Mesmer

I wasn't expecting to love this as much as I did, but the fresh spicy note is right! It opens very clean, green and yet kinda sexy, the whole "animal magnetism" of it all. I kept thinking about how much I would want to smell this on someone else. There was a not great bit as it mellowed when it leaned fully into cleaning product, but then it kept going into a nice soft balsamic, maybe even with a hint of fruit. I did not think a perfume with this name, backstory and notes would turn into one I am considering wearing daily but. I just loved it.

Nothing much to say, if you've seen my other reviews you know I don't like myrrh sadly. So this once again became piss like on me 💔

This one is so strange because it doesn't smell like how you would imagine by the notes. Started out an aggressive chemical /industrial/mechanical smell like oil and gasoline then leaned into oceany/animalic (probably the ambergis) and now it's going citrus piney? It's very sharp on the nose actually this kind of smells like an oil spill in the ocean and the scent of that polluted water washing up on a beach? I feel like I know a lot of animalic ambergris lovers who like a dirty strange ocean smell so this would slap for them, but for me this is just headache inducing as I really dislike chemically smells and this leans a little into that. I would say this leans masculine.
