a dingy and partially rundown toilet in like, a charity shop or something in the middle of a nowhere UK town. I'm not opposed to this but it's definitely not for me, it's rather offensive to wear and it hurts my nose almost?

For quite a while after applying it, it STRONGLY reminds me of public bathrooms along an interstate road or something that haven’t been cleaned in a couple days. a third fecal, a third piss, and a third pink soap, for some reason this part lasts a couple hours at least. it then settles into a rather nice floral sagey scent, which stays fairly close to the body, but is nice nonetheless. Be prepared to apply early in the morning to allow it to settle out of the ‘highway reststop’ phase.
