Parlour

Upon initial spray, everything it there. You can smell everything, it's strong. It's dark, it's slightly zesty or like sparks in your nose (and it's just wood. If you, like me, adore the smell of wood. Sandal wood especially, then this is a good scent to try. I feel like a sexy little witch in a tree turned house, with a fire on and a desk scrawled with papers on recipes and magic. It does prickle my eyes just a tad, but that's an ok price to pay for such an amazing woody scent that doesn't feel like I'm just sniffing a tree. I think this would go wonderfully with an ink scent too,

Parlor feels like a luxurious smoking room in a haunted old home where glasses of whiskey are enjoyed on a worn leather chesterfield sofa. This reminds me of a spookier version of Jazz Club. This scent is one of my favorite's that I’ve tried from Fantôme. I have the perfume oil and a little goes a long way. As with all Fantôme perfume oils I’ve tried the projection and longevity are strong. These are also unusual scents and are for those looking for something different, kind of mysterious. This does not mean that they aren’t beautiful. Parlor is one of my favorites

I heavily enjoy incense inspired perfumes and fantome nailed Parlour. Its wonderfully smoky and sweet, and almost floral. I have a decent fantome collection and I always gravitate towards Parlour.

I really like how Fantome always nails the vibes/ambience of what they are aiming for. This one has a STRONG incense opener, but then it turns into hot wood (not a knock, it reminded me of a sauna smell which I dug). But as time goes on both the polish and the sweet notes in the wood start to come out, it's almost sandalwood adjacent and ends on a sort of sweetish incense ash on wood kind of smell. I actually really liked it and how it shifted over the day, I could def see this as a formal event perfume.

Yuck it’s terrible. Right back to beginning of construction apartment of paint and varnish and bad chemicals. Terrible terrible oud, take it away.
